Who Need's a Comp Card

Comp Cards is a tool needed by most persons in the Entertainment Business;

Comp Cards "Composite Photo Card" are also known as "Zed Cards", or "Composite Sheets".

Comp Cards, in many cases are used by Actors, and people who seek employment in the Entertainment Business as a tool to market their physical appearance or “Visual Talent”.

A Comp Card can provide a combination of pictures and basic stats on card stock, rigid paper or online. Comp Cards may be printed in black and white, color and/or a combination of both. Traditionally everything was done in black and white but now days using color comp cards it depicts the natural beauty of the Model/Actor.  

Paper Comp Cards are the standard marketing tool that have been used for many years and are still very essential to have today.

A Model is marketed typically by a Modeling Agent who uses the comp cards to show a potential employer what the model looks like. Using this tool the agent may hand over the comp card to the potential employer so that he/or she may use at a later date as a reference, whether it be before or after the interview.  Headshots are frequently used by “Actors” more than models.

In today’s market, e-comp cards or online comp cards, are being used to market to a wider audience. There are many Modeling Agency’s that only use this method but we recommend using both tools to maximize the opportunity of obtaining employment. It is the responsibility of the Model/Actor to provide their Agent (Agency or Manager) with Comp Cards or Head Shots to market your image and stats. Some agency’s provide their own photographer but may cost you a fortune.
