2003  BO'S OUTLAWS  PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Offensive Player of the Week (4/13 - 4/19)
joaquin DENOYA
After missing Game 4, and coming off the bench in Game 5, Denoya returned to the starting lineup against HKSA and immediately made his presence felt. The lean, mean, Argentine machine dropped in 13 points, including a three-pointer and a pair of free throws. But Denoya's contributions weren't simply in the points department. He also registered an assist, a pair of offensive and defensive rebounds, three steals, and a memorable block on a fast break opportunity. Denoya's relentless energy guaranteed a fifth win for the Outlaws..

Defensive Player of the Week (4/13 - 4/19)

vi NGUYEN

How did HKSA only manage to score 10 points in the second half after recording 18 in the first? The flexibility of the Flying Vi in the 2-3 zone helped stymie a second-half HKSA scoring barrage. Nguyen finished with four defensive rebounds and a pair of steals, as well as eight points, two offensive rebounds, and an assist. But aside from stats, Nguyen's work with Joaquin Denoya, Alejandro Jaramillo, Mike Gratton, and Chris Harisis down the stretch perplexed HKSA enough to ensure a key victory. Nguyen's inside-outside presence in the zone played a large role in generating the pivotal defensive stops.

Sixth Man of the Week (4/13 - 4/19)

alejandro JARAMILLO

After Jaramillo's level of play against HKSA, it was still hard to believe he had played in only one previous game. Yet Dr. Alej shook off any rust and wound up leading the team in assists with two, while also chipping in a defensive rebound and a steal. But without Jaramillo's relentless work down the stretch, the Outlaws may not have won their fifth game of the season. Jaramillo took charge on defense, solidifying the core of the 2-3 zone. He also displayed his well-received generosity on offense, opting to slow things down and find the open man, resulting in 19 second-half points for the Outlaws.
