Mairi stepped lightly along the hall to Prof. Sinistra's classroom. Reaching the tapestry to the left of the wall, she stopped, listening for footsteps. When she was sure there was no one around, she lifted the tapestry and blew out the candle in the mural behind it. After a second, the mural swung open to reveal a descending staircase. Extracting her wand from the mess her satchel was in, she touched her robes and giggled "Speedo bikinius." Immediately she was wearing an adorable two-piece swimsuit. Pulling a huge beach towel out of her bag, she slung it over her shoulder and began to run down the stairs.

After following Mairi, roz had got suspicious when she changed in to a swim suit she stopped the dorr with her hand and begged Mairi to teach her the spell! "K, so I just say "Speedo bikinius and imaging a cute costume, cool it worked" Added Roz who now had the most gorgeous baby blue bikini with a string top. "Where do you learn these spells, Mairi, and where ever it is take me there!"Laughed Roz as she slipped into the deepend of the pool looking around and seeing that it was basically desert with her Mairi, two nervous second years and a mysterious lad in the corner"Mmmm, mairi who's that?"she asked "I've just been wonderin that myself." mairi added conjuring a sun lounger outta thin air. Roz reached for her wand (whitch she took everywhere!) and called accio towel within a couple of second it came soaring through the door "Mind that for me" roz said at the same time as an unknown voice spoke"you better hope no-one saw that coming" they said Roz spun round as fast as she could(which isn't very fast when your up to your chest in luke-warm water) and saw "Oh, hi!"

Slipping her sunglasses on her head, Mairi looked over at the mystery gentleman in the deep end. She tried to catch his eye, but he was too interested in the underwater bubbles he was creating with his wand. "Men," she sighed. Reclining on her beach chair, she flipped idly through a copy of Witch Weekly. "Roz, come look at these cute new robe styles! This season they're actually sewing the scarf onto the top of the robe...now is that adorable or what?"

"Mmhmm"Roz replied vagely, whoever had spoken had totally disappeared"I totally agree"she added, not even registering the fact that Mairi was trying to grab her attention, who was that.Roz got herself so worked up"It's so unair!" she moaned "It's not like we can just go up and ask him whop he is, can we! We have to know if we know him or not"

After blowing out the candle in the picture. Orchid steped through the tapestry into the dark stone passageway. "umm.. now what was that charm in the book?? Oh Yes! Speedo bikinius!" Orchid was suddenly wearing a very cute, violet0magenta one peice that had a straight neck line no sleeves and a cute eye slit right above the bre**ts (i didn't wanna ofFnd anybody.) Orchid then using her own spell 'Magikus apperinois dryus' made a towel appear wrapped around her waist. She then walked down the corridor, till she finnally reached the doorway to the swimming pool. but before entering she mumbled a simple glamour charm spell 'simpleous hairyous bunious' and her hair suddenly twisted it-self in a perfect bun sitting high up on her head-not that high but at the top of the back of her head- she then walked into the pool room. she unwrapped her towel from her waist. and hung it onto one of the golden bar racks on the wall. "Oh hi guys, I didn't know you would be here. Just practicing for the wizard olympics. I hope i can represent england for the swimming competition." Orchid said noticing Roz and a girl she never saw before laying in swim chairs aside the pool. Orchid then walked over to the high dive which reached up to a 5 meter spring board height. ' if i can't master the 3 and a 1/2 jump, then i'll never make it to the 5 meter spring board,n and with out the spring board i'll never stand a chance' Orchid thought looking up at the highest point on the diveing board then slowly working her way up the ladder to the 4 meter balance. She stood on the hard blue stone balance. she then Raised her selgf into position arms up and feet pressed into arch and then with a leap off of the balance. She performed a perfect body spin into a twist. Orchid swam over to the ladder and climbed back up to the 4 metter balance again repeating the twist into a dive. this action repeated for thev next hour, with orchid performing different and various dives with roxz and he friend watchng. after an hour she swanm to the ladder then retreved her towel 'Accio towel' she dryed her self only partiatly. then she walked over to roz "what did ya think?" Orchid asked her now loose bun bobbing atop her heaD.

