"C'mon, I'm sure this swamp wasn't here before. I should know, I've been in here enough times. In fact, I think I know where we are." Roz looks around getting her bearings. "Yes, I know exactly where we are, Professor Lupin had a swamp put here for a DADA test when he taught here, but they got rid of it after the exams." Seeing Lucky's puzzled look she explaine how she knew this while looking for a way around the swamp."I read it in some book in the library during detention. Can you see a light over there, it looks like a latern."
"Why did Prof. Lupin need a swamp for the exams?" Lucky asked.
"Oh, they pt a Hinkypunk in it, the students had too cross it. Hinkypunks use a latern to lure people away fromk their paths." she answered still squinting at the light. " That'll be what that light is! If they could cross it we can. Just totally ignore the light, and I would place a water-repelling charm on your robes and shoes." she told him and seconds later muttered a spell while pointing her wand at her fett and the hem of her robes. "Impervius"

They begin to walk across........

Ilana jaw drops open as Lucky and Roz flies off without a word (why did you find the brooms by the way?)
"Ok," she yells after them. "I take it we�re supposed to guess where you two are going, you know with us being psychic and all!" She adds in a sarcastic tone.
Then turning to Marci, when the two don�t return she asks: "Which way then? You lead the way and we better wear the invisibility cloak. It must've been an emergency for them to rush off like that."

Ok follow me, judging by the direction they flew off in I know exactly where to go. They take off slowly jogging along the path until finally they come to the clearing. Lets head off this way pointing to a path that leads toward the middle of the forest. As they wlk along the path they see the outline of Roz Ilana Meg and Lucky. Conjuring up a path that enables them to cross the swamp they regather on the other side. Where to now? I think we definetly need to steer clear of the Death Eaters AND the Ministry.

As they reach the other side, they see Wolf and Meg."Sorry, I was trying to find Fawkes to see if he could get us some help. We have to keep moving though. There is an army of Death Eaters following us."

Great! marci rolls her eyes Just what we need. ok Lets get out of here. I have one question though. What'll we do about the Ministry I mean I dunno if they'll believe us.

Meg glares at Lucky. "What do you think you were doing?! I was about to get something out of her!"

"Meg, you can yell at us all later, right now, we gotta go. The path will disintergrate soon and it would be better is we were on the other side of the swamp to the death eaters, plus, Hogwarts is on the other side." They all begin to run across the swamp on the narrow path.

As the group reaches the other side of the swamp, outlines of a group of death eaters begin to form. Some try to reach them by the path but it begins to disintegrate.

Thank God for advanced magic! OK Lets get out of here I have a feeling those death eaters aren't here for tea. As they reach a fork in the path marci turns to the others. Which one?

Okay right it is then. As they start to walk down the path looking for lucky. "I don't see him anywhere. Do you?" where could he have gone?

Ahead they see the outline of a figure struggling against two taller figures. As one falls to the ground, gasping for breath, Meg runs to help Lucky fight off the Death Eaters.

Ilana rushes forward behind Meg, reaching for her wand as more death eaters arrive, "Incendio, Rictusempra, Petrificus Totalus, Expelliarmus," she yells, as any type of spell enters her head. A flame ignites on one death eater while another is disarmed. "Why can't you just leave us alone," she yells in frustration, "Tarantallegra, Locomotor Mortis..."

Wolf becomes a wolf and attacks them,ripping off a few arms.(It's gross, and I wouldn't do this unless it is absolutely neccesary)

"Here catch!" Roz threw Malfoy's inviibility cloak to Marci and threw Ilana's over her shoulder after picking it up from the ground where Ilana hd left it. "Cast any spelss t stop the Death-Eaters. Disarm, stun, confund, anything. Get as close as you can to Lucky, Ilana and Meg, if we can cover them with one of the cloaks then the Death-Eaters won't be able to attack any of us." she yells instructions at Marci while doging between the Death-Eaters and Wolf trying to get to the centre. Giving up getting through without magic she begins to harm any Death-eater in her way, still avoiding Wolf.

Uh... Lucky, wasn't that to do with the wands, not the spell? And, wait, let me guess - Draco had a spare wand up his sleeve? (Actually, he probably did!) Oh well, anyway...
Meg is cornered by the woman she met earlier. "You will pay for that, girl." She says, as Meg's wand is knocked aside.
Quick as a flash, she transforms into a vixen, and runs through the woman's legs to her wand. Human, she picks it up, smiling grimly. "Petrificus totalus!"

