Legends of Wrestling

 

 

 

Cheat mode:

Select career mode & choose any Wrestler.  During career mode, enter one of each of the match types.  You can either finish the match or immediately exit.  After all match types have been entered, a message now stating that the cheats can now be purchased in the shop will appear.

 

Andy Kaufman:

Select career mode and choose Jerry Lawler as your wrestler.  Defeat Andy Kaufman to unlock him at the shop.

 

Big John Studd:

Select career mode & choose any wrestler.  Defeat Big John Studd to unlock him at the shop

 

British Bulldog:

Select career mode and choose Dynamite Kid.  Successfully complete career mode to unlock British bulldog at the shop.

 

Bruno Sammartino:

Select career mode and choose Hulk Hogan.  Successfully complete career mode to unlock Bruno Sammartino at the shop.

 

Owen Hart:

Select Bret Hart.  Successfully complete career mode to unlock Owen Hart at the shop.

 

Unlimited Green Coins:

Successfully complete career mode with all players to get unlimited Green coins.

 

Hint: Easy Green Coins:

Enter the create a legend screen and intentionally make a wrestler with poor attributes (stats are all at zero).  Defeat him repeatedly in latter and cage matches to get three Green coins for each win.

Play in a 16-team tournament. Pick one wrestler and play him through the tournament.  Save before you fight the last wrestler.  After you defeat him, you will get 1 Green coin for winning the match and 9 Green coins for winning the tournament.  After winning your last match and collecting your 10 Green coins, leave tournament mode without saving.  Do not save in tournament mode after the last match or you will have to start again.  Save in the options menu to keep your Green coins.  Go back to tournament mode and load the tournament you just saved.  You should only have to fight the last wrestler again.  Win the last match again and get ten Green coins.  Repeat this as many times as desired.  This also works in the 4 and 10 team tournaments.  Note if it helps you to stack the tournament in your favor by choosing weaker opponents.  Find or create a wrestler that has an easily accessible submission move, such as one that can be used straight from a grapple. Then, have a friend be the referee in an 8-man tag match while you are controlling the wrestler with the submission move. Immediately when the match starts, put the move on your opponent and have your friend count it as if he gave up. You should win the match in about five seconds and add five Green Coins to your account.

Random character select:
Highlight Shang Tsung (for player one) or Quan Chi (for player two) at the character selection screen, then hold Up + Start.

 

Alternate costumes:
After the appropriate costumes are unlocked in the Krypt, press Start at the character selection screen to access the new costume.

 

Versus mode stage select:
Press R1 before either player chooses a character to get a screen with a screenshot of a stage. Then, press Left or Right to change it to the desired stage.

Versus mode skill select:
Press L2 before either player chooses a character.

 

Victory pose select:
Each character has three end-of-battle poses. Perform the following when the "Finish Him/Her" message appears. Note: If you run out of time performing your fatality or if you end the match with your weapon, your character will automatically perform the pose of the last stance he or she was in.

1: Strike your opponent in your character's first form.
2. Strike your opponent in your character's second form.
3. Execute your characters fatality.

 

Background FMV sequence:
Press Triangle at the main menu and a movie screen will appear. It shows the story leading up to the start of the game.

 

Hint: Play as Blaze:
Successfully complete all missions in Konquest mode for all fighters. Then, highlight Raiden at the character selection screen and hold Down.

 

Hint: Play as Mokap:
Successfully complete all missions in Konquest mode for all fighters. Then, highlight Cyrax at the character selection screen and hold Down.

Hint: Play as Cyrax easier:
You would have to have at least 462 Ruby Koins and open Krypt PD (to get 1056 Platinum Koins ) and get the rest of 3003 needed to open CN for Cyrax. You can get extra Platinum Koins in the following Krypts: FV (83 Platinum Koins needed for 243 platinum Koins); PK (157 Platinum Koins needed for 475 Platinum Koins); WS (44 Onyx Koins needed for 165 Platinum Koins); and NG (63 Sapphire Koins needed for 252 Platinum Koins).

Hint: Play as Raiden easier:
Open the FN Krypt first to get 1800 of the 3300 Koins that are needed before opening the XG Krypt to unlock Raiden.

Hint: Defeating Moloch:
Play as Quan Chi, draw your weapon, then hold Away and press Square, Triangle(2). Keep repeating this for an easy win.

Play as Shang Shung in the crane style and repeatedly press X or Square until he stops blocking. Then, press Circle and you should get an easy win.

Play as Raiden, take out your staff, then repeatedly tap R1 for an easy win.

Hint: Kenshi: Immunity to Sonya's Kiss Of Death move:
Since Kenshi is blind, Sonya's Kiss Of Death move has no affect on him.

 

Hint: Kitana: Impale move:
To have Kitana throw her fans and impale her opponent, press Away + R1. If done correctly, Kitana will throw her fans and they will stick into her opponent in his/her chest and leg. Unfortunately, you can only do this once. If you opponent blocks it, the fans will fly off screen and you will have lost them for that round.

 

Hint: Quan Chi: Combos:
Play as Quan Chi and pull out his swords. Repeatedly press X, Circle. This will give you a 4 -hit combo. When you block your opponent, press Down + X. This makes Quan Chi spin his swords at the opponent from his blocking stance.

 

Hint: Quan Chi: Alternate fatality:
Choose a match with Quan Chi vs. against Quan Chi. Perform the fatality (Up, Up, Down, Down + LP ). Instead of doing the acid spill over the head of the opponent burning the skin off the body, he will rip off one of the legs and start to beat him with it.

Hint: Scorpion: Combos:
This combo is fairly easy to do; it is only a series of repeated attacks. Have him in the Hapkido stance. Then, start the combo with 2, 2, 4. Repeat the process until your opponent is defeated. The combo is somewhat weak but its an easy combo to execute. This combo also works well against Moloch.

For an easy eight-hit combo, switch to Scorpion's ninja sword. Execute the Spear while opponent is still dazed, then execute the Hell Raiser attack. You have to be quick with the remainder of the combo. Press Square, Circle(2), X. While he is in the air, press Circle(2). This does 41% damage to your opponent without his weapons out. It will do 51% damage to an opponent with his weapons out.

Hint: Sub-Zero: Combos:
Take out your Kori Sword and press Square (1-4 times), X(3), Circle(2). If done correctly, it will stun your opponent then you will stomp him three times and as he is getting up, double kick him.

Hint: Acid Bath stage: Damage opponent:
Get your opponent near the two giant statues in the background. The statues will spit acid out, hurting your opponent. Note: Do not get too close, or you will also get hurt.

Hint: Faster Test Your Might mini-game:
To end the "Test Your Might" mini-game in arcade mode faster, press R2 once you get your strength above the marker. You do not have to hold it for the full amount of time.

Note: This trick requires a controller with an auto fire feature. Set X, Square, Circle, and Triangle to auto and hold them down. The bar will go all the way to the top.

Hint: Easy wins:
Note: This trick can only be done with Sub-Zero, Kung Lao, Li Mei, Cyrax, Shang Tsung, Frost, Reptile, or Kitana. You can impale your weapon into your opponent, making them lose life every second. The move varies, and with some you have to press the D-pad and the button. To find the correct move, press Start, select "Move List", then look under your weapon and it will say "Impale". All of them have to be close range, but Kitana can throw her steel fans. However if it hits and they block or dodge it, you cannot use it again until the end of the match.

Hint: Easy Koins:
Note: This trick requires two controllers. Select versus mode and load a profile for each fighter. Each fighter must have some number of each Koin. Do a Wager then after that match is over, have only one player press R2. Press Right and you will hear the sound, then press Up to bet Koins. Press R2 again and play that match. The winner will get the coins, but the loser will not lose any. Go back and forth with each fight to make each gain more Koins, thus making each match worth more because you can wager more. Keep holding Up until you do not hear the sound anymore to bet the maximum amount in time. Use the following to learn what Koins you are betting, as you will not be able to see.

Enter the versus menu and load a profile for each player. Press R2 to display the wager screen. Then, max out the wager for one Koin type and select "OK" on both controllers. Back at the character selection screen, unload one profile then reload the same profile. Then, alternately unload the second profile and reload it. Press R2 to go into the wager screen again. If done correctly, you both should have won the amount of coins wagered. Repeat this for this same Koin type until you are satisfied. Then, wager one final time for a few Koins and finally complete a battle. After returning to the character select screen, you must press Triangle to exit out and re-enter the versus menu. Repeat this for the other Koin colors. Note: Once you have 1000 Koins for one color, fight and save and redo it for the same color so you increase at a rate of 1000 Koins per profile load/unload. Then, repeat at about 10,000, so you get 10,000 per battle rather than 1,000 and so on. Also, when wagering hold Up on both controllers to increase the rate the Koin Kounter rises.

 

Hint: Unlimited Sapphire Koins:
Use the "Easy Koins" trick, and instead of pressing Right(6) to get the Sapphre Koins, just press Up. If you hear a sound, hold Up. Then, when it stops, press R2 on the other controller to open the wager screen. It should say some number and have the Sapphire Koin below it. Press X on a controller. If you have less Sapphire than the displayed number, both players should drop to zero, then it should read 10000000. Go into the Krypt and you should have a large number of Koins.

 

Hint: Unlimited Koins:
Use the "Unlimited Sapphire Koins" trick, then press R2 on controllers one and two to display the wager screen. It should be on Onyx Koins. Change the type of Koin to Sapphire, and a large negative number should appear. Then, change the type to the Koin of your choice and press X on controllers one and two. Press R2 on controllers one and two, and you should see the same number of 1000000 for the Koin you just set the wager for. Change the type of Koin being wagered to either of the ones that say 1000000 and a negative number should appear again.Cchange the type of Koin to another that you want to have unlimited of. Then, repeat for all the Koins so that they all say 1000000 and make a wager of negative Koins. Do a fight, have either player win, and both profiles will have unlimited Koins.

 

Hint: FMV introductions:
Allow the game to enter demo mode to see the FMV of the first Video Teaser from Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance with Scorpion performing a Kata. Other characters (Kitana, Quan Chi, and Frost) will perform a Kata as well.

 

Hint: Attack your opponent before "Fight" appears:
At the loading screen before the fight, unplug your controller, then plug it back in. You will now be able to move around and attack before it says "Fight."

Hint: Monk movement:
Remain idle long enough during Konquest mode and the "monk" will turn around and shrug his shoulders at you.

 

Glitch: Repeatedly fall and recover during fatality:
Use a fighter that impales an opponent with their weapon and loses it (Shang Tsung, Frost, or Mei Lei). In the second round, impale your opponent with your weapon. When the "Finish Him/Her" message appears, your opponent will repeatedly fall down and get back up.

Hint: Pacing lizard at title screen:
Go to the "Cheats" menu and watch the "Art Gallery" presentation. After "The Turok Team" picture, it ends and begins to cycle again. Return to the first main menu and wait for about five minutes. From the left, a small green lizard will walk along the bottom of your screen, with a picket sign that reads "Lost Land or Bust!!!". When he reaches the right side of the screen, he will turn around and walk the other way, revealing the other side of the sign which reads "Start the Game!". He will look over at you a couple of times, but mainly stares at the ground.

Hint: Nuke in single player Mode:
In Chapter 8, "Arena", defeat the Steracosaur Boss. After doing this, the force field around the middle pillar will drop. Climb to the top of the pillar to get both the Nuke Attachment (for the Rocket Launcher) and a Nuke. You will now be able to fire the Nuke only twice (the Nuke Attachment has a Nuke already in it). There are no more Nukes past Chapter 8. Also , the "All weapons" and "Unlimited ammunition" cheats do not work for the Nuke.

Hint: Nuke in multi-player mode:
The Nuke can be found in three multiplayer levels: Tears Of Horatio, Withering Heights, and Dino-Depot. Note: Do not have the "Unlimited Ammo" option in the multi-player options menu activated or the Nuke will not appear. You can still use the "Unlimited Ammo" cheat in the cheat menu and get the Nuke. The "Unlimited Ammo" cheat does not give you unlimited Nukes. The Nuke will respawn after a period of time.

