Victory Day in Okinawa Surrender Document Victory Day in Okinawa

The picture in the center is a copy of the offical Japanese surrender document. To the right and to the left are pictures showing a fire works display on the evening of the announcement of the surrender. The fireworks are tracers, fired from ships anchored at Okinawa. In the top left picture the text "Aug 10 VJ-Day Okinawa" was etched into the picture.