The students are still trying to get to the center where Malfoy an Lucky are, when all of a sudden The Death Eaters freeze.
Then a deep godly voice speaks,"Only you who fight for the good of all can hear me. I am here to deliver a message of great importance. Keep the chosen ones alive and good shall win.Kill them and Evil shall win. The chosen oes are strong.You don't have to treat them like glass. Remember this: Fear nothing, and you will succeed. Good luck."
When the voice finishes they are once again fighting for thier lives. The Death Eaters don't remember and it seems as if nothing happened.

Then out of the surrounding fog walks a small girl with her brown hair rippling in a breeze that wasn't there. She seems oblivious to the fact that people are fighting. She walks into the circle and gives Meg a small knife, saying "This knife shall aid you in your defeat of Draco Malfoy. It cannot kill for fun and pleasure, only for real need and peril. Use it wisely. All i ask in return is two favours. Don't kill Draco and find Snape and Lupin. They are most important for your survival. You must trust me, I am the Great Floo, I invented floo powder and this knife." She waited for any questions.

Ilana points her wand at Lucky's bleeding arm "Fervla," she yells as bandages wrap around the large cut. Turning to the Floo powder inventor she asks: "Why give us a knife that kills if we cannot harm the one that wants to harm us?"
While waiting for an answer, an idea comes to Ilana, turning to the centre of the circle she mutters: "Incendio," A large fire starts to burn, turning back to 'the Great Floo' she asks: "Per chance, do you have any floo powder on you?"

"Great idea, Ilana, but can you two hurry up, I have a feeling Malfoy's realised we're still here." Roz spun round to see Malfoy advancing on them. "What's going on? Wolf, Marci, get out of here. There's too amny Death-Eaters. Marci, take Malfoy's cloak with you." she threw Ilana's cloak over Lucky. "We need to get him out of here too. You can only travel alone by floo powder."

"See you there!" Turning to face Malfoy, "Figure out how to transport Lucky. I'll try and hold Malfoy off." Roz sounded braver than she felt. She tried to bring Malfoy as far as way as possible from the two girls without him casting a spell. She needed something to knock him out, mybe stun him, but she didn't know how to do that. She knew in a duel she would lose easily, he was more advanced than her. She needed something quick and simple, but that would last a long time. He had thrown off the full-body-bind somehow so that was pointless. "What makes us so special?" she spoke to Malfoy on usdden inspiration, realising her only hope was to stall him long enough to escape. "Why do you want to kill us? Is it you, or has you-, has Voldemort returned?" Roz didn't like using Voldemort's name but to say 'you-know-who' sounded wrong at that moment.

marci disappears under the cloak and begins to walk away from the death eaters tripping a few as she goes. Remembering the stunning spell marci yells over her shoulder, "Roz!!! Its stupefy!" before starting to run again. "see you at green house three. Be careful you guys."

Suddenly, Meg pounces. "Petrificus Totalus!" Malfoy falls to the ground, unable to move. Digging deep into her pocket, she finds a small bottle. "Truth potion." She says to Roz. "Not very strong, but a mouthful or two should get something useful out of him." She frees his mouth, and forces him to swallow several mouthfuls before putting the cap back on the bottle and pocketing it.

"Okay then. Malfoy, can you hear us?" Roz asks. "Malfoy? Mag, you're goping to have to take the body-bind spell off him. Replace it with something else. Hang on." Roz muttered a few words and Malfoy was bound with strong, tight ropes. "Okay, take the spell off him, he'll be able to talk. Malfoy, can you hear us?" she asked again as Meg removed the spell.

LucKy Lays in the center of the forest and begins to change into his animal form which is a dog, a black one and scampers off to find help although he is very weak!

The great Floo cries out to Lucky Lays as he runs, "Get Lupin and Snape, only they can save you now." She turns to Malfoy saying "Malfoy is your only way to kill Voldemort, Harry Potter can't kill him, Malfoy is the only one. He has to use the knife." She looks pleadingly at Roz...

Meanwhile at greenhouse 3 marci waits for the others. sensing something is wrong marci turns back to where she left the group.

As she is about to leave the green house she hears scratching at the door....Marica opens it and see's the dog then the dog truns into Lucky whom is very weak!

Lucky! Are you all right? Where are the others? Marci conjours up a healing potion for lucky and looks around for the others

"He was trying to kill us!" Roz yelled. The confusion was getting to her. She had no idea what do do and she had almost died at least three times already that night. "We cannot trust him with a knife. We have to get to Marci and Wolf. We'll take Malfoy with us. We need to know why this is happening before we can do anything to slove it. Please, I know if you-know-who can be killed we must do everything we can to make it happen. Malfoy is not going to kill you-know-who. He's a Death-Eater, isn't he?"

