Knock Upon My Door

~*~Shannon~*~

Teenagers knock upon my door,
Thinking there is naught else to do.

Drunks knock upon my door,
In a loud squeal,
And a crunch of steel.

Some knock suddenly,
It wasn't their time,
They were taken in their prime.

My door is one which you can enter but never leave.
In a terror that will seize,
When I open the door, you know It's Me.
I am Death. You are free.
