I have been researching Family History over 30 years.
From 1985 - 1997 I served the Sheldon Family Association as President and Editor of the family association quarterly. From 1993- 1995 I also served as editor of LINES, the Quarterly of the Allen County Indiana Genealgoical Society. Currently in 2003 I am the Sheldon Family Association Genealogist as well as Quarterly Editor.
In 1994, I and a cousin indexed and reprinted photocopies of the Early Records of The Congregational Church of West Suffield Connecticut 1744-1908 as a gift to that church to celebrate their 200th year. Copies are at the church, Suffield Library, and The Historic Genealogy Department of the Allen County Public Library.
Because my husbands great grandfather William Gilbert Newton's ancestors Henry and Sarah Newton of early Monroe Coutny Tennessee are so elusive, I have combined the research of other NEWTON researchers of this line with whom I have corresponded over the years into a home page for Henry and Sarah hoping that others of this line may find us and we may combine forces to continue the research and establish these people further back in early records.
