Accidentally Shot
Dr. T.B. Hinson was called to Putman, a few days ago, to assist Dr. Leatherock in surgery. Mr. Branham handled a shot gun carelessly and the trigger hit a table leg. The whole charge went through his left side just missing his heart. It was an awful wound and Drs. Hinson and Leatherock removed a large portion of flesh and a rib. Mr. Branham will recover.

ACCIDENTALLY SHOT
Theo. Branham, living three and a half miles northeast of town was perhaps fatally shot through
the left lung Wednesday morning. It seems that Mr. Branham and his wife were out milking when a
hawk flew over and Mr. Branham ran to the house to get his gun. Mrs. Branham heard a shot, but
supposing he had shot at the hawk, finished milking the cows and then went to the house. She found
Mr. Branham laying in the kitchen shot as above stated. It is supposed that in taking the gun from
the rack it was discharged. Dr. Leatherock was called to attend the wonded man, but as he is advanced
in years and in poor health it is thought he cannot recover. --Putnam Pioneer.

Kansas on January 17, 1948. Her husband Lloyd Reddick, was am employee of
Phillips Petroleum. She traveled with her husband for several years from
Alaska to Houston, Texas. She was a cheerful and friendly person who made
many friends. Sadie was an excellent seamstress and did needlework. She
Looked forward to having her nieces and nephews come and visit during the
summer.
Sadie was a member of the Christian Church, and belonged to several clubs
where she made many friends.

Funeral arrangements were with the Minton/Chatwell Funeral Home at
Borger, Texas with burial at the Beaver Pioneer Cemetery, Beaver, Ok under
the direction of the Clark Funeral Home.
This is a poem read at her funeral.
The world is a better place because of Aunt Jane's goodness and grace. With a
quick wink and a ready smile, We always knew she'd go that extra mile. Each
niece and nephew was special to her, She loved us all - that was for sure.
She always had a story to tell, or maybe a little pun Of "her kids" little
sayings or the funny things they'd done. Her hands were always busy doing
things for others: No job was to big or too little for her endeavors. She loved
a good joke and sometime pranks, But for every act of kindness given her, she
was filled with thanks.
There are so many memories too numerous to name, But the game of "Hand and
Foot", that was her call to fame. She was not only an Aunt, but a dear friend
as well, We will always remember her with fond affection to tell. God needed
Aunt Jane for His work to be done, An angel she'll be and they will have so much
fun. Aunt Jane, we love you and we will miss you, but we understand That God
only takes the best - and you were GRAND!

Recollections:
There was a tornado one year, mom and Ival had went to town to visit and shop.
When they saw the storm coming they all closed all the doors and windows
upstairs then crowded into the cellar. The house was blown away.
Every night John William Branham would put his pants on the back of a chair at night.
Well a tornado came along one night and blew his pants into a tree.
This storm broke off the porch and moved the house but left the porch alone.
The school house used to be next to the Farmer Cemetery. Us kids used to
through flowers down the old well. The well was near Ival's grave. The school
house was on the west edge of the grave yard.
