| I am Roy (short for Robert) Willighan, born 1975, and eldest son of Robert Snr, born 1957, and Deborah (nee Charles) born 1955. I have a brother Graham, born 1978. My dad re-married in 1996 and has a further two children, Naomi, born in 2000, and Jonathan, born in 2004. My father is the youngest child of Robert (Bobby) and Mary (May) nee Martin. Bobby died in 1969, aged 39, and May died in 1998, aged 62. My dad has a brother, Jim, born in 1956, and lives in Surrey, England. My grandad (Bobby) was the eldest of six. He was born in India in 1929, along with Jimmy (1933) and Sally (1935). Then they came to Ballymena and and along came Ivor (1939), Maureen (1941), and Robin (1943). Robin died in 1995 and Sally in 2004. Bobby's father was called also Robert, so technically that means I'm Robert the 4th. Robert the 1st was the 2nd child of 10. First was Mary-Anne (1899), then Robert (1902), Thomas (1903), Esther (1905), Margaret-Jane (1907), Isabella (1908), Richard (1911), Elizabeth (1913), Hugh (1916), and then Evelyn (1919). Margaret-Jane and Richard both died before their first birthday, and Isabella and Elizabeth also died very young. The parents names were Thomas and Margaret. Thomas was a labourer, and Margaret's maiden name was Burns. At this time, the family lived in Belfast, at 86 Cambrai Street, which links the Shankill and Crumlin Roads.
