We started out by passing a little time, during which the party negotiated territory boundaries with an adventurer group called Kortan's Band who had moved into a small ruin ~300m from Wyrmsjaw while the party was out, and had shot at the Neepspawn trollkin when they got close. The gang wanted a 50m radius of exclusive territory around their shelter and agreed to grant you the same. You had a little feast with them at Wyrmsjaw later; they aren't too chummy but are better neighbors than most. They consist of a rough Heortlander warrior, a bison rider woman, a shifty newtling (sans tail), a shifty giggling Pavisite, a younger shifty Pavisite, a gruff impala brave, and an even gruffer ironbound dwarf soldier. No problems since your arrangement. They seem to be exploring the local rubble for loot and are an experienced group.
Tison wrangled enough money to buy the Alcrydyrr out from under Griselda's button-nose, although Tarranyr was misled about her anticipated bid on the item by about 2400L (she bid 10,100 when he guessed 12,000, thus Tison bidded 2400). No hard feelings from Griselda really, and she bought Dorgon's firespear.
Next, Dorgon and Tarranyr heroquested to become Cleansed One initiates (Caernak and Che'en helped to talk Dorgon into worshipping a born-again-broo). I'll let them tell their story in their own words. Dorgon got a cool spell.
Then you visited Windwhistler and learned that Magnus Pike was a descendant of Yamsur the Splendid's line, which was almost exterminated in the Dragonkill War. This explains the enmity between Magnus and The One, perhaps. Windwhistler thought that the only way to get peace between the dome and the one would be to have the two of them slug it out to the death.
Finally, you ventured to Five Eyes. Along the way, you managed to alert a newtling village that Magnus was coming to cut their tails off, and you heard the echoing song of a Storm Khan's (Ankubi) victory over Muriah from the cliffs of Ronegarth. The terror of the Witch Queen is ended!
At 5 eyes, you met the odd assemblage of draconic beings that live there-- ~300 warlike newtlings, ~40 scout dnewts, a visiting wyrm from Dragon Pass (called Heir of Flame), a magisaur priest of Zola Fel (i.e. a SIZ 40 intelligent duckbill dino), the other 4 warrior dnewts that serve The One (not talkative), "Master Insight" the mysterious noble dnewt advisor to The One, and of course good ol Five Eyes himself. There's also an intelligent, carnivorous, magic-using Triceratops in the 5 eyes fort that is called "the beast buster", reserved for nomad and other mounted confrontations. Yikes.
Negotiations turned out to go very well! Tison spoke for the group to Master Insight, who seemed to communicate with him and the one through a mixture of Tradetalk, Auld Wyrmish, emotions, gestures, and scents. Worked quite nicely for Tison. The One will be left alone in his territory (any trespassers become prey), the river will send him a Speaker for 1 full year at a time (may not leave the boundaries) -- of course Tison will be the Speaker, and the river will bring peace offerings worth 1500L/yr (1000 from Zola Fel, 500 from you). In return, The One (and probably his underlings) grant their brute force against the common foes of the river and dragon, and will not eat riverfolk anymore. The Speaker will be built a floating hut in the newtling marsh-village where he can do as he pleases as long as he doesn't leave for 1 full year. More little details were worked out. Master Insight was quite pleased that you were so kind as to offer to feed Magnus Pike to The One (you offered it as a duel, but The One obviously just sees it as mealtime).
You finished negotiations and left northward to Dyskund, when we stopped.