In a secluded dungeon, Icarus Nauseum hatches an evil plan. He'll kill two birds with one stone - finally get to work on his backstroke, and wipe the vampires from Hogwarts forever. "Evil can be soo satistying!" He chuckles to himself.

Mairi looked up from her magazine. "Mmmmm? Oh, it was great. Just keep practicing, I'm sure you'll get to, ah, wherever it is you wanted to go. Swimming competition, was it? Here," she offered her the magazine, "take a look at these new swimsuit styles. Very nice - and they come with a Stationary charm so the bottoms can't slip off. I'm thinking of getting one for my cousin, Kerry. Think she'll like the blue?"

"Ignore her, they were really good where did you learn to do them? Umm, think you copuld teach me a few basics? I can dive, just nuffin' fancy, a basic high dive.I'd love to lean some turns and stuff but I'm too afraid of doing it wrong. I couldn't find anyone who knew how so they could tell me what I was doing wrong but you could couldn't you? Oh Mairi don't be like that!Oh for heavens sake, up for a swim Orchid?"

A small cat slips into the pool room. Padding up to the edge of the pool, it leans over to sniff the water. Blinking, it backs up and walks out again.
A few minutes later, Gloria comes into the room. "So, Orchid, dear, how's the water?"

Mairi sighed. "I am not 'being like that.' I am just offering a simple opinion as to what she should wear to the big competition. You know, looking your best is part of feeling your best, and if you feel your best then you'll do your best. Or at least that's what my great-aunt Megan used to say." She looked over at Gloria. "Hi, I don't think we've met. I'm Mairi."

Orchid looks over at lucky disgusted. "Good you take you immature childish games else where? I am trying to help them with their dives." Orchid said pointing to the girls in the lawn chairs. " Oh, and i am kinda of partial to the pale blue with gold stars at the top" orchid said point out a one peice in the magazine. "Oh only 18 galleons! i'll have to get it. Why don't you stop by my dorm later and we can send out a order form." She then turned to the girl who needed help with her dives. "Okay come on well start with a basic dive, cuz' thats where everything screws up unless its perfect. Why don't you try it from the 2 meter spring board." The girl then walked over to the pull ladder and climbed up to the 2 meter. She then dived. "Okay don't curl your toes so much ,its not balet. and arch you back just a little bit more. and don't look at me look at the water, concentrate on you dive." The gurl then dived again. "much better. try it a few more times until you get used to it and i'll teach you the begginer twist. its really easy actually, it just looks hard." "okay' the gurl said to orchid as she walked over to the ladder and tryed diving again. and she didive after dive until orchid finnally thought that she was capable of a twist off of the 3 meter balance. "You jump in just as if were a dive and a little before halfway down you sort or spin your hips. And you body rotates once or twice. i spin 3 times but your a beginer. the problem with the twist is probley because its so hard to teach. you kind of just learn" Orchid said from the 3 meter balance. She then proceed to do a quite beautiful twist. "Okay i'll try but if i screw it up big time you can't laugh." the gurl said as she climbed up the ladder and then proceeded to do a very good twist for a beginer. "your alot better than you think, maybe we should move up to the 4 meter balance..."

Gloria looks over at Mairi and sighs. "Yeah, I don't think we have. I'm Gloria Abaris. A Slytherin." A small smile crosses her face. "A real Slytherin."

Ilana walks into the co-ed swimming pool, "Speedo bikinius" she says and at once she's changed into her violet white bikini, leaving her towel at the side, she jumps of the diving board and swims towards roz and mairi, "Wow, this pool is great, i can't believe i didn't find out before," She sees Mairi with her magazine, "Is that Witch Weekly don't they have them cute new fashion swim suits and robes in there this week?"

Gloria replies cleverly, side-stepping away from the edge of the pool."How's your leg?"She adds.Still wondering why Gloria, was being so nice Roz slinked away to the bathroom to wash her leg and hand."Hmmm, somethings up!"She told her reflection,"I just want to know what!"

Starisha came in from the Hospital Wing. She had a frown on her face. Starisha looked at the swimming pool and calmed down. Moon Light licked the water from the pool. "Hey you know better then that!" Starisha said, picking up Moon Light. Zooks meowed despately to get some water. Starisha frowned at Zooks and Moon Light was starting to hiss at him. "MOON LIGHT!!!" Starisha yelled at the cat. Feeling embrassed to yell at some cats she got Zooks some water. *Sigh* Starisha just was thinking of a way to get to New York. "Hmmmm..." She thought outloud.

