Procedure Act
RESOLVED THAT, due to the need for a consistent election structure, there shall be Parliamentary elections held every two months.
RESOLVED THAT the next such election shall be on February 1st, 2000.
RESOLVED THAT no person shall be kept from running on the basis that he or she has served in the Parliament or any other post in the previous two months.
RESOLVED THAT the next Parliament shall consist of 7 people, giving more people an opportunity to participate in Government.
RESOLVED THAT should a Parliament vote come out tied due to one or more members abstaining or being absent, that vote shall be read as a "nay".
RESOLVED THAT should a Parliament vote end out with more members voting Yea than Nay, that vote shall be counted as "Yea" even should a majority of members fail to vote for it.
RESOLVED THAT all votes shall be by simple majority. No vote shall require a 2/3, ¾, or any other majority to pass.
RESOLVED THAT though the Social Act declared Silika an official language, no Acts of Parliament shall be accepted written in it.
RESOLVED THAT it is up to the member who proposes an act to make sure all appropriate people vote on it and that there is a proper amount of debate.
