{The Story so far…}
Formed back in the year 2000, Rozwell, under many different guises and the influences of many different members, have been slowly marking their territory for nigh on
4 years. Now, 3 EPs (plus two tracks on compilations) and 3 drummers later (they seem to spontaneously combust Spinal Tap style!) Rozwell are here in the flesh and
ready to rip it up big time…!
{The members…}
Tom and Ian (both playing for 5 years) are the two surviving members of the long running project that is Rozwell. Over the years, the band has tried out different
musicians, including a keyboard player and rhythm guitarists, in the quest for that perfect sound. The current line-up is a mere 5 months old, yet has managed to come
closer than any other to ‘that’ sound. Jaf (playing for 10 years) is the latest addition on drums, joining in September 2003. The band have evolved and are currently
expanding their territory (the Kingston/Surrey area) - moving further afield trying to ensnare a new fanbase…
{The music…}
In essence, the music is punk, but the truth of the matter is that there’s a bit of everything in there: some metal, some hardcore, some emo and even a bit of pop-punk
thrown in for good measure… imagine a fusion of Strung Out and Iron Maiden, blended with Thrice and a dash of The Early November - add a bit of Green Day - and
there you have your mix…!