Sabrina came down the staicase sporting a green swimsuit with silver straps and a large towel which, when she spread it out, turned out to have a green snake on it. She saw a group of girls chatting poolside and a solitary girl standing deep in thought less than a foot away from the deep end. She fought a short battle with her conscience (*You shouldn't do it. It's not right.* *Who cares? It'd be funny!* *No. I'm your conscience and I say no.* *Wait. I'm a Slytherin. Where did a conscience come from?* *Umm...don't ask questions.* ~POOF~) and walked softly towards the girl with a smile on her face. When she was about a foot and a half from her, she quickly raised her hands and pushed the other girl into the pool. Laughing hysterically, she turned around and saw a familiar face. "Hey! Gloria! What's happening?"

Zooks meowed feirously to get out of the water. "ZOOKS!" Starisha yelled at the drowning cat. Starisha grabed the cat and put him on the edge of the pool. Moon Light hissed at the girl who pushed Starisha. Starisha climbed out of the pool. "Yeah I'm fine. I need a change of clothes now!" Starisha said angirly. She calmed down the hissing cat. She checked Zooks to see if he was still alive. Moon Light put her ear on Zooks heart. Moon Light showed a sign that he was okay. Starisha had a half smile, but was angiry at the girl who push her over. Her face turned a pale pink. She was embrassed that someone did that to her.

"Blinkie hears the wishes for drinks. Blinkie brings all the drinks for the Misses." She blinks her large eyes and picks up the first glass.
"And which Miss is wishing for the Bloody Mary?"
All eyes turn to Orchid.

She took out her wand and changed her drenched clothes into a pretty bathing shuit. Starisha took Moon Light and Zooks over to a safe place. Then she went into the swimming pool with Roz and Ilana. "I wouldn't take that as a joke. Zooks could have drowned and he is not even mine!" Starisha told Roz and Ilana. "He got sent to me today by a friend of mine. She said that I got a part in a movie! I'm suposed to come to New York, but I don't know how... And Zooks here, is suposed to be my pet in the movie." She explain to them.

But I did order a Shirley Temple, thanks" Orchid says climbing up the ladder, and picking up aclass with orange contents. and taking a long drink. all eyes seemed to be watching her. "what! its pink lemonade with a cherry!" Orchid says setting the now empty class down on the try. thanks Blinkie, orchid says hand her a gold coin from her urse that laid on a near by table. Blinkie waves no and and shakes her head trying to give orchid back her coin. "no, really blinkie you can buy you a cute new pair of socks." Orchid says smiling and giving blinkie the coin a second time.

Blinkie is extremely chagrinned at having made such a mistake with Orchid's drink. However, she smiles when Gloria helps herself to the drink Binky believes was wished for by a powerful Slytherin: iced Poison Ivy Juice with a backscratcher swizzle-stick.
Trying to be inobtrusive, Blinkie quietly passes some drinks around as everyone resumes their conversation. She picks up a bowl of water and a bowl of fresh raw meat covered with a white lacy napkin and sets them down in front of the werewolf. She picks up a frozen Malotov Cocktail with a Wet-start Firecracker twist and looks for the next Slytherin without a drink...

Smiling gratefully at Shada for covering her blunder, Blinkie sets the Malotov Cocktail aside to await the next Slytherin, and picks up a Bubble-Pop, a pink drink in a tall glass that periodically blows rainbow bubbles up from its mouth. She adds a spike of Pepper-Up to it and quietly takes it to Starisha. "This warms Starish up,"she said concernedly. Starisha, an intelligent Hufflepuff, knows to wait between bubbles to take a sip so she doesn't get a large one up her nose.
Blinkie takes a small shot of Elixer of Life to Ilana Flamel, a Lion-hearted Lulu to Roz the Griffindor, and a Wize Old Howl (served with an eagle feather swizzlestick) to Mairi the Ravenclaw. Blinkie looks around expectantly for anyone else and spies Lucky, the 1st year Griffindor. She picks up his Scortch rocks/Water back and hands it over, hoping he will be able to handle it.

