15813 STRIPPED DOWN
Regular visitors to this web site will know that our own Fowler Steam Roller, works No 15813 was recently deemed to be in need of a new firebox.
The engine was taken to bits directly after the 2005 Kemble event and stood in the shed awaiting the arrival of the person who was due to undertake the work.
After a pertracted amout of time and no communication it was decided to find another person to undertake the work. This was done and the engine was taken to their premises where work is well underway. We'll bring full reports in time on the progress. |
