Ralph Ashby

78 yrs., of Edinburg, New York and formerly of Spring Valley and
Lake Wildwood died March 26th, 2006. Ralph was born March 21,
1928, in Lorenze, Iowa to Ralph W. and Irene (Muzzy) Ashby.
He graduated from Roy C. Knapp School of Percussion in Chicago
after his graduation from high school in Emmetsburg, Iowa.
He served in the U.S. Army in Korea prior to the Korean war.
He worked in sales and insurance. After retirement, he had resided
in Spring Valley, Illinois and Lake Wildwood, where he was
involved in buckskinning/Mountainman clubs. He also served
on the lake Wildwood council.

Survivors are one son, Ralph (Dara) Ashby of Chicago; one Daughter
Terri (Matt) Westerberg of San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren;
three brothers, James Ashby of Spring Valley, Illinois, John Ashby
of Iowa City, Iowa and Robert Ashby of Woodbury, Minn.; and
nieces and Nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the donors choice.