She grins and walks over to the other Slytherins.
"Hey, Gloria, Sabrina! Wazzup girlies?"

Gloria takes another sip of her iced Poison Ivy Juice and smiles at Verde.
"I'm fine, thanks. How are you? Oh, your hair's dyed? I thought it was naturally that color."

Verde runs her fingers through her bright green hair.
"Oh, I wish. But, no, I have to dye it to get it this color." She turns to the small house elf.
"Yo, Blinkie, over here!"

Lucky's cat walks in just before he does and walks over to Gloria and hisses at her!!!!Then Lucky calls "Narnia, you bad girl don't do that to Gloria......You know Gloria that my cat only hisses at other cats........very strange and Gloria why don't you tell us all how "COOL" you are?? Since the whole world surrounds you!!!!Watch this Gloria the Goat!!!!!!!"he steps up on the high does and does a back flip dive. Gloria thinks (to here self what a snob I can't believe he is Dumbledores grandson..)

"Blinkie is here, Miss," she answers, unobtrusively, standing right behind Verde with the Malotov Cocktail.
"Have no fear of the Wet-start Firecracker," she says quietly reassuring her, "it is fresh and will only explode in your stomach as it should. Blinkie never serves poisons to Blinkie's students--especially foul, nasty Muggle poisons like alcohol that makes drinks explode in brains!" She winks one bulbous sparkling eye at Sabrina, but then as an after thought, looks concernedly at Lucky, wondering if she has given him too strong a drink, and thinking he has perhaps scorched his brain with his Scortch/Rocks.
Blinkie then focuses her large eyes on Angelus, trying to discern what house Angelus is from and what drink to serve.

Gloria picks up Narnia and starts to stroke him. She watches as Lucky goes off the diving board and as he dives down into the water, Gloria murmurs a single word. She smirks as Lucky hits the surface of the water with a satisfying smack.
She drops Narnia, and he runs over to his owner, to see if he's okay.
"Gee, Lucky, your cat only hisses at other cats? That's really strange because," she pauses to look down at herself. "I don't look like a cat, and he hissed at me. Very peculiar. But of course, I suppose cats take after their owners."

Suddenly, the door opens and in walks a tall, handsome, dark-haired 7th-year. He politely smiles and nods at the group and then walks across the room to the opposite side of the pool. With his back to them, he doffs his robes, laying them on a chair, and removes a small object from one pocket. Under his robes he wears a pair of long black wetsuit trousers and a white long-sleeved T-shirt which has a message flashing across the back in three colors of neon: "Music....a magic beyond all we do here." He rubs the small object briefly around his face and then replaces it into the robe pocket.
As he turns around to the pool, the front of the T-shirt is visible. It is a head-and-shoulders portrait of the singer, Mad Donna at her blondest, silently mouthing one of her hit songs, La Isla Brujita. Occasionally one of her hands raises to her cheek and vainly strokes scarlet fingernails over a black beautymark.
With a quick glance toward everyone, the 7th-year dives into the water with perfect form, his lean body barely raising a splash. He rapidly swims underwater toward the group, then pushes himself out of the pool and stands in front of them. He is dripping and panting a bit, but flashes a friendly open-mouthed smile that lights up his face and puts a sparkle in his large brown eyes.
As the water drains off of his body, it suddenly becomes transparent what the long-sleeved T-shirt was meant to hide. The thin, wet fabric is clinging to the teenager's chest which is obviously extremely hairy, much more like a black fur rug than a normal 18-year old boy's. In fact, to coin a popular author's phrase, his chest is almost too hairy to be allowed. And the now-drenched portrait of Mad Donna is sputtering and cursing, her hair limp and stringy, her long fingers rubbing runny mascara into circles around her eyes. When she drops her hands to glare up at him, the young fellow's chest fur shows through her white skin and her face instantly rivals the werewolfgal (except she hasn't Ariac's goldy-speckle eyes.) The beautymark slythers down her dripping cheek and falls out of the portrait.
With a display of white teeth and pink tongue, the newcomer smiles at everyone, unabashedly taking in the whole group, one by one. His eyes pause briefly, but almost longingly, at a pair of dragon-hide leather boots that rest under one chair, but then continue around the faces. Finally, he stretches out a very well-groomed hairy hand that is not quite hairy enough to hide a scar in the shape of a snake that winds across its back and up his sleeve. He says, "Hello there, I'm Procyon Black, Sirius Black's son. How do you do?"

