Eric:
One thing tison asks mr C if he could do (as our esteemed leader, the lunars said so) is ask the coders if they could help us get the descond caverns exploration report. This is of obvious great inportance to the river, we are lunar friends (grin) and we did share information with the expedition. If the coders can not help, maybe he can talk military man eto military man to what's his face the expedition leader?
John:
Caernak speaks to Julan about this a few days after the mission. Julan says that he cannot divulge classified Lunar information, and those documents are such information, but Caernak should speak with Dalamides Alveticus man-to-man. Caernak does that (I'm moving things along here, sorry) and this is what he is told over an ale at Moonlighter's pub:
"The place is amazing and horrible, indeed. We explored the southern caverns [where you looked about] and found nothing [like you], then maneuvered through the eastern edge [where you saw dragonsnails]. We never found the crystal garden; I think it's underwater and very hard to reach through the dragonsnail hordes. We took notes on the Vivamort shrine but as you know it seems inaccessible. The crystal sepulchres contain what you probably think they do; 12 vampires in stasis. We didn't inquire further
. We broke off the mission when we came close to the "fertile source" place (I think) because walktapi, gorp, and dragonsnails galore started coming out of nooks and crannies. That was northwest of everything else [you never got close]. There is still much left to be explored but we have lost interest. The remaining caves are either submerged and crawling with slime-beasties or blocked by chasms or other obstacles. I wouldn't risk my men further; we got the job done. Oh yes, I've heard that a while after we left, nomad riders razed the Pola Stead. Don't know what happened to those nice people, but that stead was burned to the ground. Tough place to make a living."