Tears of Horatio: Go up either path, up the cliff, until you reach a big metal platform with three holes in it. Turn around and you will face a huge rock pillar. A Swarm Bore canister will be at the foot of the pillar. Directly above the Swarm Bore canister is the Nuke, floating in the air. You must have the Jump Boots to get it.

Withering Heights: Go to either side of the level and climb to the top floor. Activate the switch, then go to the window where there is a trampoline at the bottom (after switch is activated). Jump down to it and you will bounce to the center platform. Once there, you will get a either the Empathy Chest Plate or a Nuke (along with a Swarm Bore canister).

Dino Depot: The Nuke can be found on the top of the yellow box car. You must have the Jump Boots to reach it.

Hint: Defeating Bruckner:
To kill Bruckner, the last Boss in the game, run a safe distance from him. Line him up with a tree so that it is in front and Brucker behind. When Bruckner gets close to the tree, shoot it onto him. Note: The tree takes more hits than usual to take down. It should kill Bruckner in one hit. This also has the same affect on other enemies.

Hint: Defeating Lurtz:
Lurts starts by shooting arrows. As Aragorn, deflect them with your sword then fire a charged arrow at him. Keep repeating this until the intermission sequence where he grabs a sword from the ground begins. When he charges you, kill the minions that appear and try to hide behind one of the marble statues surrounding the arena. He will stab it, stick in, then be open for an attack. Use the Triangle thrust. Normally, two shots can be dealt and sometimes a third if you are lucky. Note: This is under the easy and normal difficulty setting. Also, when he rips his sword from the marble statue, it disintegrates, dropping health, arrows or other useful items.

When you get to the end of the Amon Hen mission, you will fight Lurtz. He will take out his bow and fire at you. Deflect the arrows, hide behind a statue, and use a projectile attack. Once he takes out his scimitar, try to get him to follow you to one of the statues. He will try to slash you, but his scimitar will go into the statue. While his scimitar is in the statue, fierce attack him as many times as possible. Another Uruk-Hai will try to help Lurtz kill you while his scimitar is stuck. Kill the Uruk-Hai while Lurtz is stuck.

Hint: Defeating the Orc Overseer riding the Warg:
Take care of the Wargs and riders that are present when the battle starts. The Wargs charge, but just step out of the way. Fierce Attack as they pass and stop. Soon, you will be facing just the Orc Overseer on his Warg, who deflects every arrow with his sword. Close attacks are similarly foiled by the Warg biting you, lifting you into the air, and the Overseer slashes at you. He also charges, and the Warg swerves to hit you, and succeeds virtually every time, so take care of him as soon as possible. The Overseer regularly calls another Orc and Warg into the battle. Dispatch it in the same way as the others, but try to stay close to the Overseer. When you kill the summoned Orc and Warg, the Overseer's Warg rears up. When it does, run in behind it and Fierce Attack the Orc. You can usually get three good hits on him this way. After the third hit, he will slash you -- go back and wait for the next Orc and Warg to be summoned. Dispatch them and wait for the Overseer's Warg to rear again. Repeat this three to four times to defeat him.

When you first encounter the Orc Overseer, he will have approximately four other Warg Riders with him. Dispatch these using any means necessary (projectile attacks work well), then get ready for the Overseer himself. Do not get too close or the Warg will bite you and the Orc riding it will slash you. Stay a safe distance away and the Overseer will charge. Parry the charge and you will receive little, if any, damage. Successfully parry a second charge and the Warg will back away and rear up on its hind legs. Move in and use any of the attack combinations to cause damage. Occasionally the Overseer will call in another Warg to help. Fire projectiles at this "helper" to eliminate it. Continue to parry the Overseer's charges. It will rear up after every second charge, at which time you can move in and eliminate him.

When you first see the Orc Overeseer, he will have about four other allies with him. These are easy to kill. Do so, and you will face the Orc Overseer. You cannot shoot him, because he deflects your arrows/axes, and you cannot attack him because his Warg will bite and lift you into the air for the Orc Overseer to slash. He will charge at you. Parry those attacks. After about two charges, he will rear his Warg. Instead of going behind at this point, shoot it with an axe/arrow. It will fall and whine. Then, move in and slash the overseer with fierce attacks, combos, etc. This takes about half of his life away. He will send in a warg ally, which is useful. Whenever you kill him, he will drop arrows or life. Repeat this process until you win.

Shoot his Warg when he rears up, then attack the Overseer while he is stunned.

You must first defeat the four other Warg Riders. To do this, dodge the charging Wargs. When they miss, they will stop. This is your chance to attack. When the Overseer charges, you cannot dodge because he swerves and hits you. You cannot hit him while charging -- he will just grab your leg and hit you. When fighting the Boss, wait in the water for him to lift up in the air. He will do this after three charges. After the third charge, run up to the middle area (but not up to him). Then, ready a throwing axe or bow. When he lifts in the air, fire. It will daze him. While he is dazed, run up and hit him with one or two fierce attacks. Do this several times to defeat him.

Hint: Defeating Ringwraiths:
The only two attacks you should do when fighting these, is the parry attack (Square) and fierce attack (Triangle). Every time one attacks you, press Square, then counter with a double fierce attack (Triangle). This should give you an easily earned "Perfect" at the end of the level.

In the level 2, use the torch to set them on fire. Wiggle the Right Analog-stick to light them up easier. Keep doing this until they are defeated.

Hint: Defeating Trolls:
In the levels with Trolls, you can kill them easily without getting hit once. Run up to a Troll after it has thrown a log at you or tried to hit you. Press Triangle once only, then run away. Do not run too far. Stay close, but not too close for it to hit you. Wait until it takes a swipe at you, then run back at it and press Triangle once again. Repeat this until it is dead.

Run up to a Troll and use your fierce attack. When he is about to hit you, jump back (L2). Continue this to defeat it.

Wait for a troll to approach you. While you wait, hold Triangle and let your sword (if playing as Aragorn) or axe (if playing as Gimli) charge. This power-up is the one where the weapon catches on fire, and is one of the last upgrades you can get. When the troll approaches, release Triangle. If the attack is well placed, it should kill the troll instantly. The same can be done for Berserkers.

When battling Trolls, first rush in and fierce attack. Depending on your character, you can get up to two attacks in (Aragon and Legolas). Then, press L2 to jump back. This will put you out of the range of their clubs. This works well against the Cave Troll in Moria. but can fail against the two Forest Trolls in Fangorn because one will just throw logs.

During the Secret Mission, play as any character and use devastating attacks. Go near the Troll and hold Triangle until your character stops, then attack.

Hint: Defeating strong Uruk Hai:
The strongest Uruk Hai have a sword, no armor, and have only white on their faces. Shooting them with arrows and setting them on fire works well.

Hint: Defeating enemies:
If you are having problems killing some of the Berserkers, Urk Hai, etc., try one of the following two tricks. First, let the archers target you then run. Have another enemy between you and the archer. The archer will now hit your opponent instead of you. Second, allow a Troll to spot you and have it come towards you. When it does, run on the other side of a group of enemies. The Troll will knock them out of the way so it can get to you. This can also be useful when you have to fight more than one Troll.

Hint: Balin's Tomb: Defeating the Stone Troll:
Once you enter the mines of Moria, waves of trolls will file through the door. Fight these off until a short intermission starts and the Stone Troll appears. The best way to defeat him is to dodge his attacks and fire when you can. After the Stone Troll has taken some damage, another short intermission will begin. You will find yourself on a ledge lined with pillars between you and the Stone Troll. The troll now attacks with a chain. It only takes two to three hits to kill you. Hide behind the pillars when the troll swings his chain at you. You will see dust fly from the pillars when he hits it. Jump out and fire as many arrows as you can at him. There are more arrows to the far right of the ledge. Every now and then, a goblin will appear on the ledge. One fierce attack usually takes care of them.

At first you will just have to fight a group of Orcs. These should not be too difficult. Keep killing them until there is an intermission sequence in which the Stone Troll appears. If you are low on health, stay away from the Stone Troll and keep killing Orcs. Some of them will have green potions. When you have good health, wait until the Stone Troll finishes an attack, then go up to his stomach and keep using your fierce attack. Do not go away -- press the D-pad towards him so you do not get too far away and thus allow him to hit you. After awhile, you will see an intermission sequence where you have to go up on the ledge while he uses his chains. It is best to have Aragorn or Legolas on this stage because of this section. At first, kill the Orc to your left. Then, run back and forth across this ledge. When he uses his chains, he will miss you, then remain still for a moment. When this happens, you should be able to get about three arrows out on him. If you run low on arrows, the far right side of the ledge has some. If you run low on health, dodge the chains and wait until the second or third Orc attacks you. One of them will have a green potion.

Hint: Fangorn: Defeating the Forest Trolls:
Rush in and fierce attack on of the Trolls. Depending on your character, you can get up to two attacks in (Aragon and Legolas). Then, press L2 to jump back. This will put you out of the range of its clubs. Note: One will just throw logs. After killing one of the Trolls, your life will now probably be very low (in the red or yellow). Return the way you came, back down the hill to the point where the intermission sequence began. On one side, you will see a second passage. Go into the passage and fierce attack the vines. Note: If you do this before going into the Troll battle, the vines will not break. Enter the little room. It looks like the Trolls would be able to get you, but there is a wall. Break the chest to get a full heal. Use it, then go back and kill the second Troll.

Hint: Gates Of Moria: Defeating The Watcher:
When facing the Boss, it does not matter who you are in this mission. Run into the water. The Watcher will raise its tentacles out of the water. Parry to block the tentacle's strikes. After being blocked, the tentacle will still remain out of the water. Chop it off. The Watcher will then leave the water. Use your arrows/throwing axes to hit it in the head region. Continue to block the strikes from the tentacles. After every tentacle you cut off, The Watcher will surface. He will usually die after about five well-placed arrows.

Hint: Helm's Deep: The Breached Wall:
At the start, your chosen character will be shown closing the door, and you must protect it. There is a meter in the upper right corner of the screen. It is best to use Legolas for this level. At first, all you have to do is shoot down Orcs with explosives. Once they are hit, they will explode. Do not hit them close to the door. After awhile, regular Orcs and Uruk Hai will start entering and slashing at the wall. Try to explode the dynamite Orcs by the Orcs that run in. Destroy all of them, and also keep the suicidal Orcs back. If you have too many Orcs by the door, and the door has a lot of health, you can blow up a suicidal Orc by them -- it will kill them all. After a bit, a Troll will appear and try to hit door. You have to keep the exploding Orcs back also. Once the Troll is killed, and a couple more Orcs appear, a huge catapult will enter. Run up to it, and kill the Orcs guarding it. Then, hit it. It is best to use Elven Fury (hold Triangle, then release) to hit it. You can hit it about four times, then you will have to go to the other side -- always check to see if you are actually doing damage.

Hint: Helm's Deep: Hornburg Courtyard battle:
Fight with Gimli, keying on killing the enemies attacking the gates. When Legolas/Aragorn cries for help, go to the highest level on the stairs and kill the Orcs. Stay on the wall, killing the Orcs up there. The wall's life will stay the same. Stay up there awhile after you kill the archers, then go down. If you stayed upstairs long enough, the Trolls will soon appear.

Hint: Helm's Deep: The Deeping Wall:
This level, although appearing simple, is actually quite difficult. When you begin, a certain amount of ladders will be up against the wall. Knock them down by pressing Circle. The diagram of the wall in the top right corner of the screen shows where the ladders are located. Soon, a large amount of Orcs will gain access to the wall. Eliminating the Orcs is a key to completing the level, but knocking down the ladders is still a major priority. An intermission sequence will follow, with enemy archers firing at the wall. After this, even more Orcs will pour in and ladders will go up more quickly. Continue to knock down the ladders, killing as many Orcs as possible. Another intermission sequence will have a catapult launching rocks at the wall. By this time, giant armored Uruk Hai will be present. Killing these armored behemoths is a must, but make sure you still knock down the ladders. Keep the meter in the yellow area and you should be all right. If it begins to flash red and white, the mission will fail.

