All letters should be in full block format. The format learned in this class.
Spell check your work.


Part 1
Letter A (10 points) (save as: Letter Test 1a)
Write a letter to a person who has applied for an accounting position at your firm. In the first paragraph inform the applicant that the position has already been filled. Also, let them know that their resume looked very impressive.
In the second paragraph, inform the applicant that there may be another book keeping job coming open next month and ask if they would like to be considered for that position. Also, request a response within the next two weeks.
In the third paragraph, thank them for their application and tell them that you are hoping to hear from them very soon.

Letter B  (10 points) (save as: Letter Test 1b)
Write a letter for the applicant mentioned in Part 1a. You are now the applicant and are responding to the letter above. In the first paragraph inform the firm that you either accept or reject the invitation to be an applicant for the bookkeeping job. In the second paragraph tell them the reason for your decision. In the third paragraph thank them appropriately for their kind offer.
Part 2
Letter  C (10 points) (save as: Letter Test 2a)
Write a letter to a company requesting a refund for a product that you purchased that was defective. In the first paragraph tell them what the product was, when you bought it, where you bought it, how much you paid for it, and what was wrong with the product. In the second paragraph tell them what you want done to correct the problem. In the third paragraph tell them you expect to hear from them soon and thank them for taking care of the problem.

Letter D  (10 points) (save as: Letter Test 2b)
Write a letter addressed too:
Mrs. Carolyn Fredrick, Principal
Paradise High School
5911 Maxwell Drive
Paradise, CA 95969

In paragraph one describe your likes and dislikes high school experience.
In paragraph two include some changes you would like to see at Paradise High School.
In paragraph three thank Mr. Dixon for his time and for his work at PHS.
