By the time the others made it to Lance’s house JC was already extremely tipsy. Lance had tried to convince him to wait until the other’s arrived so he could enjoy Joey and Justin’s birthday party, but he said the call of the tequila was too strong. It was tequila which was now prompting him to serenade everyone with a slightly slurred version of “Margaritaville”.
Nibblin' on sponge cake
Watchin' the sun bake
All of those tourists covered with oil
Strummin' my six-string
On my front porch swing
Smell those shrimp they're beginnin' to boil
Wastin' away again in Margaritaville
Searching for my lost shaker of salt
Some people claim that there's a man to blame
But I know it's nobody's fault
“You know the line is actually ‘Some people claim that there’s a woman to blame’, don’t ya C?” Justin asked with an amused grin. JC’s being drunk guaranteed they would all get a show later on as he tried to seduce Lance in front of them. Ever since the two had gotten together at Lance’s eighteenth birthday party, they could all count on JC getting extremely loving whenever he was drunk. Lance would try to resist, but they all knew Lance couldn’t tell JC ‘no’ for very long.
“Why would I blame a woman?” JC asked seriously. “Unless it’s Bobbie and she knew she was a beard. I know I told her and I don’t understand why she forgot.”
The five of them settled into the living room, everyone with a drink in hand and caught up on what had been going on since they last got together. The hiatus was allowing all of them to branch out and do their own thing, but the downside was they didn’t get the chance to be together very often. So when all five of them were together, it was a major occasion they all savored.
Once they had all caught up on everyone’s individual projects and all five of them were pleasantly buzzed, except for JC who was well on his way to very drunk, they started to discuss what they wanted to do for the rest of the night. DVD’s and video games were quickly vetoed and Lance refused to let anyone go into the pool after they had been drinking. It was Chris who decided they should play Truth or Dare. The rest of them were just drunk enough to agree without any complaints. The usual questions and dares were quickly dispensed with as they all got into the spirit of the game.
“Justin. Truth or dare?” Lance asked from within the circle of JC’s arms.
“Dare. Hit me with your best shot Baby.” Justin said with a cocky grin.
Lance grinned evilly before saying calmly, “Call up Johnny and ask him, without laughing, ‘Who’s Your Daddy?’”
“Lance . . .It’s two o’clock in the morning. Johnny will kill me!” Justin whined.
“You’re the one who chose dare J. You chickening out now?” Lance asked, knowing Justin would never allow himself to be called a chicken.
“No. I’ll do it.” Justin pouted but pulled out his cell phone reluctantly. He looked up one more time to see if Lance would change his mind, but Lance just looked at him with a smirk. They all knew it was one of the best dares any of them had come up with in a long time. Johnny was tolerant of them a lot of the time, but hated to be woke up especially for something like this.
They could all tell when Johnny picked up the phone because Justin’s face went bright red before he cleared his throat and said in his deepest voice, “Who’s Your Daddy?” and then quickly hung up. A few seconds later, Justin’s cell phone rang causing him to jump in shock before hitting the send button and reluctantly saying “hello.”
“You really shouldn’t make prank phone calls from your own cell phone if you don’t want to be discovered Justin.” Johnny’s voice boomed through the phone. “Would you like to explain yourself and apologize to my wife for waking her up as well as myself?”
“Johnny, I’m really sorry. I’m sorry I woke both of you up. I have no excuse for my behavior and I can only hope you can forgive me.” Justin said meekly. One of the rules they had set up for Truth or Dare in the beginning was you were never allowed to use it as an excuse if you were caught doing something. The rule was set up the first time Lou punished all of them for disturbing him in the middle of the night with Lance running down a hotel hallway singing on a dare. Luckily, Lou never peeked his head out to see Lance was only inadequately covered with his own hands doing it.
“I’m positive it isn’t only your fault so I’m going to let it go this time. Just make sure it doesn’t happen again and make sure all your partners in drunkenness are told as well.” Johnny said, fighting to keep the amusement out of his voice.
“Of course. I’m really sorry and I’ll make sure they all know. Have a good night Johnny.” Justin said softly, happy he wasn’t being yelled at. He hung up the phone and then turned to look at the others who were all wearing amused faces. “He said since I wasn’t alone in my prank he was letting it go this time, but my partners in drunkenness had better make sure it doesn’t happen again.”
“Of man, how did he know we were involved?” Joey asked with a whine in his voice.
“Maybe because he knew the five of us were getting together tonight to party and he has heard from all the bodyguards and members of the crew about the pranks that go on when you all have been drinking.” Lance said as if he had never been apart of the pranks in the past. He only grinned when he saw the four looks directed his way.
“It’s your turn J.” Chris said, choosing to ignore Lance.
“Joey. Truth or dare?” Justin asked, also choosing to ignore Lance’s words.
“Truth. I don’t want to get your retaliatory dare.” Joey said with a smug grin.
After a moment of thinking, Justin looked at Joey with a smug grin of his own. “What is your biggest secret that none of us know?”
Joey closed his eyes in dread, knowing he was going to tell the truth and hope for the best. “My biggest secret is I’m in love with Chris.” Joey said in a low, rushed voice, keeping his head down so he didn't have to see anyone’s reaction. He could hear the gasps though and one “awww” coming from JC who thought the whole world should be in love like he was.
For his part, Chris was sitting stunned a couple of feet from Joey, playing the words over and over in his head to make sure he hadn’t gotten them wrong. After a minute of contemplation, he smiled and attacked, pushing Joey down onto the ground and sprawling over him. Once Chris had Joey pinned down, he wasted no time in attaching his lips to the younger mans.
Their first kiss started off softly, a tentative exploration of each others lips. Then Joey allowed his lips to drop open slightly and Chris took the opening to plunge his tongue into Joey’s mouth where their tongues battled each other. Neither was aware of the other three in the room watching in fascination.
Justin’s moan and whining about how he was the only one who wouldn’t get laid tonight were ignored as the two started grinding against each other as they continued kissing each other deeply.
Chris pulled back just long enough to gasp “Love you too” before going back to kissing Joey senseless. Their hands were already working at each other’s clothes in desperation and after taking one last look, JC and Lance pulled Justin off the floor and offered to keep him warm for the night.
“Are you two sure?” Justin asked hopefully.
“You don’t have to be alone.” JC sung with a giggle as Lance just pulled JC and Justin with him towards the bedroom wanting to give Chris and Joey some privacy. He figured Joey had just gotten the best birthday present from Chris and now it was time to make sure Justin had a good birthday present as well.