The easiest way to complete this level is to knock down the ladders. Only concentrate on the ladders on the right hand side and in the center, not the left. This is to avoid getting caught up in the killing fiasco. When you are only knocking down the ladders in the center and right hand side of the wall, you can go back and forth, hitting them down. Only kill the Orcs in your way, not the orcs killing the other men, but the ones killing you. Even if they are trying to attack you, just run away. The other men will take care of them. There is a quick and easy way to remember when it will end. It usually takes anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 minutes to have the sequence with the Orc archers firing the arrows. Then, it takes another 30 seconds to 3 minutes for the catapult sequence to happen. After that, when you hear a single horn blowing, indicating that it will end.

Hint: Helm's Deep: The Deeping Wall: Easy "Excellent" kills:
To score easy "Excellent" kills, kick invaders off the wall in the same manner as you do the ladders. This is a fast and effective way to take care of the Uruk Hai.

Hint: Hornburg Courtyard: Extra help:
When Legolas or Aragorn cries out for help, depending which character you are and you have saved them, stay up there and fight off the Orcs. Notice that there are Rohan soldiers fighting along with you. When they die, and you get overwhelmed, return to the area where you saved your comrade. Then, go back to the area where you were fighting. There will be multiple Rohan soldiers fighting along side with you. This can be done more than once.

Hint: Tower Of Orthanc: Easy way to kill archers:
When you get to the levels with the archers, stand in front of one of them, so that the archer is acting like a shield to you. The other archers will just keep shooting your "shield" until it dies. It is a good idea to keep your "deflecting of the arrows" on by pressing L1 + Square.

Hint: Westfold: Do not explode the explosives:
In The Westfold level, you do not have to destroy the explosives as described by the Rohan soldier. You can leave all of the explosives alone. You only need to destroy the row of carts carrying the explosives at the end of the level.

Hint: Westfold: Easy experience:
When facing the Orc Overseer, you can keep killing the Warg riders for experience. Hit the Overseer four times so that his health is in the red, then continue to avoid his attacks by running in the water. Then, keep killing the Warg riders until you are satisfied and finally finish off the Overseer. This is a good way to level up a character who is at a low level.

Hint: Easy level:
The easiest way to level up is to repeatedly enable the "Add 1000 experience points" code. Each time you level up, you will hear a noise along with the sword.

Hint: Easy experience:
Note: This trick only works with Aragorn. At the start of each level, go to the options menu and change difficulty to hard. Kill one enemy, then return the difficulty back to easy.

Hint: Easy Perfects:
Use the following trick to get east "Perfects" on enemies without repeatedly hitting them. Get any of the death moves for any character. Use this attack on enemies and the color meter will grow to high green. If you finish off the enemy with the last Triangle in the death move, it will make the "Perfect" glow appear. You can hit a lot of perfects doing this. This is good for Legolas, but it will practice to master it with Gimli, as he is slower than the other characters.

This trick is easiest when done with Legolas because of the way he moves. After you get to level 8, purchase Elrond's, Islidur's, or Balin's Judgment. Work on using it and getting very proficient with it. After mastering it, go to any level you want to get a Perfect on. This will not work every time, but if you can kill two enemies using the Judgment, you can usually get a perfect devastating sword. After you get this, go around killing as many enemies as possible, then repeat.

Hint: Easy "Excellent" rank:
When you can play levels over again, use this trick. It will take several attempts, depending on your skill. In all of the levels (excluding Weathertop, Amon Hen, Plains of Rohan, Breached Wall, and the Helms Deep), you can complete the level with an "Excellent" rank, just by killing one or two Orcs, and getting "Excellent". Kill a few Orcs at the beginning of the level (five or more), getting an "Excellent" rank. Then, run near to the end of the level. For example, in the Gates of Moria level kill off the first few Orcs with your Linked Move until the intermission sequence with the arrow and the Orc and Gimli. Then, run to the part where you need to kill the Watcher, and do not kill any Orcs on the way, unless you have to. No orcs will follow you to the Boss part after you have started it. Kill the Watcher. When your kills get counted, as you will see, you will have more "Excellent" kills.

Hint: Putting out fires:
Many parts of the game will require you to put out a fire or save people in order to move on to the next area. Look for a barrel in the area of the fire. Smash it with a speed attack and water will flow out, extinguishing any fires it can.

Hint: Destroying shields:
As Legolas or Aragorn, reach level 8. Use the bow and arrow to aim at the shield, then hold X for five to ten seconds.

Hint: Avoiding Warg charges:
To avoid a Warg charge, stand in the water.

Hint: Playing as Legolas:
Choose Legolas and use the codes to get all the upgrades. You can now fight from afar. Use your glowing arrows to shoot any enemy, unless they have a shield. If this is the case, use your Triangle attack to break the shield. You can then either knock them down and shoot an arrow when they get up, or just slice them with your swords. When fighting in the last Helms Deep level, this is useful. Only a few Orcs will attack when you shoot. Although you will not be able to see, you can still shoot and hit, as long as you are aiming at the door.

Glitch: The Gates of Moria: Blue light:
Select Aragorn with all upgrades or Isildur with all upgrades (at least the upgrade with Gondor Arrows).When you are killing the Watcher and his life is down to the point that one more hit will kill it, fire the last arrow. Hold L1 while it shows the ending sequence of the Watcher dying. When it shows you after the Watcher disappears into the water, you will that your character has a blue light where the tip of the arrow would be, only he is now holding his sword.

Glitch: Fighting the Cave Troll:
When fighting the Cave Troll in Balin's Tomb, after he hits a column with his mace and breaks it, he takes out his chain whip. When you are running to get up to safety on the outer rim of the room, there is nobody there except for you, the Cave Troll, some quivers with arrows in them, and some potions. Everybody else disappears. They return when you get up to safety, and start fighting the Cave Troll again.

Hint: Defeating demons:
To defeat demons faster, stand in a doorway and fire projectiles at them then feed on their souls. This works best if they hit a wall as you fire.

Hint: Invincibility:
When you have all the Elemental Reavers, go to the castle where you began. Use the Fire Reaver on the floor. It has the sign of the Fire Reaver and is orange. Plunge the sword into it, then get the light. Use it on the door, then keep going until you get to a room where the Soul Reaver is located. Mobius will appear and insult Raziel. He will then take the Soul Reaver and be invincible. Note: You will suck blood instead of souls and also fight all Raziel's brothers and Raziel when he was human.

Hint: Close up of Raziel:
Get to a wall, then move the camera in front of Raziel. Hold Circle to see a close-up view of his face.

Hint: Go through locked door to real Soulreaver:
After the intermission sequence when Raziel gets the Soulreaver and he gets controlled by it, Mobius will close the door. Defeat everyone down where you had to turn to the different world, then go in the middle of the lock to go through.

Glitch: Blocked door:
Position yourself slightly to the left of any door that has a handle. Try to open it and it will, but you will not go through.

Glitch: Lost weapon:
Get a weapon and get to a place where there is no roof, or to the lake. Aim the weapon at the sky and throw it. It will not come back down.
 
Glitch: Missing Soul Reaver part:
Get to a save point and take the Soul Reaver out. Save, then quit the game. Load the previously saved game and Raziel will not have the top part of the Soul Reaver. To make it fully formed again,
press Circle(2).

Glitch: Stuck in forge:
On the ledge in the swamp just in front of the first forge (the dark forge) are some crows. Do not go near them. If you do, you can still get inside but you can never open the door again to get out. Getting out requires an intermission sequence with Voridor. Since the crows are his messengers, if they disappear the intermission sequence will not happen, thus, you cannot get out.

You can go up to the crows if you wish. Here is how you can still get out. The crows have nothing to do with it. The actual glitch is that if you try to open the door to exit using the Dark Soul Reaver, it will seal with you inside. Before you open the door, shift to the Spectral Realm and back into the Material Realm so that you will have the normal Soul Reaver with no special elements. Return to the door and you can open and exit the ruins. The Dark Soul Reaver is what holds you from exiting. You must use the normal Soul Reaver to open the ruins door.

Hint: Faster Zoomer:
Hold L1 + R1 to go faster on the Zoomer, at the expense of maneuverability.

Hint: Shoot cannons farther:
To make the cannons at Misty Island and Sentinel Beach shoot farther, hold Square or Circle + X. This helps with any steel boxes.


Hint: Super jump:
Press L1 + X. If timed correctly, you will go into a crouch position and spring higher that you would by double jumping (X, X).

Do the rolling jump, then just as you touch the ground, press X. You will jump as high as the double jump.

After double jumping, press Circle rapidly for a longer jump.

Hint: Avoid fall damage:
Press Circle to spin kick just before you hit the ground and you will land perfectly every time.

Hint: Swim faster:
Instead of holding the Analog-stick in the direction you want to swim, keep tapping the Analog-stick in that direction. By doing this, you will move about twice as fast.

Hint: Flying:
In training mode, get Blue Eco to go through a door; instead jump off the mountain side with rocks. If done correctly you will be flying until the Blue Eco runs out.

Hint: Defeating the Giant Plant:
At the Giant Plant in the Forbidden Jungle level, run from the first spike bug until the spikes go in, then destroy it. The plant will try to eat you. Dodge it, and it will go to sleep. Jump up on the leaves and hit the flower part. Repeat this another two times. After he collapses, jump on his head and an orb will appear. Jump on the head until no more orbs come out.

Hint: Defeating the Klaww:
At the Klaww in the Mountain Pass level, dodge the boulders. The last one he throws will contain Blue Eco. Get it, and a bridge will appear. Run to the end, dodging the boulders as you go. Get the Yellow Eco at the end, and when he starts to make a big boulder, fire away. Keep blasting him until he drops the boulder on his head, then run back to the first three platforms and repeat the process another two times.

Hint: Get to Yellow Sage:
When you get to Gol and Maia's Citadel, free the Blue Sage first and go on the Blue Eco platform. Roll, then jump off. You will be able to free the Yellow Sage without having to go through the obstacles. Note: This may require some practice to avoid falling.

Hint: Power Cells:
Go in the Forbidden Jungle and talk to the person that is standing on a bridge. If you catch 200 pounds of fish, he will give you a Power Cell and let you ride his boat until dark.

To get the electricity to work for Sandover Village. go into the Forbidden Jungle and go behind the big building. There should be a little building on the right. Get on top of it and break the mirror by kicking it in the air. Follow the beam to the next pole. Keep on doing this until it is done, then go to the mayor for a Power Cell.

Hint: Extra Precursor Orbs:
After defeating the giant plant in the Forbidden Jungle, go back and jump on what looks like the left eye of the plant. An orb will appear. Grab it and repeat. You should be able to get at least four orbs out of it.

Hint: Unlimited Green Eco:
When fighting rats in Boggy Swamp, do not destroy their nest. They are very easy to defeat and give you four pieces of Green Eco each. If you are low on life, destroy some rats.

Hint: Dark Crystal locations:

Hanging in Gnawing Lerker area. Same height as the power cell. It is easy to shoot and find.

On the way to the Robot area. It is harder to shoot, easy to hit, and easy to find.

Near Dark Cave entrance. It is easy to shoot and find. Use platforms to hit.

Near Dark Cave entrance. Cross Dark Eco with platforms. You should be able to find some clean water on the other side of some Dark Eco. You must use the rolling jump (L1 or R1 and jump when you finish rolling) or you cannot get across the Dark Eco. Swim down and get close enough and it will explode. It is difficult to get to.

In Dark Cave, after you pass the second hanging spider and before the first rotating platform. Near the crystal that is after the second spider, you can find some clean water. Swim down and get close enough and it will explode.

Glitch: Walking on Sad Guys back:
Go on stairs behind him and walk forward.

Glitch: Stand on Yakkows:
After you round up all the Yakkows in their pen for the farmer, get next to or on top of one. Press Circle and the Yakkow will moo. Quickly jump on top of it. Instead of hopping off like usual, you will stand on its back for a little while.

Glitch: Stand on Points:
On Geyser Rock, go straight until you reach the Points, but do not go over them. Stand slightly away and slowly walk to the Points. If done correctly, you should be able to stand on one of the Points. Do not move around a lot or else you will lose a health point.

