Where to start? The worst movie I’ve ever seen. WTF?! The sad part is they had an interesting story line. But it was almost like they didn’t even try to make a good movie out of it. The acting was horrible, and they inserted random frames from the game throughout the movie. I’d have to say there were 3 scenes of the movie where they forgot it was suppose to be a bad movie. For those of you that have seen it (I’m sorry) you’ll know what I’m talking about here. The scene where the zombies were on the boat and they start attacking the people in the water, and the people on shore open fire on them. The second scene was when they encountered a slue of zombies. The Matrix style combat scenes were “fake”. Almost like they put themselves in that position just for the “Matrix effect”. Not smooth at all! The only Matrix effect that they pulled off that looked good was when they slowed it down for a shotgun spray tearing a zombie apart. The last scene that was halfway decent was the sword fight at the end with the mastermind behind the zombies.
And I’ve seen a lot of zombie movies,
and never have I ever seen a zombie use weapons or tools of any kind. In this movie, a zombie cuts a girl’s legs
off with an axe.
Overall, this movie is “Extremely
Cheesy”. Don’t waste your money. Don’t rent it, don’t buy it, and don’t waste
the hour and a half of your life watching it, but if you do have to see it,
find someone else that already paid for it and barrow it before they get rid of
it.
Flaws:
I
can’t think of any flaws other then just bad film design.
Effects:
The
effects were pretty good. When zombies
were shot in the head, their head came apart about like it should. I’ve watched a lot of Faces of Death, so I
know what a head should look like when it comes apart. They just took some things way too far.
