| A Hello To Lonliness |
| Why did you leave me and the family? Had you better things to do in the beyond? Away you went, without warning, leave this world and be gone in the morning. Never was there a goodbye, just a hello to lonliness. An open void to be filled by no one. You were my father, the one I called "Dad." My every day was to be "Daddy's little girl." But you took that away, far too soon; for now there will be no more tea Parties, or late night talks, or even the dating problem. You can't protect me, even when I need you the most. You are gone now, and I must accept that; it wasn't your fault you had to go so Soon, but you did. And for that, my poem cannot express my feelings enough, all I can say is: "I Love you Daddy, my father forever." |