 

James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire

Golden gun:
Successfully complete the Trouble In Paradise level with a "Gold" rank. This cheat unlocks the Golden P2K. With this gun, you receive a silencer which the normal P2K does not have.

To do this easily, get as much accuracy as you can, take as less hits as you can, and do all the Bond moves (shooting barrels to explode, shooting vital enemy characters and find secret areas).

Golden gun in multi-player mode:
Successfully complete the Precious Cargo level with a "Platinum" rank and all 007 icons.

Golden CH-6:
Successfully complete the Precious Cargo level with a "Gold" rank. When used, this cheat gives you unlimited rockets.

To do this easily, aim carefully and shoot the men out of the helicopters to get the gold medal. Also shoot the gasoline tanks at the roadblocks and shoot the gas station's pumps.

Golden accuracy power-up:
Successfully complete the Bad Diplomacy level with a "Gold" rank. This cheat enables you to have greater auto-aim.

Wear the Q-Specs and look around the laser. There will be a secret box that you walk approach and press Action. Then, take out your laser and zap it. The laser will now be off.

Hint: Bad Diplomacy: Easy platinum medal:
Note: This trick requires already having a gold medal on this level. Practice the level to learn where all the enemies and 007 icons are, as well as the location of the secret room. Then, just run in very quickly, kill every enemy with one shot (excluding Griffin, who needs two shots), and just escape.

Hint: Bad Diplomacy: Extra points:
You will get almost double points for subduing the guards and Griffin with your hands. If done under the "00 Agent" difficulty setting, you will get even more.

Turn off all three alarm lasers.
Open the secret door at the end of the hallway.

Approach the piano and press Square.

Go into the left door and take the picture. Then, go into the next room and immediately when you enter, stop. Manually aim at the man's head and shoot him. Then, break the glass and take it out. Go behind the wall thing to find some body armor. Note: When you do this, the alarm will go off. Jump out, turn the alarm off, and shoot everyone.

Hint: Cold Reception: Grenade kills:
When you get to the end of the ventilation shaft with a man with a Frinesi shotgun, shoot him in the head. When he dies, throw a grenade into the doorway. It should ricochet and blow up all the explosive barrels, killing most of the enemies. Then, two men should run in. Back up and throw a grenade at the wall. It should bounce under you and kill the last two men.

Hint: Cold Reception: Display case:
To get to the rocket launcher and body armor in the display case without tripping the alarm, go to the room that contains the blueprints. There should be a picture of one of the twins on the wall. Approach it and press Square. The picture should slide back, allowing you to walk into the display case to get those items.

Hint: Cold Reception: Good vent usage:
After you download the dataport information, use the Q-Claw to get in the vent. At the end of the vent, do not jump. Instead, Q-Claw to the next vent. If you have a gold medal, this is the one with a 007 icon. Press Select to take the silencer off the P2K or GG. Shoot and you will hear guards yelling. They should sound the alarm. Run to the end of the vent but do not jump out. Wait there and all the guards will gather around a barrel. When you see a guard, shoot the barrel. The splash damage will kill them all. Get their ammunition. Sometimes, one or two of them will live -- take out your KS7 to be safe.

Hint: Cold Reception: 007 icons:

The first 007 icon is in the right door when you start. Click the buzzer to open the door. Note: There are guards in there.

The second 007 icon is in the vents, in the rooms on the left of where you start. When you get into the room, use your Q-Laser to unlock the vent. Then, follow it until you find a 007 icon.

The third 007 icon is after the elevator. Kill the guard standing there, then go down the stairs and immediately turn right. There should be a 007 icon there.

After using the second elevator, go to the door, but do open it. Use your Q-Claw and go through the vent on top of it. Craw through until you get to the end. Look to the left and try to use your Q-Claw. If you get it, claw through until you get a 007 icon.

The next 007 icon is immediately after the previous one. Jump down from the vent where you got the last one, and it will be there.

The last two 007 icons are in the big room with the gas tanks and guards. Kill all the guards in the room, then look around to find them.

Hint: Cold Reception: Bond Moves:

Use the Q-Laser on the first Duct lock and crawl into the duct.

Get the access card (Key Card) from middle hallway bookshelf.

Take a picture of model Oil Rig in computer room.

Use Q-Claw to enter the first two vents (the first vent is straight away from the door and the second is straight in running distance from drop in first vent center).

Use Q-Remote to acquire the Security card from the guard. To get there, turn left upon entering the second vent. It is difficult to see -- make sure you are looking forward and not up.

Disable a guard by shooting the Steam Tank handle off.

Open the security door with the Q-Remote and stolen Security Card.

Hint: Dangerous Pursuit: Hidden area:
Drive until you are out of the shipping. Take a right turn and you will see another street at your left, turn immediately. Keep driving until you see a lot of flashing lights. Turn into that building and drive at full speed up the stairs. This will take you to an area. Keep driving and you will go flying through a billboard featured in an intermission sequence.

Hint: Dangerous Pursuit: Hidden items:
You can go through a hotel and get a Q- Booster, a Q-Pulse, and Armor. First, after going through the tunnel, go right, then right again. Next, go left, then go straight for three intersections. Then, take an immediate left and the hotel should be on the corner. Go through the glass with the red carpet on the bottom.

Hint: Dangerous Pursuit: Hidden jump:
As soon a you exit the first tunnel with the two guards on the walkway, take a right, turn followed by a left turn, then a right turn, then another right turn. This should lead to an area between two buildings with lights and banners hung between them. There will be a Q-Boost next to a tree in the middle. Next, take a left turn, and then a right turn at the corner down the road (not the turn directly in front of you at the road). At the next corner to the left, you should see a canopy with lights and another Q-Boost in front of it. Back up facing the corner and go through the doors at full speed. These are the only doors which you can go through. Drive up the stairs at full speed. You will jump to another building's roof. This building has armor and a Q-Pulse. Continue driving at full speed, and boost at the top of the building before the Q-Pulse. An intermission sequence will show you crashing through the billboard in front of the Q-Pulse. Do this again and you will jump far out on the road, without the intermission sequence. This a good thing to do if you want armor, a Q-Pulse, or a little fun.

Hint: Dangerous Pursuit: Blow up cars:
Keep ramming on a car until it is basically destroyed. After it has heavy damage, turn around and drive farther, then turn around and hit the car at full speed. Then the car should make an explosion sound and start spewing smoke. Keep ramming the car until you hear the explosion.

Hint: Dangerous Pursuit: 007 icons:

At the start of the level, turn the car around and go to the end (start) of the shipyard. A 007 icon is there.

A gas station is at the northwest corner of the map. When you approach it, men will start shooting at you. Shoot back to destroy the gas station. A 007 icon is located between the burning gas pumps.

At the northwest end of the map, there is a warehouse near a pier. Drive around it until you see a hallway. Drive through the hallway to pick up a 007 icon.

There are two more 007 Icons on this level, one is inside the crate in the beginning of the level. Shoot the crate to reveal the icon, or just drive right through it.

The last one is at the northwest end of the map. After you blow up the gas station, drive along the left side of the street until you see the icon. You may have to make a U-turn to get to it.

Hint: Dangerous Pursuit: Bond Moves:

Blow up barrels at first road block.

Shoot barrels to eliminate the enemy in the tunnel.

Use Q-Smoke to get rid of the car that follows you during your pursuit with the armored van.

Stop the van with Q-Pulse on the first try.

At the location where you have to use your Q-Remote on one of the towers, you can continuously get a Bond Move from it. Therefore, you will keep getting points for it.

Hint: Evil Summit: Extra ammunition:
Walk through the only door you can open. Kill the guard and use your Q-Laser to open the box with the sniper rifle. Use it to pick off the snipers. Use the P2K if you do not have enough ammunition. Then, go up the towers and get the ammunition. Use the elevator to go back down. Do not use the tram cable. Kill the few guards around the heli-pad and make sure to pick up the D17 that they carry. Then, walk back to the towers that the snipers were at. Walk back to the heli-pad. More men will now be there for the killing. Get their ammunition. This can be repeated as many times as needed to get large amounts of ammunition for one of the best guns in the game.

Hint: Evil Summit: Survive towers:
Go across from the tower where you can ride to the other tower. When you land, do not ride the other one or you will probably get killed. Instead, snipe the guards or ride the elevator down and use the boxes for cover. After about fifty are dead, they will stop appearing. Get the ammunition and go back up the elevator (or if you sniped, ride it down). Make sure the door does not open. You must be good at head shots or you will be killed. Either way, you will get a Bond Move.

Hint: Evil Summit: Defeating Bloch:
After you shoot Bloch enough with your D17 to make him use his jet pack and get onto the highest level, fill up your own and follow him. There are four platforms, all connected by stairs. Get on one of the higher two and wait for Bloch to get on one of the adjacent lower platforms. If you are standing in the correct position, you will be able to see Bloch's head but not his MRL22. This means you can shoot him in the face with your sniper rifle (SSR4000), but his rocket launcher will hit the bottom of the platform, not doing any damage to you. A few quick shots to the face and he will go to the pipe on the top floor. Use your Q-Jet to get on the catwalk in the middle that Bloch blew up, then use your Q-Claw to get to the pipe. Go through the pipe, pick up his MRL22, and kill him.

Bloch will be equipped with a rocket launcher, which you will need to dodge if you want to stay alive. Run around shooting Bloch with a gun such as the PS100 until he flies up to the second floor. Then, there are four platforms on each side of the main room, which Bloch will jet to clockwise. When he first jets up to the second floor, run under the platform he is standing on and pull out a gun such as the UGW or D17 (or if you are very accurate, the SSR 4000). Wait for him to jet to the next platform. If you run out of ammunition for either of these guns, just fire at him with your PS100. When he does jet, snipe him until about when he lands on the other platform then run under the next one, directly under him. Do this until he flies up to the third floor, blows up the connector to all the platforms, and escapes through the blue tunnel. Fill up your Q-jet and carefully boost onto the hanging end of the connector. Then, run up as far up as you can to find a Q-Claw mesh above the tunnel entrance. Claw up and take the tunnel into the main room that you were in as the reporter "Mr. Somerset". Bloch will be hovering in front of the stained glass window of Malprave. Pick up the rocket launcher (which you will get automatically) and blow out Bloch once before the time runs out. He will fly out the window. You will fly out the window onto Zoe's jet.

Hint: Evil Summit: 007 icons:
Once you get all of these and defeat Bloch, you should get a Platinum medal (if you got enough points), and unlock the Carrier Guard model in multi-player mode.

There are two 007 icons on the first towers where you start. Kill the snipers and go up the elevators to get them.

The third 007 icon is on the balcony where they show you if you are on the Operative difficulty setting. Go up on the balcony by using the ladder and get it. There is also body Armor, and if you use your Q-laser on the wires the floor in the middle will drop and kill the guard.

The fourth 007 icon is in Silo 1, at the bottom.

The fifth 007 icon at the very right side of the hallway in Silo 2.

The last 007 icon is at the bottom of Silo 4 by the door.

Hint: Fire And Water: Hidden weapons:
At the starting position, turn to the right and jump on top of the boxes (by the armor). Scale along the boxes until you are on top of the orange barrel, then turn toward the other two orange barrels located in front of the white tanks. Next, jump to these barrels from the boxes. While on top of the barrels, take out your gun and look down. Jump and shoot the barrel. You should be propelled upwards. Use the Analog-stick to land on top of the two white tanks. Once you are on top of the tanks, select "Use". This cheat will give you two frag grenades and an SSR 4000. You can now snipe patrolling guards on the rig platforms.

Hint: Fire And Water: Shortcut:
In the second part of this level (where the giant pumps are located), instead of having to turn on the pumps, dealing with killing everyone else, then getting the timing correctly when jumping onto the pumps, just refuel your jet pack. Stand on the platform as close as you can to one of the them and use your Q-Jet to get through the opening in the ceiling.

Hint: Fire And Water: Quick objective:
Once you use your Q-Laser to open the door lock and the lock that leads to the ladder, go up the ladder and kill the men that are in your path. If you do not want to kill the men below, quickly run over to the door and press Action. You will now have completed your objective quickly.