The Almighty Floo turned to Roz, "You must trust him, his father may have been a death-eater but he's not. If you really don't trust him keep him in ropes and make him hold the knife. Then take him to Voldemort and manouvere his hand into Voldemorts heart. But I find that letting him do it is much easier, or you could use a potion to make him obey you..." she trailed off in thought. " But you must get Proffessor Lupin and Snape after you have delt with Voldemort, they are essential for your survival" she stared into the mists of the forest with tears in her eyes.....

The Lucky as his dog form jumps on floo and truns into him self. Having floo pinned down he speaks "hey you guys we can't trust this floo she could just be tring to get us killed, giving the draco that tried to kill you three and make me bleed to death the knife? The only place that knife belongs is in the bottom of lake." Lucky mummer "alcio knife" it comes to him then he mummers a spell and he hears the kinfe hit the water. "lets go you guys leave Draco...this floo is scaring me!!!"

Meanwhile, the others are still arguing about whether to leave Draco or not. "Look," Meg says, "I don't trust this 'Floo' person either, but there's one way we can find out who's side Malfoy's really on." She takes out the truth potion again.

"I wouldn't either" says marci from behind Meg. Sorry guys but I got worried and decided to hike back her to see if everything is alright.

"Draco? Yes, give Draco the potion. I think we should keep the knife anyway, it could be useful." Roz touched Lucky's wand tip with her own and muttered, "Prori Incantatem." The knife came soaring back to where Lucky was standing, but Roz caught it just before it reached him. "I don't know who to trust. Will you wait while we find out why Draco was after us? Or do you know?"

"Please get off..."mumbled Floo,"I'd rather you took this big lump off of me" she was beginning to sound very irritated."Look, just forget about Malfoy and the knife if you want to die...UNLESS....I've got it...I apoligise, really I do, it's coming to me." Floo was begginning to see that her vision had been to blurry and the real killer of Voldemort was coming clearer."It's..it's.." She broke off screaming. she lurched towards Roz and grabbed the knife, still screaming earpiercingly. Then she, to everyone's surprise cut a huge gash in her shoulder. she smiled wearily as she picked out a small piece of Voldemort's wand."I duelled him..but he killed my brother and dissapeared, somehow part of his wand must have broken off when I grabbed his hand and smashed it against a rock. Roz..." Floo was getting weaker before everyones eyes,"Roz you must battle Voldemort with the knife, please, just get Snape or Lupin. I need their help, as well as you need they'res." then Floo fainted in a heap in the mud.

Roz paled. "Me?" she stared into space, still sitting on the floor where Lupin had knocked her over. "I can't. I caouldn't duel you-know-who, let alone battle him. How can I? How can all this happen? The chosen three, sorry, four? Killing you-know-who?" she stood up confused. "I must do it if it will get rid of You-K -, of Voldemort. I don't know if I can though." she looked scared but determined to complete her task.

Ok - simplified version of this page for you Lucky:
�Draco was just about to undergo interrogation from the Truth Potion.
�However Floo interrupted Draco�s interrogation. She then tells Roz she apparently has to kill Voldemort and that we need Snape�s or Lupin�s help and they need our help also.
�Floo then faints in a heap of mud.
�You (Lucky) summoned Lupin here � and now he�s talking to the unconscious Floo for some reason.
�Everyone is at one place now.
�Marci, Meg, Wolf, Roz, Lucky (You) is talking, Ilana (Me) has just joined the group again.
�Meg�s asking the unconscious Floo why she interrupts the group every time they�re about to question Draco.
�Wolf and Marci are suggesting that the group should move away from the area.
�Roz is accepting the fact she has to kill Voldie.
�Ilana (Me) has just joined the group and asks Roz about what she just said.
�Meanwhile back to Draco � I have no idea what�s become of him, I�m thinking 1. He�s escaped while everyone�s attention was turned to Floo (before she fainted) or 2. He�s still under the body bind spell, put on him by Meg.

Floo wakes up. "sorry about that I think I must have fainted!" She holds her head in her hands and blinks. "Roz, now I have been forced to tell you confidential information.."she glares at ananya"so you will now heed my pearls of wisdom." while saying this she takes an ointment out of the folds in her cloak and rubs it on the cut in her shoulder, from where she had taken out the splinter of wand. she turns to Lupin, saying,"Quickly we have no time to lose." with the flick of a finger the knife flies to her hand,"Your's I believe?" she asked Roz. Her question was to ask for confirmation that she would help...

