Pavis news of the nomads!

One more interesting tidbit, or headline rather. Word has reached Pavis now (as of around ZF holy day) that Jaldon's Horde and Argrath White Bull attacked Sartar earlier this season. It did not go well for them. Tatius the Bright (Lunar priest leader recently eaten by the Brown Dragon when it rose) had left them a surprise. Details are hazy as there were few survivors. Word has it that a great demon with two arms, and an extra invisible one, was unleashed as they crossed the boundary from Prax to Sartar. Those few whom it did not consume were left to the hyenas.

The glory of the Praxian nomads has fallen. A large percentage of the clans is now scattered or extinct. The Storm Bull cult is all but dead in Prax, and a generation of warriors is wiped out.

Meanwhile, in Sartar battles rage around Boldhome the capitol and elsewhere. Tarshite forces have moved in from the west and occupied Sartarite lands nearby. Civil war is in full swing and no one know who is winning.

King Broyan, hero of Whitewall and Heortland, had marched north toward Sartar with a small volunteer army to see how he could help his brethren there. But among his enemies back home, the Kitori clan who worked with trolls, a little bright light was snuffed out, and a demon which had many sharp mouths was let out of its skin. It sought vengeance, and fell upon the army of King Broyan while they slept. The king could not keep it away, as he had promised the City of Wonders as reward for Harrek the Berserk's service, and thus betrayed his country. [The City of Wonders, magical floating capitol of the whole Holy Country, vanished from the world earlier this year when Harrek raided it] Thus Broyan and his army were killed.
