In the parking lot near the trail entrance, between the Community Center and the Skate Park. The Community Center is locates at 1255 Fuller Street in Shakopee, MN.
Route:
The running route uses a flat, paved trail through the south side of Shakopee. Half the trail passes through residential neighborhoods, the other half through school yards and local parks.
To the west, the trail crosses one street, passes through Lions Park, circles Sweeney Elementary School, and returns, via the trail, to the Community Center. The entire round trip is approximately 4 miles.
To the East, the trail crosses three (3) roads and utilizes the County Road 17/Marschall Road underpass. The trail then travels through Scenic Heights Park before coming to an end at Park Ridge Drive/Hauer Trail. Turn around and return to the Community Center for a round trip total of approximately 4 miles.

Restrooms and water are available at the Community Center.
This trail is usually cleared in the Winter though the wind and snowmobiles can throw drifts across the trail. This route is unlit, but is runable during the dark winter months. Reflective clothing is highly recommended, however.