Hint: Fire And Water: Killing snipers:
When you are in the oil pumps room, take out your sniper gun and fire at the sniper's feet. They will die instantly. When you get out of the pump room, use the Q-Remote on the green signals.

When you get to the part where there are two snipers on two platforms with green signals (or red, depending on if you got the green signal at the start of the level), take out your Q-Remote and put it on manual aim. Click on the green signals. The two snipers will stay on the platforms, still trying to eliminate you, and fall to their watery grave.

Hint: Fire And Water: 007 icons:

The first 007 icon is found after chasing away Bloch for the first time. After killing the helicopter and the four guards while in the room, go out the door. Directly ahead is a gas tank. Shoot it to find the 007 icon.

After chasing away Bloch, use your Q-Laser and open the door. Then, turn left and use it on the vent. Follow the path until you reach the room. Kill the guards and get the 007 icon in the back-left corner.

After getting the second 007 icon, follow the vent back out. Then, go left where the two cranes are located. The third 007 icon should be there, but watch out for more guards and the helicopter.

After getting the third 007 icon, go under the platform where b#loch stands. The fourth 007 icon should be there.

In the pump room, the fifth 007 icon can be found in the back right corner. Kill all of the men first, then get it. You can see it from the first staircase.

After escaping the pump room, the next two 007 icons are located outside where you enter the tower. Do not enter the tower. Kill the two men first, then look around for them.

The last 007 icon is located where the helicopter tries to shoot you at the top of the tower. Kill the helicopter, then look around for the 007 icon.

Hint: Forbidden Depths: Hidden messages:
At the first station you stop at, there is a scrolling message which says "World Domination Seminar".

When you first stop, look at the green scrolling message bar at the top. It says "Fishing is prohibited while on duty".

Hint: Forbidden Depths: Destroying automatic machine guns:
To destroy the automatic machine guns, aim at the turret, or if you have the shotgun, blast them and the platform holding the gun.

Hint: Forbidden Depths: CH-6 Rocket Launcher:
Shoot out all four of the blue rectangular lights at the first tram station where they ambush you. You will get the rocket launcher as you exit the room.

When you save the Navy girl, she opens a door. Go to the tram cable. Press Square, then tap Square very quickly. You will see a grate. Open it, then press the button. Zoe will escape. To kill the thugs, shoot any barrel.

The first two 007 icons are where you start; one on the deck and one in the Brig.

The third 007 icon is in the vent that starts in the Brig.

The fourth 007 icon is in the vent that starts in the room where you see your first white suit guard.

The fifth 007 icon is after the sniper. After killing the guards and the sniper, go to the room where you see the white suited guard and kill him. Then, go outside and it will be there on the deck.

The sixth 007 icon is also by the sniper. Look around the room where you saw the sniper.

The seventh 007 icon is near the tall staircase. Go under the staircase and it is hidden behind some crates.

The eighth 007 icon is after the hostage is saved by using your Q-laser. Go outside and go down the little hole. You will land on top of it.

When you quickly save Zoe, she will crouch behind some boxes. Zoom the SSR 4000 in under her legs to see her underwear.

Hint: Night Of The Jackal: Killing Carla:
Use the following trick to kill the lady at the end of the level with a Bond Move. Start shooting at the lady until she is standing in front of the machine. When she is there, move to the right wall behind the boxes. Next to you is a green action button. Press Square on this to knock her in a ventilation shaft with a fan blades on the top, which will chop her to bits. You will then be credited for a Bond Move.

Use the following trick to kill the lady at the end of the level with a Bond Move. When you open the doors that leads to the room where she is located, do not enter the room yet. Instead, shoot the gas barrels behind her to give her some damage. Then, enter the room and position yourself under her, so that you can shoot her through the grid floor. Just keep shooting at her, and when she is in front of the lift, go behind the crates near the right wall of the room and activate the button. The lift will then push her into the fan. By doing this, you can easily kill her without getting hurt, and you will also be credited with a Bond Move.

Hint: Night Of The Jackal: Nude woman:
Immediately before entering the safe house, get the thug's sniper rifle. Enter the safe house. Immediately when you enter the bathroom, do not get too close to the shower or a intermission sequence will appear and take the woman away. Instead stand there, take out the sniper rifle and aim at her. Use the Right Analog-stick to zoom in and see through the shower and see the woman nude.

Hint: Night Of The Jackal: Avoiding guards in kitchen:
When you have to run through a kitchen and you will always hit something onto the floor. A guard or two will rush in to investigate. You can avoid knocking those things over by pressing Triangle to jump over them.

When you go into the kitchen, go through using the left or right path. If you go through the middle, a guard will see you and start shooting.

Hint: Night Of The Jackal: Destroying helicopter:
At the end of the level, after you have killed the lady in the green suit you will have to face a helicopter. At the bottom of the left hand corner on the rooftop is a a MRL-22 rocket launcher. Shoot it four or five times at the helicopter and you will have an easy kill. You may have to shoot a few machine gun rounds at the helicopter if you were not successful.

In the first part, after killing all the enemies, break the shop windows to find armor and weapons inside.

When you enter the bedroom, go to the head of the bed. Aim and shoot at the pillows. Some dust will fly out of them and you will fluff the pillows.

Hint: Night Of The Jackal: The World Is Not Enough theme:
Go inside the building and enter in the bathroom. Stay there just listen to the music, which is the song from the main menu of The World Is Not Enough on the PlayStation. The song ends when you exit the embassy.

The first 007 icon is in a shop on the streets. Jump on the car, and when you see the icon, jump over to it to get it.

The next 007 icon is on the balcony where you can get a sniper by killing the guard.

Go through the small vent (use the Q-Laser to open the door) when you enter the level. Shoot the man pacing the room, then use the laser to open the vent again. Next, use the Q-Decrypter to open the door to the right. Shoot the man standing there and pick up his gun. Then, move to the sides of he room. There will be a PS-100 on one side and two grenades on the other side.

The first 007 icon can be found where you start. Turn to the big vent and use your Q-laser to find a 007 icon and body armor.

The next 007 icon is in part two. After killing the men in the white suits and completing your objective, turn right and shoot the gas barrels. Get the 007 icon behind it.

Hint: Precious Cargo: Quick helicopter kill:
After the part in which Zoe says "James, we're surrounded!" and you drive to the right after eliminating the enemies, you will pass through an alley. At the end of the alley you will reach a park setting. Fire a missile straight ahead and slightly upwards as you exit the alley. The missile should explode on the face of a building, yet destroy an incoming helicopter without taking the time to aim at it. You can now concentrate on shooting out the tires of the car that is after you.

Hint: Precious Cargo: Bond Moves:

Shoot the thug in the very first helicopter.

Disable the car after the helicopter. You can disable cars by blowing out a tire.

Disable the van without harming anyone in it. You can harm them after it is disabled.

Disable the next two cars that come at you.

Destroy the gas cans when you are surrounded. If you shoot a person, this Bond Move will not count.

Disable the following car after being surrounded.

Shoot the second van with the CH-6 without hitting anything else.

Shoot the helicopter with the CH-6 without hitting anything else.

Destroy the gas station.

Destroying the gas cans when you first enter the factory on the left side.

Destroy the rocket launcher thugs.

Shoot the gas cans near the forklift at the end.

Hint: Streets Of Bucharest level: Destroying tanks:
You will encounter two tanks at the end of the level. Fire your missiles at the train that passes over head. Aim for the red tanker car, and it will explode and also destroy the tanks.

When you see the train on the bridge with the two tanks beneath, the train cars will follow a pattern as follows:

The "( )" is an explosive car, a "[||]" is a box car with the doors open, and a "[ ]" is a box car. When you can see through both openings in an open box car (the one preceding the explosive car), shoot your cannon. The shell will hit the explosive car, giving you a quick victory. A slight lag is acceptable, since you can even shoot just when the explosive car is in your pointer. However, you may not want to do this, as it is very inaccurate.

Hint: Streets Of Bucharest: Bond Moves:

Using Q-Slicks.

Destroying the two helicopters by the train tracks.

In the room that has the switch for the Auto-Guns, punch out the guard to get a card key. It will be on the end of the table on the right, facing the main room. Then, complete the level. The intermission sequence will show Bond having some fun with Zoe instead of getting knocked out with the gas . You will also start at a different point in the Mediterranean Crisis Level.

 

Hint: Trouble In Paradise: Avoid security cameras:
When you have to get into the Identicon complex, use the Q-Claw on the pipeline, as R explained, to avoid security cameras and get a clean shot at the guard's head in the first room.

Hint: Trouble in Paradise: Hiding behind crates:
When you shoot the chain holding the crate, and keep going straight. An intermission with four men approaching will begin. They will look at the crates with the body armor behind them. You go over to the crates, then crouch and hide behind them. The four men will just run right by you without knowing you were there.

Hint: Trouble In Paradise: Enter the Armory:
Use the Q Claw to get up on to roof at the start of the level, Move right along the roof to the entry hole. Drop down the entrance, turn and face into the inside of the building, then hold L1 to crouch, and move forward with L1 still held until you drop down and are facing the guard with his back to you. Move slowly towards the guard, and once behind him, punch him. He will drop the keycard for the Armory. Inside the Armory are four grenades, armor and a rocket launcher.

Hint: Trouble In Paradise: Key card:
There is a locked armory to the left if you entered through the front door. It contains grenades and a bazooka. To get the key card, enter by using the Q-claw on the vent outside. At the end of the catwalk you will drop down and see a guard facing away. Drop in, get directly on top of him, and hit him with your fist. He should go down with one or two hits and you will get the key card if you are close enough.

Hint: Trouble in Paradise: 007 icons:

The first 007 icon is on top of the building. Use your Q-Claw to get on top of the building, then follow the path to find it.

The second 007 icon is found after you go down the elevator. You will see it sitting on the boxes in the back right corner.

The third 007 icon is in the room with plants sitting on the tables. It is on the left side of the room.

The fourth 007 is located after you find the vials that Nightshade was looking for. Go up the stairs and look to the left.

Hint: Trouble In Paradise: Bond Moves:

Open the front door with the Q-Decryptor.
Use the Q-Claw to get on the roof.
Open the other large door.
Open the armory door.
Open the locked gate with your laser.
Shoot the canister on the back of the forklift.
Shoot the cable that drops a box on one of the guards.

Hint: Trouble In Paradise: Easy gold medal:
To achieve the Golden Gun bonus, get the gold medal on the first level. To do this, get as much accuracy as you can, take as less hits as you can, and do all the Bond Moves (shooting barrels to explode, shooting vital enemy characters and find secret areas).

Hint: Multi-player mode: Using the Q-Claw:
If you turn the Q-Claw on, you can claw on to almost any surface. You can also use it to escape if you are being shot at.

You can use your Q-Claw as a weapon. Shoot it at an opponent as if you were using it correctly. If you hit him or her, it will do a small amount of damage. Hit them about twenty times to kill them. Remember to hold Gadget.

Hint: Multi-player mode: Castle level easy kills:
Get a Grenade Launcher (G-Launcher) or an SSR400. If you have either of these guns, take out your Q-Claw. Use it on the walls of the castle until you get to the very top of the level. If you have the SSR400, use the zoom feature to snipe your opponent every time he walks into the bottom of the level. If you have the Grenade Launcher, use its secondary fire and shoot down cluster grenades that spread on impact. Both tactics work very well.

 

Hint: Multi-player mode: Dungeon level secrets:
Face the three jail cells, then turn to the left and shoot the brick that stands out from the wall with the wood frame around it. After doing that, the middle cell should open, allowing you to enter. If your character gets locked inside, shoot the block to get out. To make a wall explode, go to the middle of the arena by going up the first set of stairs. Then, look at the large wooden door. Look to the left and walk over to the wall. You should see two brown barrels and some body armor. Stand back a bit and shoot the barrels. The wall will explode, allowing the your character to get the body armor. Note: The wall will stay open for the remainder of the match.

Hint: Multi-player mode: Dungeon level flying:
Select the Dungeon in multi-player mode and leave the weapons to the default setting. Go to the door at the top of the stairs. Use your FSU4 and press Select to get the bombs in the gun. Then, go over to the door, step back so that you are at the top step of the stairs, and fire one of the bombs at the door. If done correctly, you should go flying backwards to the bottom step on the bottom stairs. You can also try this with another method.

