Glyhpis are three fonts inspired by the "ancient writing" in the Necronomicon Ex Mortis of the Evil Dead movies and Army of Darkness fame. They are NOT the writing of those books, but loosely inspired by the style. I'll go into the how's and why's below if you are interested.
There are three fonts because that's how many glyphs I had. Every glyph is accessible in one of the three fonts, though the first, Glyphis1, contains all the glyphs mapped to various diacriticized letters common in some languages. Those using Russian, and other Slavic languages, Japanese or Chinese keyboards, and various other language assignments MAY be able to access all glyphs using only Glyphis1 - I don't know, as I'm not terribly familiar with those systems.
If you have any comments or criticisms, or neat uses for the glyphs, or just want to say how neat I am ;), plesase do contact me at the email address below.

I am a practicing pagan and Chaos Magician. I also roleplay, primarily in the Worlds of Darkness and in my DIY system called Aisling (read the Books of DeLint or Windling, or Barker's "Imajica" for a sense of the world). These fonts, while used for various wizard's grimoires in those world-settings, originally were created for my own actual grimoires. In the original font (before it was lost due to a hard drive crash in 1998), each glyph represented a concept, and stringing together the glyphs served to create the magic. To be technical, each glyph still represents a concept - though I'll let you decide what concept goes with which glyph for yourself. I really liked the style of writing in the Necronomicon Ex Mortis (what a bad name for a book - the Collection of Dead Things of the Dead?!) so I studied the style and created all my own glyphs from scratch, in the style of those glyphs.
I am also a font-o-phile, and am interested in writing systems of every kind (I speak 6 languages, including Mandarin Chinese), so I am willing to take on people's personal projects. Contact me for details with a brief description of what you're trying for, and we'll see if we can work something out. Keep in mind, I am a busy person (I'm working on my masters in Oriental medicine), so be aware that I can't take on every single case - but try anyway, You never know.

By the Way, I am in the middle of legally changing my name, hence the weirdnesses in the copyright form.
