Say the word Agility, and Border Collies and Jack Russell Terriers  immediately come to mind. In the larger dog divisions where the GSD competes, the Border Collie reigns supreme. The great thing about agility , however,  is that even if you don't "win", you can still win! Not too many things in life can say that. Even though you may not have the top combination of fastest time/least penalties, if you can meet a certain qualifying score, you and your dog can earn your agility title!

As Service Dog Breeders and Competitors, we find Agility to be an indispensable part of our training...no other single activity gives back so much...the dog learns attention, co-ordination, confidence, directional training, obedience commands and trust in the handler, all in a happy, upbeat positive re-inforcement setting.

Agility is a recreational and training tool we greatly encourage our puppy owners to take up. Even as pups, there are many non-strenuous, ground work laying, fun things puppies can do...the tunnel, walking over strange flooring material, and of course, start learning the dreaded weave poles, the epitome of the trained agility dog...dog agility is the fastest growing dog activity in North America...we can tell you why in 2 words...
