All of my life I have been an Athletic Training Student. I started being an Athletic Training Student in eight grade at Boulter Middle School.  In 1996, I attended John Tyler High School in Tyler, Texas.  I was the first female trainer to work with football at my high school. It was a very challenging experience for me; since I was the trainer for other athletes as well as my brothers. I had to be professional at all time regardless if my brothers the injured athlete. I was a member of the 1994 District Championship Football Team as an Athletic Training Student. In 1996, I was a member of the Class 5A State Championship Football Team as an Athletic Training Student.
In 1997, I attended Trinity Valley Community College. This was an excellent experience for me. I worked under a great trainer named  Mr. Richard Womble. While attending TVCC, I was able to receive a National Championship Football ring for being the National Championship amongst Junior Colleges in Football as an Athletic Training Student. I was able to travel to several cities and states that I was unfamiliar with. My most memorable moment was receiving my associate's degree in science. Also, I really enjoyed working with some respectable, kind and elite athletes. I also worked with the National Championship Cheerleading Squad amongst all Junior Colleges as an Athletic Training Student.

In 1999, I came to the University of Southwestern Louisiana  as an Athletic Training Student. I currently work with the Ragin Cajun Football Team. Working with the Ragin Cajuns Football Team has been a great experience for me, since I have met a lot of interesting people and travel to exciting places. I have learned a lot about the National Athletic Training Association. This is an organization that majority of all Athletic Trainers join in order to stay current with all the things going on in the Athletic Training world. Also as an Athletic Training Student, I have learned alot about the Southeastern Athletic Trainers Association (SEATA). This is an Athletic Training Student organization in the Southeastern part of the United States. I have learned an important phase: GEAUX CAJUNS GEAUX, WORK,WORK, WIN, WIN
