cannot be quiet until she is fed. But she's still hungry. Don't get me wrong. She is the most loving and gentle guinea pig there is. She never bites, unless, of course, she mistakes your little finger for a fresh carrot! (OUCH!) She loves to sit in your lap and rest while you pet her for hours. (I'm sure she knows how spoiled she is.) Her favorite foods are carrots, timothy hay, fresh grass, lettice, broccoli, spinach, dandelion greens, and, unfortunately, she is always trying to take a bite out of the nearest plastic grocery bag. She has actually gotten a hold of one once, and she chewed a hole about the size of her head out of it! Luckily, it did not hurt her. We must be careful with this, as I'm sure the phrase Guineta hears most is, "No, Guineta, NOT THE PLASTIC!" |
