*How
to get a
Yahoo! ID!*
Many
of us seem to be having problems with (a) getting a yahoo ID and (b) linking it
to your address
*What
does that mean?*
OK, picture that an
RPG is a members only club. You can't get in without flashing your ID; before
you can flash your ID you need to get an ID. So you apply for one, but your ID
is useless without a photo or description of you that associates you with your
ID.
With Yahoo! Your ID
is a name or word; unfortunately there are so many people around the world with
yahoo! IDs that most of the good words and almost all of the names are taken. So
you have to choose something original that no one else has. Your name and sir
name is a good idea, but I'll leave that to you.
Once you have an ID
you still need to link your ID with you, the way to do this is to link your ID
with your e-mail Address, after all, to yahoo you are an e-mail address*
*Your
e-mail address is what is a member of the RPG, you only get your group mail
because you are the owner of your e-mail address. For all yahoo knows James T.
Kirk could be receiving the mail posted to [email protected].
*How
do I do this?*
*Get
yourself an ID:*