Roz looked up into The Great Floo's eyes and saw the question in them. "I..I guess." she stammered. Looking down at the knife in her hands she felt scared. There was no other way to put it, she wasn't nervous and it wasn't just the cold making her shiver, she was scared. Roz looked up at her friends and smiled, it made her feel slightly braver. "Hey, Ilana, come back over here." she called, "I'm just going to have to be a brave litle Gryffindor, aren't I?" she joked to lighten the tense mood. "Sorry, about tying you up and everything," she apoligised to The Great Floo. "I was just really confused."

Floo smiled, "Don't worry, you won't be doing it by yourself. It'll be you, me, and a willing young male. Who we have to find...maybe one of your friends?"

"I'm glad I'm not doing this alone, but, what exactly is the plan? Why do I need to kill Voldemort? You, a 'willing young male' and me? Why us?"

Ilana walks back to the group, smiles at Floo as she stands up right untied, "So we can trust you then? - Good," Ilana says. "What now then?"

"Dunno....What do you think we should do" marci asks the girl. I'm not particularly keen on going looking for Voldemort or having him find us...however...if it does happen...

"we fight."continued floo for her."we really have to find a young man. Its to save everyone. We will fight. Roz and the young man will fight side by side, as a team. I will be helping you by...well, thats classified info. And if we can't find a willing male we'll have to use Draco. Our time's running out. Voldemort's looking for me, us. So help me find that willing male and quickly." Floo looked urgently at Roz, her blue eyes showed that she was not as brave as everyone first thought. Only she knew that she would not survive the fight, it was safe enough for Roz and who ever the male would be, but for her it was a sueside(spelling??) mission. But it meant Voldemort would die, her life was trivial compared to that damage he would cause if he survived.

'At least Im not the only one who's scared' The thought comforted Roz. "Can we get back to Hogwarts at all?" She began to speak. "I'm sure we could find someone there. I don't know who, but there will be someone. I just know." looking around at the rest of the group she continued, "What will you guys do?"

What about Lucky? Maybe if he's willing you can use him.....We'll go with you guys We may not be able to do anything but we'll still be there....

"What will we do?" Ilana repeats. "We're gonna have a tea party while you risk your neck and fight Voldemort. What will we do? We'll come and help, you don't think we'll let you fight him on your own do you?"

The blade of Floo's flashed lilac, pastel pink and ice blue. She smiled, showing daring and her excitement for the adventure. Her cloak flew behind her as she turned and started to walk into the forest.

She stepped in time with Roz and began to whisper, "I heard that voice, don't worry, he can't hurt you, yet. I have to tell you the truth about this mission. I am 15 and come from a great line of Ministers of Magic. My father suggesed me for this job. So I was pulled out of Hogwarts and trained. Here's the truth, you and the boy will battle Voldemort, after me. I will attack with my knife. We only use magic if absolutly necessary. I am not expected to survive the duel, which is where you come in. You will continue after me and defeat Voldemort. I've got used to the idea of my death. It's a shame I have to miss Voldemort being 'Poofed'!" she smiled sadly and wiped away her tear. She then walked briskly to the front and led the way.

'She knows she's going to die.' she realised. 'She knows that she's going to die and she still does all this. I thought we would be all okay....... We will, we'll all be okay, even her. We'll help her, I'm sure there's a way we can all get out alive.'

Don't worry Roz, if things start to go wrong we'll all be there with our wands ready to defend you and floo. I have an idea, while you guys are fighting we'll be in hidden in the trees, or invisible (whichever comes first) and if we have to we'll be right there wands ready and spells in mind. Walking along behind the group, Ilana listens to various bits of conversation, running up to catch Floo up she starts talking, "Floo?" she begins, "I'm not sure how to ask and I don't mean to pry but why do you need to fight Voldemort first, if we combine are attacks to begin with we'll have a much more advantage to the situation."

The death eaters start to surround the group. They hold up there wands unsure of what to do next.
"We don't really have a choice whether to fight or not do we?" Ilana says lightly not to any one particularly.

Floo looked alive, her knife was drawn. The death eaters didn't seem to effect her as she jumped at Voldemort. she was practically snarling as she slashed at his face and the mask fell to the floor. She pushed him down to the floor and held the knife to his throat, saying, "Where is he, what did you do to him?" Floo was talking about her brother, whom had dissapeared when they had fought Voldemort once before. Voldemort sneered and answered, "You'll never find him! He's in Askaban."Then he muttered under his breath and Floo was thrown back against a tree trunk at about 50 miles and hour. There was a sickening crack and thud. Floo lay on the floor and groaned, "attack with the knife, attack..."

