Home of Debannita and Soumya

Debannita and Soumya got married on Nov 27, 2005 (just in case you want to wish them on their anniversary date). Debannita is from the ”bangal” family believing in the world of hilsa and supporting East Bengal while Soumya is from “ghoti” family starting the day eating sweets and supporting MohunBagan.
Their professional carriers have started in research. Soumya has finished his PhD (in Computer Engineering) and Debannita is just stone’s throw away from getting one (in Biotechnology).
Their combined passions till now lie in three things: (1) travel (2) food (3) photography. Because of the work obligations, they have to stay apart for many weeks, but whenever they meet, they always end up travelling to places around Bangalore and if possible, to outside the country. Soumya loves the mountains, while Debannita likes the water. Therefore, they try to alternate the destinations. Till date, Soumya might have seen more places around the world, while Debannita has seen more of India. But they have vowed to see most of the world together.
Food is more of Debannita’s forte rather than Soumya. Soumya has tried food of different varieties from many countries, but Debannita is mastering the art of cooking them. So if you are passing by their house, try to taste the newest foods that are coming out of their kitchen. They are definitely going to be innovative and always better than the so-called Italian, Mexican restaurants of Bangalore. (Not talking about Park’s Italia though)
Photography is something that Soumya had been dabbling in since he bought his Analog SLR in 1999. Debannita is playing lately with her digital camera and has done wonders in short time.