 

Hint: Multi-player mode: Get run over by a train:
Select multi-player mode and choose combat training. Select a character and options as normal, then go to the Escort level. Go to the train station and move on the rail. Wait and you will hear a train sound before getting struck.

Hint: Killing white snowsuit armored men:
In the level where you are supposedly a journalist, use a shotgun blast to kill the people with white snowsuit armor. If it misses their face, it penetrates their armor anyway.

 

Hint: Do a donut with a car:
Start the Dangerous Pursuit or Streets Of Bucharest level. Find a large area of space and stop. Hold the Left Analog-stick Right or the Left then press X. The car will do a donut as long as you hold X.

 

Hint: Destroying helicopters:
If there is a helicopter shooting you, a regular gun takes a long time to destroy it. However, if you have a Sniper Rifle (SSR 4000), use it to snipe the man's head in a helicopter. For example, Mediterranean Crisis has two helicopters to be destroyed. Use an SSR 4000 on one, and the machine gun on the second.

Hint: Turn off alarm:
If a guard trips an alarm, you can turn it off by pressing any of the alarm buttons.

Hint: Using Regenerative Armor:
After getting the Regenerative Armor, the only way for it to be used is if your armor is blinking. It will then regenerate up to where it will no longer be blinking.

Hint: Bond Moves:
When you see a helicopter, destroy all surrounding enemies. If you have a sniper rifle, take it out and hide until it stops firing its missiles and machine gun. Then, snipe him out to get a Bond Move.

If you are having trouble finding all the Bond moves, complete the game and keep watching. The game will go through all Bond moves.

To see all of the Bond Moves in the game, get a bronze metal or higher in all the levels to see a FMV sequence featuring all of them.

An easy way to get more points is to take few shots, get more head shots, do not use too much ammunition, shoot barrels with enemies next to them, and do special moves.

 

Hint: Easy Gold and Platinum ranks:
On all levels with Gold and Platinum points higher than 90,000, just set the difficulty to "Agent" or "00 Agent" instead of "Operative". The higher the difficulty, the more Bond points. For example, the Poseidon level is basically the same on any difficulty and you get more Bond points. This trick is worthwhile on levels from Night Of The Jackal and higher.

 

Hint: Secondary fire:
Press Select during a multi-player game to use the secondary fire for the weapon currently held. Note: This also sometimes works in single player mode.

Hint: Easy level completion:
One of the best ways to complete hard levels is to use a controller with a turbo feature. Unlock the "Golden Gun", "Golden Clip", and "Unlimited Ammo" (use the unlimited bond move on Evil Summit) cheats. Set the turbo feature to X. By holding X, you will turn the Golden Gun into an almost automatic pistol.

Glitch: Vehicle's base continues driving:
Play the Forbidden Depths level. If you fire the Golden CH-5 at Bloch enough times before he starts laying mines, the second time you meet him his vehicle will flip over. All you will see is the base of the vehicle driving along.

Glitch: Height:
When you get a gadget, look for a "techy" thing. The height of the tech is your arm level. Then, compare the height of the thing with how far it is from the ground. You will see that James Bond is very short in the game.

Glitch: Floating Bond:
After finishing the Bad Diplomacy level, jump into the air Immediately before going out the door to complete the level. James Bond should start to float.

Glitch: Dangerous Pursuit award:
Note: This glitch requires an older version of the game. Get the Platinum Award in Dangerous Pursuit and you will not only unlock Stealth Bond, but also the Thug, which is supposed to be the Platinum Reward For Cold Reception.

 

 

James Bond 007: NightFire

Drive a Shelby Cobra:
Begin game play on the Enemies Vanquished level. Press Start to pause game play, then hold L1 and press Right(2), Left(2), Up, then release L1. You can now use the Shelby Cobra from the Paris Prelude level in the race through the Alps.

 

Drive an SUV:
While racing on the Enemies Vanquished level, press Start to pause game play, then hold L1 and press Square, Circle, Triangle, Square, Triangle, then release L1.

 

Bonus race in Alps:
While racing on the Enemies Vanquished level, press Start to pause game play, then hold L1 and press Circle(2), Square(2), Triangle, then release L1.

Frantic racing:
While racing on the Paris Prelude, Enemies Vanquished, Island Infiltration, or Deep Descent level, press Start to pause game play, then hold L1 and press Square, Triangle, Circle, Square, Triangle, Circle, then release L1.

Berserk racing:
While racing on the Paris Prelude, Enemies Vanquished, Island Infiltration, or Deep Descent level, press Start to pause game play, then hold L1 and press Square, Triangle(2), Square, Triangle, Circle, then release L1.

Trails during racing:

An easy way to kill the guards that are on the snowmobiles, is to shoot them off, so that the snowmobile is all that remains.

 

Hint: Deep Descent: Ship identification:
When you are going into the hole in the sunken ship, look slightly to the left to it. You will see "MALPRAVE IND." and the Malprave trademark. Malprave was the front for the cloning facilities.

When M radios, telling you to find an alternate route, the ship you enter is quite familiar. It has the "Malprave" logo on the side of it. "Malprave" was the evil industry that Bond fought in James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire.

Hint: Double Cross: Freeing the first hostage:
After getting inside the building, go straight to where you saw one of the girls appear. Kill the man that is holding her so that he cannot shoot the girl. Kill all of the guards and the Geisha girl will be safe.

 

Hint: Double Cross: Freeing the second hostage:
Get into the second building. Kill some guards, then go to the kitchen area. Shoot the guard that is holding the hostage so he cannot shoot her. Kill the men to save the Geisha girls. Note: Make sure you also destroy the computer that he asked you to destroy.

 

Hint: Enemies Vanquished: 007 icons:

The first 007 icon can be found off to the left side after driving past the first cop car.

The second 007 icon can be found after jumping from the stairway.

The third 007 icon is in the air when you jump from the snow hill, to the ice path.

The forth 007 icon is on the left side of the ice when the path separates into two.

The last 007 icon is somewhere on the big patch of ice when you are trying to dispatch the guards and helicopters.

 

Hint: Night Shift: Opening caged and locked doors:
To open a cage door, press Action. To open a locked door with a keypad on it, use your Decrypter. Point it towards the keypad and hold R1 to unlock it.

Even though you cannot kill the guards, you can punch them and they will disappear.

Hint: The Exchange: Finding Kiko:
Kiko is in the party where all the guest are at with the two windows. Go up to her and Bond will talk to her.

Hint: The Exchange: Getting inside the party:
When you get into the castle walls, kill the two guards. Then, go left into the next room. Kill all of the guards in that room and follow the path. In the next room, go up to the top right stairway and kill the men. Follow the path, then turn right, immediately after you pass the tower wall. Follow the path and it should lead you directly to the stairs that allow you enter the party.

 

Hint: The Exchange: Alternate route into castle:
Head toward the castle doors. Before there you will you see a set of stairs. Go down. Walk along the castle's outer ledge. As you continue along, watch your step. Continue to three windows. Be careful as two guards patrol inside where you are. After that, use your grapple to get to the back way in.

 

Hint: The Exchange: Destroying the helicopter:
Using the Guided Missile Launcher, shoot the helicopter near the propeller.

 

Hint: The Exchange: Opening locked door and safe:
To open the locked door at the end, press Action on the side of the door. Then, use your laser on your watch to get in. After that, use your laser again to open the safe. The glowing purple sides on the safe are where you need to shoot.

 

Hint: The Exchange: Hostage:
Quietly go up to the first man down the stairs. You will automatically take his gun and he will act as a hostage. If you run away while his hands are up, he will take out a PP7.

 

 

Hint: Multi-player: Double pistols:
Choose multi-player mode and for weapons select Phoenix weapons. You will start with a pistol. Find another and you can use two pistols.
Note: You must also be a Phoenix character.

Hint: Platinum Medals:
Successfully complete a level under the 00 Agent difficulty setting to earn the Platinum Medal for it.

 

 

Onimusha: Warlords

Alternate costumes:
Successfully complete the game with at least ten Fluorites found and save. Choose to start a new game and a "Shinnosuke Normal/Special" option will be available. The special version will show Shinnosuke in a panda costume with a baby panda in a front pocket clapping his hands. The panda suit will be shown in most short clips but not all FMV sequences. Press L2 to wear or remove the panda head.

Successfully complete the game with an S rank by getting most of the Fluorites. Choose to start a new game and an option for Kaede's new princess dragon design costume will be unlocked. She wears a red skirt with little wings on the back and a small tail.

Onimusha 2 FMV sequence:
Successfully complete the game and save. Choose to start a new game and a "Special Report" option will be available. This allows a small sequence from the game's sequel to be viewed.

Speed trial mini-game:
Collect all 20 Fluorites (blue rocks) during game play. Complete and save the game. The Onimusha Spirits speed trial mini-game will be unlocked. Successfully complete the mini-game to unlock an option to play the regular game with the Bishamon Sword, unlimited ammunition, 99 Soul Absorbers, and automatic magic regeneration.

Easy mode:
Start a game and die about ten to fifteen times. After enough deaths, a message will appear, stating that a new easy mode is open. Note: You cannot achieve an S rank when playing in easy mode.

Hint: Bishamon O Flute:
There are two places in there game where a very strange man hanging from the ceiling by his feet stares at you and ignores you. Later in the game, after you use the Evil Plate and open the door, he will talk to you. The man will now take you (whenever desired), to the Dark Realm. In the Dark Realm, kill monsters until two portals open; one to go up and one to go down. Keep going down to the last level (9th or 10th) while collecting all the items en route. Open the box on the deepest level to get the Bishamon O flute. Keep the flute just before the last fight with the Demon King. It is needed to get the Bishamon Sword.

Hint: Bishamon Sword:
In the Demon Realm (just after you destroy the Ultimate Creation) is a save mirror and three doors. Go to the door that resembles an iron gate. It will not open at first. Use the Bishimon O flute on it and enter. Go to the Bishimon Sword jutting out of the Skull Demon wall object and take it. It is more powerful than all three of your weapons put together, and it has speed. The sword also has an unlimited supply of magic.

Hint: Fire Orb and Bow:
After defeating Reynaldo (the weird squirmy thing), go to the fire to the left where the zombie eating the human was to get a Fire Orb. Before leaving to the castle, enhance the Fire Orb to level 2.To get a Bow in the castle, go to the place where the bucket is located and cut it. Go upstairs and there will be a trick crate. To open it, press Right once and X twice. Then, press Left and press X once. Next, press Right and press X once. Finally, press Left once and press X. You now should have the Bow. Make sure you have normal arrows before using the Bow. You can find 10 normal arrows when you barely enter the castle and see the samurai and the kid.

Hint: Better gauntlet:
Reach 20,000 souls and when you go to enhance you will have a better gauntlet. Go when you have 50 to get the Golden Ogre Gauntlet.

Capture 50,000 souls to get an even better gauntlet.

Hint: Enhancing:
When enhancing, collect about 25,000 souls. The number next to the soul meter should say 25. Enhance all of your weapons and Orbs to level two. After collecting the Wind Orb, use the remaining souls to bring that to level three, since it is weak.

Save your green and red mana for the fourth sword. It can be found just beyond the destroyed master's house (level four or five). By saving points, you can build the weapon up to full immediately.

Hint: Great armor:
There is a chest behind the waterfall containing the great armor.

Hint: Flourite locations:
Collect each of the following 20 Flourites to unlock the Oni Spirits mini-game.

A Flourite can be found in one of the small alcoves with brown doors near the Seiryu in the Under Temple area.

Just after the Boss fight in the South area, break some urns and search the floor under them to find a Flourite.

In the Keep after running into Kaede with Yumemaru, you will find the Flourite in a small cupboard over the treasure box near the stairs.

Go to the upstairs level of the Keep, and pass through the room just past the red magic door on the catwalk. Step through the next room to find the Flourite under the stairs, near the treasure box containing the Arrows.