All focus is firmly on the Messer Black, so the arrival of a newcomer is barely noticed. She walks in silently, deposits her towel and clothes on the far side of the pool, and walks up to the group. She has long, very red hair, startling green eyes and a green bikini. She hesitates before: "Hello. My name's Elle. Where did u get those drinks from?"

Blinkie sees Elle and immediately her eyes register deep concern. She brings Elle a large mug of hot chocolate that has miniature marshmallows floating on top and a small green umbrella swizzlestick.
"Hello, Miss," Blinkie stares directly into Elle's eyes and blinks twice, "I'm Blinkie the House Elf and I loves all students, Miss. Enjoy."
Elle looks into the mug and sees that the marshmallows spell out a message which reads, "The umbrella opens into a full-size shield that will deflect all spells but not any cruel words."

Elle attempted to conceal her amazement, while signalling her thanks to the house elf with a warm smile. She wasn't accustomed to having her food delivered to her by what could be described as a slave.
Attempting to be as discreet as possible, carefully removed the umbrella from the drink, and scalded herself in the process. She rushed to the edge of the pool, and quickly dipped her hand into the water. The umbrella was carefully concealed in her other hand. Cruel spells???? Cruel words???? Her reception since her arrival had sometimes been less than welcoming. Some of the wizarding world seemed to have a less than admiring attitude towards what they referred to as 'Muggles', but surely they wouldn't be violent. Or would they?

Moon Light and Zooks walk out of thier hiding spot to see another cat in here. Zooks walked closer to the cat. On the other hand, Moon Light tugged the kitten back to see if it was safe. "Meow." Moon Light meowed. Zooks ran friskly around them.
Starisha was telling her friends (I think) about how to get to New York with no floo powder. "Well, no floo powder, no New York I guess. Were am I supposed to get some at anyway?" She asked. "I need it fast! Because I need to get to New York tommorow night!!!" Suddenly her owl sowped in. It was Ginger! Starisha took the package from the beak of Ginger. She read the note to herself.
It read:
Dear Starisha,
I told Ginger to go were ever you were, cuz this stuff is very important. Make sure no one sees it okay? I thought you might need this to go to New York. The shout is a couple days away. So HURRY UP!!! Or just send me an owl. Thank you.

"But you know, I did 7th year at Durmstrang last year and there I was a Snufflesnort--that's their equivalent of our Hufflepuff. They do a lot of Dark Arts--practically their whole 7th year is Dark Arts--and I guess compared to some of their Serpentians (which is like our Slytherins) I'm a big Duffer."

Gloria smiles. "Oh, you went to Durmstrang? Wow.... lucky. I wish I could've gone, but my mother-- Well, anyway.... I'm sure these ladies," she gestures to the group, "don't think you're a big duffer at all, even if the Durmstrang lot do." She winks, then is silent for a moment, looking thoughtful.
"I wonder... you said you were in your seventh year, Snufflesnort, right? Hmmm... Would you happen to know a guy named Darus Korbe? Serpentian. I think he would have been in his sixth year."

A deep, barely audible growl seems to rumble out of his throat....upon hearing her words, his head snaps back to Gloria, "Erm, who? Did you say Darus Korbe?" His eyes widen in respect. "Sure, I know DK, he's one mean dude. I was in a scrape with him once." He unconciously rubs the scar on the back of his hand. "What d'you know of him?"

Orchid said her eyes setting back into her face , she stared at thewall straight ahead of her. It was like 13 years of practice gone to waste, never could she dive that good... she pushed back tears that were now stinging her eyes, she climbed down the long ladder. "i suppose i might need a rest, i think it best that i leave now." Orchid said walking over to her chair and grabbing her pool satchel. She her bag over her shoulder, and stood up, looking at the tall boy.

