Why Day of the Dragon was Canceled
A Novel by Warbane

Monday, August 12: I was to hold the beta for Day of the Dragon at 8:00 PM.  At 7:45 I was doing some finishing touches on the map when my computer crashes and does not wish to start up again.  Much profanity ensued.

Tuesday, August 13th: I take my computer to an electronics repair place downtown and ask them to get it working again.  They say it will take almost a week to get my computer back.  More profanity ensues.

Monday, August 19th: I feel lucky when I get a call saying I can come pick up my computer.  I pick it up and bring it back home.  Everything seems to be working again, so I start up WorldEditor and try to open Day of the Dragon.  The file is corrupted and cannot be recognized by WorldEdit.  I spend much of the day trying to decorrupt it.

Tuesday, August 20th: Day of the Dragon cannot be decorrupted.  I have only 2 days before I ship my computer to college, where I will not be bringing Warcraft III.  Day of the Dragon will not be completed.  Mild profanity ensues until I realize it's just a map.