Go to the upper reaches of the Keep. You will find a Flourite across from Volume Two of the Seiryu, just after the intermission sequence where Tokichiru takes off into the night.

Go to the Keep Underground. Head down the second hall of glass-encased red samurai. There is a Flourite in the left corner, near the last samurai.

Go to the Keep Underground. A Flourite is hidden inside the iron maiden in the same room where you get the Blue Key.

Go to the West Area when playing as Kaede. Find the secret room and use the Gear to enter. There is a Flourite in front of the Buddha statue.

Playing as Kaede in the West Area. Step into the burning room just past the gate that required the Gold and Silver Plates. Through the door left of this entrance is a narrow staircase. Next to the staircase in a heap of barrels, which contains a Flourite.

Go to the West area. You can find a Flourite just outside the door after obtaining the Vision Staff with Samanosuke.

Go to the West area. There is a Flourite on the hill with the sled just outside the castle.

Go to the West Area. This is a Flourite blinking in the path on your way to the room with the statue where you got the Matchlock.

Go to the East Area with Samanosuke. There is a bell on top the roof. There is a Flourite In the walkway around the bell.

Play as Samanosuke and find the Flourite on the pier just past the Magic Mirror room in the East Area.

Go to the East Area. Just when you begin playing as Kaede you will enter a shrine just past the locked door you need to pick. A Flourite can be found on the floor just to the right of the door.

When playing as Kaede in the East Area, climb a ladder in the bridge house Magic Mirror room. Destroy the crates here to find another Flourite.

Go to the East Area while playing as Kaede. You can find another Flourite on a chest in the room where you get the final book of the Suzaku.

A Flourite is in the sixth level of the Dark Realm.

A Flourite is in eleventh level of the Dark Realm.

A Flourite is in the seventeenth level of the Dark Realm.

Hint: Extra red souls:
When fighting enemies around the floating blue skull-ball things, allow them to absorb the souls that are released when you slay an enemy. When you kill the skull-ball, you will get many more red souls than if you had absorbed them directly from the demon.

At the end of the game, when you are walking down the spiral pit, you will reach a pink and black blob that squirts out the "squid" monsters. Stand slightly to the left of where they land. When they are getting up (low enough that they are off-balance, but high enough that your foot can reach them), kick them over and stab them when they are laying down. You can easily get your red soul bar filled up 30 times using this technique.

Hint: Easy souls:
If you are low on health at the end of the game before facing the Boss go to the entrance of the keep for some battles. By now they should be easy -- just absorb the souls to raise your health

Hint: Easy kills with Kaede:
While attacking any enemy, hold R1 and press Up. You will then jump behind them. Keep pressing Up and attack while holding R1 and Kaede will automatically kill the enemy (slits the throat, etc.).

Hint: Defeating Marcellus:
At the end of the game you should have all weapons and orbs at the maximum. When fighting Marcellus again, kick him and use the Thunder Orb's magic. For some reason, this is stronger than his other attacks.

 

Hint: Defeating Fortinbras:
Start off by doing any type of attack that will make Fortinbras fall to the ground (special attacks will make this quick and easy). From this point on, just keep kicking him to death. Press Down + Attack, move forward, Down + Attack, and repeat. This will take some time. You will never get hit, plus he will not be able to attack you if you can keep the chain kicks going.

Use this strategy if you have only your three normal weapons, and not the secret sword. Kick him, then slash him with the Enryuu Fire Sword. It is the strongest. Give him about five kicks and then deliver a Thunder Orb magic. Repeat this until you have no more Thunder magic remaining. Then, use the Wind Orb magic to knock him down. Use the Fire Orb and some kicks. Most of his attacks are easy to dodge, except the fire.

Hint: Defeating giant monsters with ax:
When fighting the giant monsters with an ax, hold R1 and tap Forward. Immediately after that, attack him quickly. Then, hold R1 and tap Back a few times. Repeat this six or seven times and he will fall on the ground. Run over to him and tap Square as you stand on him. Samanosuke should put a sword through him to kill him. This will result in more souls than if you used magic against him. If the same thing is done with magic, he will fall immediately.

Use magic to knock him down and stand on top of him. Press Square to give you life and kill the monster with the ax in two hits.

Hint: Defeating archers:
Use the following trick to save arrows/bullets and health when facing archers. To kill archers on roofs without being in their line of fire and using up your arrows or bullets, run directly under them where they cannot shoot you and use a Wind spell. It will reach high enough to destroy them in one blow. If another enemy is directly under the archer, you can use a Lightning spell on that target and it will kill the archer directly above him as well. You can now save all but two of your arrows and all of your bullets for the last three Bosses, where they are very useful.

Hint: Defeating Chameleons:
To make short work of Chameleons, equip the Lightning orb, press R1, and run straight at them as soon as they appear before they uncloak. They will pause before they attack when they first come in. You can get in a Lightning spell as soon as they uncloak and wipe them out before they have the chance to do any damage. If you run out of magic, keep the Lightning sword equipped and block. Do not attack while they are using their sword on you, as they sometimes do a double slam and if you try to counter you will get hit. Wait for them to either uncloak at a distance and use their ring attack, block, then run straight at them holding down R1 and counter; or jump up and attack you, block, then counter while they are getting up from their crouch. If you do this quickly enough, you can get an instant kill.

 

Hint: Double Dark Realm rewards:
If you are proficient in the Dark Realm, go through it twice, once from the Sentry Box room and once from the well in the west area. You will only get the Bishamon Ocarina and the Flourites the first time, but you can pick up Herbs, Medicines, and another Talisman on your second trip through.

Hint: Blinking eye:
When you have an Orb in your gauntlet, stand still for a few seconds and the eye will blink.


 

Onimusha 2

Easy mode:
Start a game and die three times. A message will appear to indicate that a new easy difficulty setting is available.
Note: You cannot achieve an Onimusha rank when playing in easy mode.

Hard mode:
Successfully complete the game under the normal difficulty setting.

Critical mode:
Successfully complete the game under the hard difficulty setting.

 

Ending bonuses:
Successfully complete the game to unlock the Scenario Route option, Man In Black mode, and Team Onimusha mode; as well as a FMV preview of Onimusha 3.

 

Team Onimusha one hit kills:
Successfully complete the game in Team Onimusha mode to unlock an option to replay Team Onimusha with one hit kills.

 

Ultimate mode:
Successfully complete the game under the hard difficulty setting. Enter the "Special Features" menu and enable the "Ultimate Mode" option to begin a new game with the Rekka-Ken Sword, 20,000 in money, 30 Perfect Medicines, 10 Talismans, all level 3 armors, unlimited ammunition, unlimited magic, and skill always full. Your NPCs will also have unlimited sub-weapons.

Successfully complete the Oni Organization mini-game. You must hit with a One Flash attack in order to do damage to opponents.

The Issen strike works on Bosses. However, it will not kill them in one strike.

Mind Twister mode:
Successfully complete the game with all Paintings.

Jubei's alternate costume:
Collect the Fashionable Goods item and successfully complete the game with an ''S'' rank. Enter the " option to dress her in leather and sunglasses (press L2 to toggle). In the Japanese version, successfully complete the game with the Onimusha rank.

Oyu's alternate costume:
Get a 100% scenario completion by playing the game multiple times to make good alliances with all NPCs. After all scenarios are unlocked in the "Scenario Route" viewer, enter the "Special Features" menu and enable the "Extra Oyu" option to dress him in a 1970's style costume.

Extra missions:
There are three extra missions in the game, all located in the town of Imasho.

After the event in which you obtain the Red Ring, talk to Ekei. He will say that a woman pickpocket has taken a special item from him. First, seek her out behind the stables. Next, she will be in the second-floor balcony of the bar. After that, she goes to the blacksmith's shop. Finally, she will be back at the first hiding spot. Take the item she gives you to Ekei, and you should receive a technique book.

After the event in which you obtain the Red Ring, talk to a man that is in the shop next to the bar. He will give you chalk. Trade this with Ekei to get a book. Trade the book with Magoichi to get an emblem. Finally, give this to Kotaro in return for a melon. Take the melon to the man. After you rescue Oyu from Gifu Castle, talk to the man's father, who is standing next to him. He will give you a special necklace.

After you rescue Oyu from Gifu Castle, this will be your final opportunity to buy items and receive gold from enemies. Your goal is to clean out the store next to the bar. After this is accomplished, talk to the salesman again, and he will give you a special necklace.

Hint: Special secret:
While in the town of Imasho, trade with the other characters until you get three fossilized bones. Later in the game, after you teleport from Gifu Castle back to the Oni Sacred Place, you will find two doors in the second room. Place the bones in the middle door to reveal a secret.

Hint: Issen kill for all onscreen enemies:
Get the book of Tech 2 so you can charge up any of your weapons three times. Then, performed the Issen kill, but continue holding Square. Jubei will do the Issen kill for all enemies on the screen. o this on a lesser enemy such as a Crocodile Man or Rolling Orc to get the much larger one.

Hint: Instant kill:
To instantly kill any normal enemy, walk near them and wait until they try to strike you. Just before it is about to hit you, tap Attack and a yellow streak will instantly kill the enemy. Note: This attack does not work on Bosses.

Hint: Easy Issen attacks:
Move to your left or right for a thrust attack and press Square; move one step back for a slash attack and press Square; or use a timing attack on a rolling enemy.
 For quick Issen kills, wait until someone is about to strike you. Then, pause game play. As soon as the menu appears hold R1 and start tapping Square. After a moment, press Start again, release R1, but continue tapping Square. If you time the monster's attack c ou will get a lot more souls this way.

 

Hint: Easy gold and souls:
Go to the road to the gold mine. Some of Nobunaga's guards will be there. Kill them all, and they will drop some gold and some souls. Keep exiting the path and go back into it repeatedly.

 

Hint: Rakka-Ken Fire sword:
You can get the Rakka-Ken fire sword by completing the Purple Phantom Realm. This Phantom Realm is in a small room just of right of the bridge that leads to the Gingamphats fight. It is the most powerful weapon in the game and can easily defeat Nobunaga.

Hint: Defeating Gogandantess:
An easy way to end the first and second Gogandantess is attack her until both of your swords are up and creating sparks multiple times. You should keep trying until she appears to make the fight shorter and waste less time.

 

 

Okage: Shadow King

 

Hint: Easy experience:
Continue after defeating the first evil king (the rat). After defeating second evil king (the fish-like creature), return to the place where the first evil king was located, in the sewer. Once you get there, you will see bars that resemble those in a jail cell. Approach them and wait. A ghost will come after you. Let it get you for very good experience. The save and healer will also be nearby.

 

Hint: Easy Sukel:
In Tenel, go to the blacksmith's shop and talk to him. He will give you a Fruit Knife. Go to Madril and enter the shop. Talk to the kid at the counter. He will offer you 300 Sukel for the knife. Do not accept his offer, and tell him that you will think about it. Start a new conversation with him and he will offer you 400 Sukel, which you can accept.

When you get a new sword, sell your other weaker swords.

When you get though the Aquatic Ruins, you can keep returning to fight the earns to get more Sukel and experience.

 

Hint: Sword Of Gear:
Tiny gears are scattered all over the world on the ground. You cannot see them, but if you go near them you will automatically pick them up. If you get 30 of the 32 tiny gears and return to the house on the snow plain with a big snowman in front of it, the man inside will give you the "Sword of Gear". It has Attack +50 and Defense +10. If you keep talking to that man after you get the sword, he will tell you about the Turtle and the Pebble.

Sometimes when you have a customer, you can go against a wall or a solid straight side and ram side by side against it. If done correctly, you can get a Crazy Drift combo even if you did not do one. You can get up to an 8-combo. This works well by KFC with Gus or B.D Joe.

Go to the girl that is waiting at the car store. Pick her up and ride through between the car aisles. She will scream "Yeah!" and cash symbols will begin to surround you car.

Go to the used car shop with a customer and drive through the middle of the two lines of cars to get a lot of tips.

Play the game in original mode and work for ten minutes. If you drive carefully and earn $5,000 dollars or more, you will get the Class S license.

