| History of the Runescape Order of Jedi Knights |
| The Runescape Jedi knights where formed on Oct 17 2001. It came to exist from the ashes of another clan named T.U.S.K (The Unbelieveable Shadow Knights). Former members of that clan along with one new member formed the Jedi. Shadodragon3, Paladwyn, Sonya, Zigorkhan. These four people came together to form the jedi. All four came from very different backgrounds but came together to uphold three ideals. Justice, Freedom, and honor. And thus the saga of the jedi knights began. The First Age "Dark age of the Jedi" The First age of the jedi knights was filled with chaos and destruction. After forming, Many agents of evil infultrated the clan and and began to create chaos. During this age the clan structure was much different. There where only two ranks. Master (above lvl 40) and apprentice (Below lvl 40). And there was no council. The clan was ruled by the overal vote of the jedi council. This made it easy for the evil ones that entered the clan to influance it. As well during this age, many clans much stronger then the newly formed jedi knights declared war apon the jedi. These a few of these battles were impossible to win and many were lost. Much death and sadness occured during this dark age of the clan. Many of the new members fled the clan out of fear of destruction. This period tested the very foundations of the clan. It was only thanks to the strength and bravery of the remaining members that this clan still exists to this date. Some good did come of this age thou. Many of the clan members during this age learned how to fight in battle against over whelming opposition. It also strengthend the resolve of the jedi members. The Second Age "The Revival" The destruction of the Dark ages caused much havok within the jedi knights. The second age brought many changes to the jedi clan. With the problems that the evil ones where able to cause in the clan due to the open ended desition making of the clan. A new Leadership group was created. The first Jedi Council was made up of Shadodragon3, Sonya, and Zigorkhan. Also in this age the first major victory for the jedi knights was won. The war against the a clan called "The Great Knights of Falador" was a total victory and the first strike against the "newbie killers" of that age. During this age the Jedi Knights webpage was created. Although the webpage was created the member growth remaned low. The second age ended with the jedi knights member count of about 15 active members. The age thou marked the re-birth of a stronger jedi knights and the foundations of the clan where greatly strengthend. The Third Age "The Golden age" The third age of the jedi knight was marked by the member explosion. Shortly after the second council election which found Paladwyn, Sonya, and Zigorkhan on the council. The jedi Clan website exploded with applications. Within a week the jedi knights exploded from 15 members to 35. At the high point the jedi had 75 active members. This age also marked many successful wilderness patrols. The clan grew so big that the council was expaned. On top of the three council leaders. The squads were created, These squads kept track of various aspects of clan operation such as food supply, armory, security...... also each squad was its own respective army and a jedi special forces elite squad was created. There where a few clan wars during this age ending with two wins and one defeat. But this age was also marked by another incident. A few rouge members of the clan left and formed there own clan. Although a pain. This clan proved to be but thorn in the side. The few confrontaions between the jedi and them always ended in a jedi victory. In the end the other clan fell apart from within. The trators turned on each other. This matter was only the small shadow of the golden age. It was mostly filled with clan expantion, and lots of fun. The golden age came to an end too soon, but in the end.... good things cant last forever. The Fourth Age "The Quiet Age" The Fourth Age of the Jedi Knights is called the Quiet age of the jedi since thing were quiet during this age. During this age the clan experianced very little external conflict. In total only a single real war occured in his age. There where many challenges but in the end it always ended in an empty threat, a back down, or the challenger would simply.....disappear. With the focus of runescape moving to runescape members, There has been little action. there where a few sucessful wilderness patrols, and the odd minor battle. The clan ended up going back to the Clan Event for activity. Also in this age the Jedi celebrated our 1 year anniversary. Which is not bad since the majorty of runescape clans don't last 6 months. Also the upper lower council system was adopted which has worked with some success. In this age the clan has died down quite a bit. Many of the founding members have left and the member amounts have dropped down to the mid 20's. One of the saddest departures was Paladwyn, He was one of the founding members and One of the members which had truely created this clan. Several successful clan events where held. In the end this age ended off pretty much average. The Fifth Age "The End of the Jedi" The Fifth and final age of the Jedi began in December of 2002. Clan continued on much the same as it did before, little action, a few threats and the occasional minior conflict. Since the founding of the clan runescape had changed. A clan with the focus on members, a clan centered around the free servers just couldn't last. Many members began to depart from the clan to go on there own journey. Although a few die hard members vowed to remain with the jedi till the end. Unfortunately things could not last. In January Zigorkhan announced his soon retirement from runescape. Jiva a member of the lower council resigned from the clan to follow his own path. Firefang 2115 resigned to follow his own path as well. In the end there really wasn't anyone left to take over the clan. In april, a final meeting was held and the idea came up to scrap the clan. Although there was some resistance from some members. In the end, everyone knew this was what had to be done. On april 26th 2003, the jedi knights disbanned..... 1 year, 6 months, and 9 days after its creation....... "Final Words on the Jedi" The jedi knights was formed on idealism.. A hope to better runescape. Were these ideals too high? Maybe so, Maybe not.... There are plenty of successes and Failures in the time of the Jedi. Looking back thou... It was one heck of a ride, The Jedi Knights... Who would have known that a little clan, founded by four unknown players, out of the ashes of a even smaller clan..... Could have done so well. Sure we may not have been the strongest, or the Largest, or the most well known.... But we made our mark none the less, even thou it may not be as visible as some others. Our clan was a success. Even thou it did not last., it lasted pretty long. Lasted longer then most of the clans we allied with, and were enemies with. I'm quite proud of it.... and so should everyone else who was in it. I hope everyone can look back fondly on there days with the Jedi.... Our Final war record.... 15 wars.... 10 victories - 5 defeats Not Bad......Not bad at all...... Thankyou to everyone that was ever a member or an ally of this clan over its time it existed. Without all of you this clan would have never lasted past the first day.