Procyon smiled at Orchid and walked around the group to talk to her. Half way there, a rolled-up newspaper fell out of her satchel and he flinched, stopping in his tracks. His expression became guarded, but he said in a friendly way, "No, I'm not Olympic material--I have an--erm--health condition so that they would never let me enter. But my advice is to keep at it--doggedly--never quit. Good luck!"
He turned and walked several steps away from everyone and gave his body a great shake--water flew in every direction. Then he re-joined the group (Mad Donna was back to silently mouthing another song) and pulled a wand out of his sleeve. It was a 10-inch handcarved stick of mahogany that had a primitive stressing, something like teethmarks, all over it. "Kashanus canis he muttered and a round, well-worn rug appeared. He circled it twice and then sat down, quite happy to be there, looking from face to face. Those who were close thought they detected a brief aroma of "wet dog" waft by and then decided they were mistaken.

I'll tell you who comes back first!"A look of great gratittude came over her face towards Ilana, and then she blanked again, as if nothing was happening behind her eye's they looked dead. Actually Roz was deep in thought, she knew the girls had said something to her before they had climbed (or eased elegantly in Mairi's case)into the pool but she couldn't tell what. She seemed as though in a trance when she sat dawn at a plastic chair quite far away from the pool edge.

Procyon sniffs the air some and shrugs. Suddenly, he begins to scratch behind his ear, but obviously can find no relief from the itch. A small high pitched whine escapes from his clenched jaw. After much rapid scratching, he finally stops and shakes his head as if to clear it.
Blinkie comes to him toting a drink in a tall glass. It has alternating layers of white and red colors. She gives it a stir with a long stick and the colors begin to swirl. The whole drink now resembles nothing more than a barber's pole with the layers of red and white circling upward.
Procyon smiles at her gratefully and reaches for the drink. "Thank you, Blinkie," he says, rubbing his chin which is now rather shadowed, "it is about time, isn't it?" He takes a long thirst-quenching drink and looks up at her in surprise. "Why, you've added the Mandragora! My Dad told me there was some here at Hogwarts! Wonderful!"
He drains the glass and sets it back on her tray. Almost immediately his appearance becomes a little less shaggy, somehow.
He grins again at Gloria, "You know, speaking of toads, I once saw Darus Korbe pull a bezoar out of a toad! No kidding! But it was somewhat of a joke. It was in Practical Applications Lab at Durmstrang...we were supposed to extract a bezoar from a ruminant of our choice without harming it...you should have seen Professor Dipstick's face when Dare--erm, Darus pulled it off..his face matched the toad's! We all were rolling under the tables....eh-herm, well we paid for it later, I'll admit..."

Not being able to find Angulus, Tara, or Nate in her crib notes (read Character List), Blinkie has difficulty preparing the drinks. She brings a Angulus a large glass of iced orange liquid that spouts an orange flame, and for Nate a large bucket of ice water.

She sat listening to the song humming along. about half-way through the song, she relized procyon was stareing at her. she pushed off the head phones. "Nice voice." Procyon said jokingly. "Ohmigod, i didn't start singing did i?" Orsaid blushing red. "yup you did." procyon said smiling and nodding his head. "god i hate when that happens. hey wait do you wanna take a dip?" Orchid says motioning towards the pool. "Sure." Procyon says shrugging. "gloria you in." Procyon ask gloria. "Speedo Bikinius" Orhid was now wearing a deep purple and white two peice that showed off her tan and curves perfectly.

As Orchid changes her clothes, a strange smell wafts over to Procyon's ultra-sensitive nose. "My dogs, she smells of blood!" he thinks, revolted, "Human blood!" He gags.
And then it begins to happen, as it always does when Procyon becomes angry or upset. The beneficial effects of Blinkie's drink disappeared. Hair begins to grow on Procyon's face. In the next instant, all anyone can see is the tail-end of an Irish Wolfhound disappearing out the Pool room door.

Procyon trots down the corridor as fast as his four feet can manage on the slippery stone floor. The first door he comes to he whispers "Alohomora" and slips in.

