Mark A. Nelson

 Mark A. Nelson, 53, of Sandwich, Illinois passed away Wednesday, 

June 8, 2005 in Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. He was born 

January 17, 1952 in Springfield, IL, the son of Robert and Jocelyn 

(Watt) Nelson. He married Julie Hulslander on September 7, 1996

 in Princeton, IL.

He was a member of the Illinois Police Association, and the River Rats 

Muzzleloading Rifle Club. Mark was a former Lions, Jaycee Club and was

 an Eagle Scout. He was a life long avid New York Yankees fan. He was 

retired from the Illinois Department of Corrections at Stateville Correctional 

Facility in Joliet, IL.

Mark was a member of the River Rat Muzzleloaders Club

 and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Julie of Sandwich; his mother, 

Jocelyn Nelson of Xenia, OH; a daughter, Becky Nelson of 

Bolingbrook, IL; a son, Ethan Nelson at home; a sister, 

Donna (Dick) Karney of Houston, TX; a brother, Bob (Carey)

 Nelson of Yellow Springs, OH; and several nieces and 

nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.

He will be greatly missed by many.
