1. Arcus's family (now back in Pavis at his home safely, I am assuming) includes his wife Taenia and their child (name/gender? up to you Dave). Taenia's father is Dagis, a poor fisherman from Corflu whom the party met loooong ago after they were washed up on a mudflat near Corflu with strange tattoos... Dagis is a large, overweight old Mru (~45 now); uneducated and simple, usually speaks monosyllabically with "Yup," "Mebbe so," or "Nope." He just fishes for a living and likes it. No aspirations or influential contacts, but he knows the common folk around Corflu well enough. His best chum is Sarky, another Mru fisherman who is nearsighted (always squinting), talks as if he's been everywhere and done anything (but has not), and fancies himself a linguist (but knows only Boatspeech, Trade, New Pelorian, Praxian and Pavic, mostly quite poorly). Thus in answer to previous question, Arcus's father-in-law Dagis is not a merchant of any sort, but he's a nice guy.
2. Caernak's wife Dori Surelure is a Chalanna Arroy initiate from Waterby; her father is Sokast Surelure, a middle-class Pavic citizen and Waterby businessman (ran farming/fishing/trading post). IIRC, he survived the Bat and is back in the Pavis area. Good contact for very general trade activities in Pavis county, but not the guy to talk to about arms shipments, magic items, etc. Just small trades of mundane useful goods and food. He's been helping lately with food shipments from downriver to Pavis.
3. Jalid Ingilli is one of the younger, more visible and approachable heads of the Ingilli family and you know him (he tried to get Caernak to marry his daughter Hedina). You know several other members of the Ingilli family casually. Ghanara "the ghoul" Eberhell is the family solicitor who deals with most contacts and makes appointments; he is clammy and cold like the undead he is jokingly named after. Or like a fish. (Padrone) Scharman Ingilli is the old head of the family, very rich and influential, and a pal of Hallarax the Singer, head of the Riverman's guild and former pro-lunar. Both are good chums of Che'enshashan; Che'en is tight with the Ingillis.
4. At the Temple Barge, Che'en is served by She'ella, Ch'achi, and Te'e, three newtling acolytes who are his "yes-men" and you have dealt with them a lot. They are even less useful than Che'en, except in finding him and securing appointments with him. That they're good at. And they are good trainers of swimming, fishing, Ceremony, etc.; typical cult skills.
Another newtling there is called Teuche'esta ("Tow", they call him for short), and he is an older bachelor newtling who is reknown as a champion swimmer and spear fisher. A touch of class, too; he is wealthy and respected and skilled.
5. Hriss and Bro are the proprietors of the Golden Dolphin, now rebuilt with cult assistance and operating back at full steam ahead.
6. Finally, an initial description of the NEW Priestess of Zola Fel in Pavis!!!! Excitement will build. This will be huge news to you all.
Her (not his; my bad) name is Shurahka the Steady. She is an Old Pavisite by birth, and widely-traveled. She has actually been a priestess of the river cult for many years (age 33 now), but was off in Dragon Pass and Prax visiting other rivers for the last 15 years (conveniently leaving shortly before the fall of Prax at Moonbroth). She knows the rivers from Kralorela to Dragon Pass's Creekstream River (The Dragon River, or just The River; said to be the first and largest of all rivers), and has come back with much knowledge from these waters. She is also a scholar of Lhankor Mhy, specializing in River Lore, and an old friend of Shennin Ashal. You've all heard her name mentioned before, but have never met her. Che'en tells you all this, and that she has already passed the rites to become a Cleansed One cultist. Yes, she'll be a new priest of the Cleansed One subcult, stationed here in Pavis!
When and where can you meet her? How can you learn more?
Che'en says that she is buried away in research for the heroquesting that the cult will undertake to bring more food to the people of Pavis. The main quest is "The Pact with the Fish Tribe." It has not been conducted since the trolls took over Pavis centuries ago, so it needs to be rediscovered and prepared for. Except for prayer support lent by the common people of the cult, it is a single-person quest meant for priests only, so your help is not needed. Che'en says that she sends her best wishes to you and will meet you later this year once she is installed as Reverend Shurahka of the Temple Barge. You sense some tension in his description of her, maybe jealousy or contempt?
