Introducing R.R.M.L. Member, Ron Oldham

My story and I'm sticking to it.........

We began buck-skinning in 1978. Bought a tipi and with my wife Maryl

and two young daughters we were off on many new adventures. Like most people we soon gathered more equipment than we could ever use. At one point we had three tents. Tipi, wall tent and a wedge. Our main interest was the shooting. Rifle, pistol, trade gun and shotgun.

We retired in 1991 and we were able to attend many of the national rendezvous around the country.

In 1996 we moved to the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. Have done a little muzzle loading but mostly shooting on a trap league and we are both involved in Cowboy Action Shooting. This is revolvers, rifle and shotgun. I also shoot long range rifle. Also have been doing leather work for the cowboy shooter. Casting and reloading for everything we shoot helps keep me busy. Not to mention the fishing and a little hunting. I am now looking into the early cowboy period of black powder cap and ball revolver.