"There we go! Good one! Smack on!" someone exclaims with glee.
Procyon yelps and backs out as quickly as possible, slamming the door after himself. How could he have forgotten that Professor Python's Being-Hit-on-the-Head-Lessons were in that classroom?
What he needs most is a quiet spot to concentrate on transfiguring back to himself. Blast! Why is this so difficult for me? Dad can do it at the drop of a bone! He spots a large closet at the end of the hall. He dives into it and shuts the door, panting. Suddenly, in front of him stands another great Irish Wolfhound, identical to himself....an even greater wave of panic slaps Procyon in the muzzle....until he realizes he is in the Boggart's closet. "Riddikulus," he mutters joyfully,and then, "Oh, I like this. Let's see what happens when they come in here!" He crouches behind the Boggart and waits for the door to open.

The doors open and in walk several more students from various houses. Suddenly Blinkie grows real ding-dang tired of all this drink bit and wishes she'd never started it. She conjures up a table with a Bottomless Thermos of luke-warm lime-flavoured Koolaide. She adds a Continuous Dispenser of cheap little waxpaper Dixie cups that have a nasty piece of school gossip or cutting joke on each one, like:
"How many lives does Gloria have?"
"What does Dumbledore hide in his snood?"
"Why are Procyon's pockets full of Barkin'-Arfie crumbs?"
"How many Lucky's does it take to change a lightbulb?"
Etc.
Then Blinkie takes her sniveling, foot-kissing personality down to the kitchen and rips it off, tossing it into a rumpled heap in the bottom of her locker. She takes out her "S.P.E.W makes me spew!" pin and puts it on, to keep away the recruiters, then she parks herself at the break-table, snarfin' Keebler cookies and smokin' cheroots.
When her pal, Stinky, comes out of the bathroom without washing his hands she sends him up to the Sauna/Pool room with a bowl of Peabody's Self-popping Corn Kernels . She forgets to mention that he should warn everyone to only eat one or two kernels at a time, as this kind of corn pops in the mouth.

'Drat these infernal shrinking doors!' thought Griselda Flumpgirdle as she squeezed sideways through the door to the co-ed sauna. She glanced around the room where Stinky the house elf was handing around bowls of popcorn. 'Great, I'm starving', she thought.
Griselda couldn't help noticing that everyone was staring at her, and one or two people were openly sniggering. 'Oh no, I did remember to put my bikini on, didn't I?' she wondered. She glanced down. Well, the top half was there. She couldn't actually see the bottom half under her belly, but she was sure it was there somewhere.
Ignoring the stares, Griselda waddled over to a lounger. As she collapsed onto it there was a splat and she felt something break beneath her. Nobody else seemed to have noticed, however, and she wasn't about to go to all the effort of standing up again to see what it was.
It was very hot in the sauna, and Griselda suddenly realised how thirsty she was. She looked around the room for Stinky, but couldn't see him anywhere. Now where had that dratted house elf gone?

She gets into the pool and starts swimming lengths in the pool to warm up. Then she remembered Orchid saying something in the dorm about wanting to speak to her without James. James gets into the water and Freida calls "I'll be back now." she walks over to Orchid and says "You wanted to speak to me? I think it might have been about James."

oh the legend here goes...
around oh 1880 or so, there was this ivasion of mystical creatures near my ancestors home land anc of course one of those creatures was vampires. ancestors of many familys including mines were bittin, this whole ambush lasted about a sum of 6 uears but the dates are not exact. My 8x great grams was among the many who were bittin, and somtimes when you mix good magic in your blood with whats considered bad magic there are some nasty side effects.and the legend in the stones say that 'the one ho is bittin, will be voluntered to endure great pain, either wait 6 years of suffering or die in vain' an since i was bitin when i was twelve by my now deceased cousin when i was 12, on my 18 birthday in november all of my troubles will be over and i can become a normal person again, of course as the vampire non-poisinous venom leaves my body i'l be sick for a short period of time, but it will be all worth it."orchid finished with her friends both looking at her intensley let what she had said sink in. "die in vain, die for no reason that makes no sense."freida said with her face twisting into a puzzled exsperssion. Of course, everyone in the pool/sauna area HAD to look over when she did that, and they all started laughing. Her face burned red with embarresment. She looked around her to see who tripped her, but couldn't tell. No one came to help her up, and she sighed. Under her breath she muttered "Undoissbathinasis" and she suddenly had on her regular clothes. Everyone continued laughing at her as she ran into the bathroom, tears in her eyes.
