Mining

Mining is a pretty simple skill to understand. Make sure you have a Pick Axe in your inventory then click on a rock with ore inside it and if you are a high enough level you will obtain the ore. There are 10 different Ores to mine: Clay, Tin, Copper Ore, Iron Ore, Silver, Gold Nugget, Coal, Mithril Ore, Adamantine Ore and Runite Ore! You will also find the occasional gem when mining.
Mining Tip:

You can obtain gems from a rock even when there is no ore present.


Mining Tip:

If the rock is the standard grey, then you'll either have to wait for the ore to spawn or there never will be any ore in the rock. But if its a coloured rock, then click click click, theres ore inside.

    Mining Tip:

    You can buy a beer called a Dwarven Stout, it raises your mining and smithing by 1 temporarily. If you are 84 mining you could use this to mine Rune!


    Mining Tip:

    Rocks are now colour coded so as your walking past rocks take a second to see what there, no need to search for a bed now.
