A Tree i went into the woods and found a tree good and pleasing as i could see i asked of him, come home with me we rested then, a little bit when he was ready a shape was found was some of him and some of me a shape that pleased the eye suiting the way he'd grown then came a finish to preserve the hue and tone and then i thought, are we ever finished glazed as may be to protect from wear and formed, too, by others hands as wood is never finished but changed in ways by a perceivers eye is thus to you and so of me |
