To become a master the following must be completed:

1. Know how to appliqu� on all types of fabric.
2. Make an item of corduroy, jean or a fabric with stripes. It must have a zipper and buttons on it.
3. Make an extravagant costume worthy of a master. Must be made of satin, velvet or silk type of fabric.
4. Make a surcote with coat of arms appliqu� out of satin, velvet or silk type of fabric.
5. Present a number of items to the Guild Baron and their staff. Pass an oral examination and inspection of your craft.
