Dark Matter is a pretty solid game. The graphics are sharp and the story is impressive. You star as Dirk (no, not Diggler), a character that lives in a Mad Maxish type of world and is kidnapped and brought to a underground computer of some type. As the game progresses, you can see the creator took a lot of time to make the demo available and the final product should be enjoyable.

Sound
The midis go great with the game and give you the futuristic punk feel that they creator was going for.

Graphics
Those future graphics we see everywhere were used to make this game. They aren't the best, but work well with the theme of this game.

Difficulty
The battle system seems ok, but sometimes it's hard to figure out what to do next. But with a little patience, most can figure it out.

Story
The future thing has been done to death and had it's time to shine in the 80's. With that being said, the theme is kind of played out. But this one does have it's qualities that make it stand out.
