Passing Time

I assume you are mostly sticking around the fort/barge until the Zola Fel HD, when (I assume) you will attend the ceremony at the Barge, meet the new Reverend Shurahka, and then go to Puzzle Canal to inspect Lacuna Morada (but no plan to circumnavigate the canal, and it's unlikely you will try to do anything big w/Lacuna; just gathering intelligence?).

Caernak gets a response back from Brighteye around day 31, then from Sa'ar near the end of day 33: Brighteye: All initiates except the few Caernak has directly taken under his wing (Greyreed, Sorex, Gulo, Harmast) need to meet Brighteye at the pool on the holy day for induction into the subcult. Shurahka and Caernak will lead the four others in Pavis on their own quest in the Keelmarsh by Ogre Island. As for Lacuna Morada, he is concerned but likewise has no new information about her. Zola Fel has been mute about her nature; the Canal hides her. Was there something else you asked?

Sa'ar: He has sent your gifts upriver and they will be presented for him by Che'enshashan at the holy day. Corflu is doing OK so far. He too cannot see more into Lacuna Morada's nature. He agrees that the Canal's magic obfuscates everything about her. Anything else?

Che'en: Did we conduct that divination for him? If I remember, we did and he also found out nothing.

Other meetings:

Tison gets an appointment with Fleeter Nemm in New Pavis during this time and they have a brief, friendly and formal chat. Fleeter recommends that all of Tison's/the party's matters be handled with Bendrath. He is immensely occupied with major tasks restructuring and resurrecting the city. He says that one of his goals is to tie the closest allies of the city even closer, which includes mainly Zola Fel, Orlanth, Ernalda, Issaries, Yelorna, and the elves (dwarves are already very tight with Pavis). Heroquesting and mundane diplomacy conducted by the city officials will carry out these goals over time. He has high hopes for the future of Free Pavis despite its present ails, and wishes you well. He will be listening for more news of your mighty deeds.

Tison gets an appointment with Ettir for after the Zola Fel holy day; on day 40.

Any other meetings desired?

Elohwyn is spending lots of time at the Vinga temple but has just found help, another younger Daughter of Vinga named Kardala Eight-Knives, on the run from Lunars in Sartar after many robberies and killings she conducted there. The two of them are two of the most beautiful women in Pavis, although word has it that Kardala scorns affection and is obsessed with her murderous hatred of Lunars.

Troll attacks continue over the next few days sporadically, and so do counterstrikes by Pavic allied forces. Now and then you can see skirmishes raging all over the Rubble. Even still, the troll presence is more obvious than normal; even in the day they can be moving about in many groups around the Rubble. Their numbers continue to swell as trolls come from Dagori Inkarth and lands around it. Citizens are very concerned: the trolls are clearly building up as the city weakens. Three weeks remain in Dark season, and there is no good reason that the trolls could not assault in Storm Season either.

The famine continues but does not worsen greatly. People are dying and riots continue, but aid from many allies and quests is pouring in steadily. It still looks very bad, as the harvest is many seasons away and most stocks are depleted.

Punt and Windwhistler drop by the fort once more each during this time. Punt sleeps near the front gate, snoring loudly.