How could one man do this? She knew who had done it and she knew he was still there. She had to look up, she knew he was watching her.

marci walks silently out from the bushes, looking as if she hadn't even noticed what was going on, walking to middle of the battle where Roz stood. It was as if everything had slowed down looking to each of her friends eyes pulling out her wand marci said the incantation too stop time. Turning her wand to each of her friends she says, "Hurry the spell will where off soon and we need to revive floo and lucky. Pulling out 2 small glass bottle from her cloak pocket marci hands one to Meg and one to Ilana. Giving a few drops to each floo and lucky they begin to regain conciousness and are ready to fight again...

Voldemort turned to see the knife. As she brought it down to his throat he muttered the fatle words, "Adiva Kadiva"(spelling?) with her last ounce of strength she brought down the knife. OK, she obviously wants to die, so...
Suddenly, the fighting stopped. The spikes in the ground disappeared, the Death Eater behind Marci stopped in his tracks, and Voldemort's body lay limp. For a split second, Meg was sure she saw a green smoke rise from him, then all was still. One of the Death Eaters looked at the others, then said in a low voice, "Our master will be avenged, one day..." Before turning and vanishing into the night. The others followed. It's a trick... Meg thought at once, then turned to Floo.
"That's... it?" She says, shakily, "There's nothing we can do? She's just going to... to die?" Meg bows her head. "Well, we can't leave her here in the forest for the giant spiders to feed on the corpse. She spoke of a brother. I'm sure he'd want her to have... a proper funeral..."

"No," Ilana whispers as the group surrounded Floo, "You can't die, you just killed Voldemort," she says looking at the limp body as she kneeled down gently next to her, daring to believe.
After a moment of silence, looking up to the others she adds, "I think you're right Meg, we need to go find her brother, she called him Finn, I thought. So it looks like we're off to search for her brother, but we need to take her back to Hogwarts first - don't we? Then if any of us don't won't to go, they can stay at Hogwarts, the rest of us go in search for Finn Floo."

Meanwhile, in Azkaban, Finn Floo was sitting in the dark. His face was horribly disfigured and what was left of his hair was dry and dirty. He sat with his only companion, Sally, she was his eyes. Little did he know that she was not breathing in the air he was missing.

You couldn't escape what happened in your dreams. She points her wand at a bare wall, and nothing happens. Suddenly, it begins to glow white, and pictures begin to form. Lucky, running through deserted tunnels... The goblin tunnels he was talking about... Meg almost called out to him as a dark creature appeared behind him, before remembering that he couldn't hear her.

"Meg?" It whispered, "Meg, are you ready? We've just gotta get Lucky and Wolf from the boy's dorm before we can go. Are you coming?"

She had changed into cleaner robes and had put her hair up, out the way with a few strands out-lining her face. A small pouch was hanging from her waist. "It's a bewitched pouch," she says, "It'll fit anything in and make it weigh like nothing and there's no limit to what can be put in it, I filled it with some food, drinks, rope, all sorts as they might come in use. I've got the page out of 'Transfiguration Today' as well. Let's go get the others, Marci and Lucky are coming and then we need to meet Wolf, at the Ravenclaw entrance," she paused as she saw Meg's worried face, "What's wrong, Meg?"

Where is Marci and Wolf? We need to get to Lucky before anything else happens."

"Hang on, are you sure this is going to work?" Roz called after Meg and Ilana seconds too late, the had alerady disappeared. "Wolf, Marci, this fire shouldn't be connected to the floo network. I'm not sure whether it has worked, those two could be anywhere."

Seconds after Ilana muttered Azkaban she felt herself land in some dusty fireplace. Looking around she sees that she is in a small-furnished room. Stepping out, she whispers, "Meg?" but there was no reply. 'This sure doesn't look like Azkaban,' she thinks as she puts the invisibility cloak over herself and makes her way towards the door, it was then she heard voices. Quickly ducking behind a red armchair, so that whoever it was wouldn't walk into her, she watched as two wizards in dark cloaks entered the room. It was Lucius Malfoy and Walden Macnair. They started talking about Voldemort and then how they were going to free the Lestranges from Azkaban, before being interupted by a small wizard. After what seemed like hours, they finally left. Ilana crept out from behind the red armchair with a worried expression on her face. 'Apparently Floo hadn't killed Voldemort after all.'
