The Ordering Act

Purpose: To bring greater Order to the Nation, to encourage Expansion, and to reward appropriately Service to the Nation.

Article I: Any citizen of the Nation of Audentior shall be allowed to create a Province. This must be a web page whose size is no fewer than 100,000 Kilobytes and has no fewer than two (2) people supporting or maintaining it. Having created the Province, one of the persons who has made the web page (hereafter referred to as the ‘Creator’) must submit the Province to the Audentior Parliament. Should the Parliament vote to include it in the Nation by a majority vote, it shall become an official Audentior province. One (1) Creator shall be given the title of Governor.

Article II: To become a province, the following requirements must be met. Firstly, the province must have a government. This may consist of anything from a simple statement saying that the Governor wields all executive power to a complex legislative system. It must also have some sort of other content, from businesses to information/text to services. The Parliament shall be rather lenient on the Content portion

Article III: Certain subjects or points will not be allowed as an Audentior Province. These include anything that contradicts the Audentior Constitution, such as that which the Courts determine to be hateful. Another thing that will not be tolerated is a Province claiming to have greater rights than the federal government to pass laws. The use of the word State has been particularly refrained from to discourage any ideas that the Provinces get special rights.

Article IV: The government shall provide incentives both to form new Provinces and to participate in an already settled Province. Among the former shall be the title of Governor, the power to create laws within a Province, as long as they do not conflict with National laws. Among the latter shall be whatever the Governors of the Provinces shall create.

Article V: To promote activism within Audentior and create Patriotism in our People, a Table of Ranks will be drawn up. Ranks shall be appointed by Parliament, and are neither hereditary nor irrevocable. Such ranks shall include Governor, the granting of which is explained above, and others. Lieutenant Governor shall be given to up to 3 of a Province’s founders who did not receive the Governor title. Minister shall be given to those people appointed to the Cabinet by the Prime Minister. Parliamentarian shall be a member of Parliament, and Prime Minister shall be bestowed to a single person by vote. The title Advisor shall be given by vote of the Parliament to those citizens deemed worthy.
