65th Birthday
Dad, this year should have been the year of your retirement and the beginning of a new life for you. Your 65th birthday should have been another milestone and cause for celebration. Instead, I had to visit you at the graveyard last month, and bring you some flowers there. I don't think any of us anticipated this course of events. It has now been over three years since I last saw you, and though the pain has somewhat lessened a little, it will never go away completely.
Hoping that you can see this from wherever you are, I just want to wish you a happy birthday, I hope you're healthy and keep watching over me.
I love you, Dad. I always will.