Hint: Get to first place:
Start the game with your fastest character and shift into reverse gear. Reverse all the way until you reach a passenger. When you have collected her, stay to the center of the road (so that you get more combos for Crazy Through). When you get to the rail car station at the top of the hill, go anyway you want (preferably straight down the middle). Try to stay to the center of the road. Go as fast as you can without crashing into any of the other vehicles. When you get to the bottom of the hill, drop off the passenger. After that, pick up any Red, Orange or (if desired) the Yellow. This will allow you to increase your time, passengers, and money.

To complete the 30 times level, drive down the middle of the road at a relatively slow speed.

Enable the "Another day mode" code, then begin the game in original mode. There is a hidden customer in the water by the pier.

There is a subway station downtown. Get in by driving down the stairs to find a customer that wants to be taken to another subway station. Just follow the railroad to the next station (the destination may vary) to get some extra cash. Try not to crash, because it will take a lot of time to get back on your way.

A hidden customer is near the parking structure. Drive up the ramp and slowly fall off the end of the structure on the far left side. You will see a green customer on the roof of the building you just landed on. Pick him up. He wants to go 2000 yards and will pay $975 to go to the police station.

Hint: Strange customers:
Drive down to the beach and into the water in arcade mode. In there are about three or four customers that usually want to go to Pizza Hut. Watch them closely when they hop in and out of the car -- they have unusually big ears.

Hint: Find the highway easily:
Follow the big blue bus to get to the highway.

Hint: Shortcut to the baseball stadium:
Just when you suppose to go around the hill, cut through the small hill and go through the parking lot with buses.

Hint: Crazy Pins:
Drive slowly down the middle of the lane of pins. At the end, use a Crazy Dash drive and accelerate.

When "Go" appears, put your car in reverse and do the Crazy Dash. When you reach the pins, use the back of your car to knock down all the pins and get a strike.

Hint: Make traffic fly:
Enable the "No gravity" and "Lighter cars" code. Tap or slam into a car. Depending on how hard it was hit, the car will slowly or very quickly beginto "fly" into the air.

Hint: Dancing cars:
Jump over a very big hill and hold Circle while rotating the Left Analog-stick. If done correctly, your the car will be in a spinning position with the back two wheels on the ground and the front two wheels in the air. Once you achieve this, stop rotating the Left Analog-stick but continue holding Circle.

Hint: Waterfall tunnel:
Start the game in Joyridin' (two player) and go to the Forest. When game play begins, a river should in front of you. Go to the right and follow the river until you reach a waterfall. There is a path to the left, when you are looking directly at the waterfall. Follow the path. When you reach the top, keep going until you get to the end of what looks like a forest half pipe. Turn to the left. You will then see two bridges. Go to the second one, that has no roof over it. Go across the bridge, but stop when you get to the end of it. To your upper left-hand side should be a medium sized hill. The tunnel is directly on the other side of it. When in the tunnel, you will start to go down, then up, and do a few turns/ However at the end, you will shoot out of a waterfall. For best effect, have one player watch the front of the waterfall while the other player goes through the tunnel --suddenly a car will shoot out of the waterfall from nowhere.

Hint: Quicksand:
Select Joyridin' mode. At the start point, turn right and cross the large pipe. Follow the road to the first aid station. About 100 feet past the first aid station, you will see tire tracks in sand on your left. About 20 feet down the road past the tire tracks is quicksand on your left.

Hint: Drive to the highest point of the Desert:
Go to Joyridin', select the Desert level, and a military vehicle. From where you start, drive over the hills where you see the windmills Go over the hills and you will see a road. Follow the road towards the border check point. Follow the road as it passes the post office and a couple of backpackers. Follow the road until it ends and take a right. Drive through the dried up pond until you see a tunnel. Drive through the tunnel and you will end up in a "valley". Follow the dirt tracks until you get to another tunnel but do not go into it. Instead, take a right up a steep hill. Once you are at the top, go under the boulders and follow the road that leads to a "pit". Drive off into the pit and you will see a tunnel. Drive through the tunnel and you will end up in another "pit". Drive into the pit and you will notice another tunnel. You can go into the tunnel and take a serious dive right over the post office that you passed on your way here or you can stay in the "pit". This is where you can climb the side to get to the "top" of the desert mountains. Use a car that is strong, such as the Hummer to get to the top. Once you are up there you will notice a black wall. That is the end of the map. There are a lot of traps up there, so be careful.

Hint: Small pond in the Forest level:
Go to Joyridin', select the Forest level, and a strong vehicle. From where you start, go straight and follow the road over the bridge.Stay on the road until you see a chain of mountains. The road starts to turn here, parallel with the mountains. You will see a white boulder directly off the right side of the road. Park next to it so that you are on the right side of it, facing the mountain. To the right is a green patch of grass on the mountain. That is where you need to drive up. When you get to the top, you will see another small mountain ridge. Go right and follow the green grass that leads you down and couple of feet into a flat area. Drive straight ahead. Notice the green grass that goes all the way to the top. That is your path to the top where the "pond" is located. Once you are on the top, take a left and follow the "black wall" (towards the sunset) -- you cannot fall off. You will see some jagged rocks. Right over the rocks is the pond. If you want, keep following the black border and see how far you get -- be careful or you will have to start all over again.

Hint: Highest point in Snow level:
Go to Joyridin', select the Snow level, and the rally car. From the start, go to the ice then follow the river. When you reach the split, take the right side. When you reach the dock before the bridge, make top speed. When you reach the steep wall you will see two dark stripes on the sides. Go towards the left one and drive up the hill about three feet away from the dark stripe. When you get to the top and go airborne, level out the car and go to the right at the top. Follow up the hill to get to the highest point of the level.

Hint: Steer in mid-air:
You can use the emergency brake in mid air to steer the car in any direction. You can also rock it back and fourth, or even spin on end:

Hint: Donuts:
Get to a flat surface (snow also recommended), then hold X + Circle + Left or Right. You can also hold Triangle + Circle + Left or Right.

Hint: Defeating the O'Gradys:
When racing against the O'Gradys, choose the SUV. As you start, the two buggys in front of you will take the lead. As you approach a corner, both buggys will swerve on to a grass verge. Do not follow them. Instead, continue along the road as you turn the corner. The buggy in second place will land in front of you. Ram him and he should go flying, putting you in second place. To over take the buggy in front of you, floor it as you enter the town. If done correctly, you should fly past him and be in first place at the last check point.

Hint: Career mode:
When in career mode, use buggy even though it is the second-fastest vehicle. The rally car has good speed but it is not meant for off-road.

Glitch: Break dancing cars:
Note: This works best with the "No gravity" code enabled. Accelerate up a very steep hill until the car starts to wheel spin and rolls back down. As the car starts to roll onto its side, turn the steering hard the way the car is falling just before it hits the ground. This will send the car in to an uncontrollable spin on its nose as it tries to correct itself.

Glitch: Drive over 1000 mph:
Go to Joyridin', select the Desert, then choose the SUV. Once started, head west (with the top of the map designated north) until you reach the mountain range at the edge of the map. Find the telephone wires. Now head south up the trail behind the telephone wires. Just before the trail curves slightly to the left, track straight up the side of the hill on the right. You have to hit it at an angle driving at least 60 mph. Once on top, head to the right to the top of a narrow ridge. Proceed slowly, as it is very narrow. Try to stay to the right on the ridge, then head straight up the hill at the end of the ridge. This will probably take several tries before you learn the correct angle of attack required to scale this hill. The SUV is the only vehicle that can climb this, and it can be done. Once on top of this hill, head to right and follow the edge of the landscape north to the corner. Watch out for the big holes, as they are extremely difficult to climb out of. Once at the corner, head east along the edge and fall into the first hole you reach. You will fall through the graphics into a void, where your speedometer will eventually climb to 1,118 mph.

Use the massive truck, slow down the Time Warp to the slowest setting, and select no gravity. Use the emergency brake trick to make you car spin on end -- keep the acceleration floored and steer to the left. If done correctly, your car will slowly rise up and the mph will keep increasing. It will eventually stop at 1,118 mph. Release, and wait for a long time before you car hits the ground and flies around the course uncontrollably at a very high speed. Note: This may take more than one attempt.

Glitch: Pass through graphics:
Go to Joyridin' on the snow level and select the Dune Buggy. Go to the lake, keep to the left, and go under the bridge. Follow the frozen water and when there is a fork in the water, take a right. Keep going in this direction until the water ends at a big hill. You will need to be driving about 115 mph or more to make it up the hill. Once you are on the hill, take a right. Follow the edge of the graphics and when it forms a corner with a ramp, go over the ramp to will fall into the graphics. Sometimes you will just spin there. At other times you will hit the ground and be able to drive off.

To travel over the large hill after the ice, enable the "Lighter cars" and "No gravity: codes. You will not have to reach the maximum speed, and making it to the top is much easier. Try to stay in a straight line, and you should fly up into the air, and coast over the top.

This also can be done with the Military Vehicle at the same location if it is going about 119mph.

Go to desert and chose the rally car. Go to the side of the level and climb it. Push against the side and follow it around the level until you find a ditch that appears towards the black. You will fall down and the surroundings will turn black.

Glitch: Flying car:
Select joyride mode, choose the forest level and the Rally car. Enable the "Low gravity" and "Lighter car" codes. Drive right and follow the road by the river. Once the road starts to curve right then left and you pass a green sign, you should see a tall hill that jumps over a small trail with logs. If done at the right angle and speed you sometimes can start flying to the left, right, down, or in some cases up, where you can look down an see the land. If done correctly your speed will increase up to 1,118 mph.

Glitch: Hole in the ice:
Drive to the waterfall in the snow and fall off. If you drive in the left corner, there is a hole in the ice but it looks as if you were driving on regular ice.

ADZAM:
Select arcade mode and play as a Federation pilot. Choose the first stage and wait until you get to a desert mission you should be fighting one Zaku2, one Gouf and an ADZAM mobile armor. Target the ADZAM and destroy it to unlock it in versus mode.

Big-Zam:
Select arcade mode and play as a Federation pilot. The easiest way to encounter it is to choose the fourth stage. Kill it to unlock it in versus mode. The only way to kill it with most Mobile Suits (or Gundams) is to jump up and hit its main body with your Beam Sword.

Braw-Bro:
Select arcade mode and play as a Federation pilot. Choose either the third or fourth stage, and at the second to last mission you will fight a mobile armor called Braw-Bro. Kill it yourself to unlock it in versus mode. Note: This will not work if an ally makes the kill.

Elemeth:
Play as a Federation pilot until you reach Solomon Space. There will be a Mobile Armor called the Elemeth. Destroy it to unlock it in versus mode. Note: If it does not appear, try being the Gundam, or restart and try again.

G-Bull:
Select arcade mode and play as a Zeon pilot. Choose the second or third stage. Play until you reaching a space battle where you will fight the G-Bull and one other Mobile Suit. Target and destroy the G-Bull to unlock it in versus mode.

G-Fighter:
Select arcade mode and play as a Zeon pilot. Choose the fourth stage and play until reaching the second to last mission. You will fight a Guntank and the G-FIGHTER. Target and destroy the G-Fighter to unlock it in versus mode.

GRABRO:
Select arcade mode and play as a Federation pilot. Choose one of the four stages and wait until you get to a mission where Zeon forces are attacking a base called Belfast. Target the GRABRO and just keep shooting it until it explodes to unlock it in versus mode. Note: This will not work if an ally makes the kill.

G-Sky:
Select arcade mode and play as a Zeon pilot. Choose the fourth stage and play until reaching a battle in space where you fight a Gelgoog and the G-Sky. Target and kill the G-Sky to unlock it in versus mode.

Zakurutella:
Select arcade mode and play as a Federation pilot. Choose the fourth stage and play until reaching a space mission where you have to fight the Zakurutella. Target and kill the Zakurutella to unlock it in versus mode.

Extra mode:
Successfully complete and save the game in campaign mode as both the Federation and Zeon. Select campaign mode again, and an "Extra" option will appear. In this mode, all Mobile Suits from both sides will be available in more difficult missions.

Alternate Mobile Suite color:
Select versus mode and select "Choose A Mobile Suit" Find a mobile suit on the Zeon side, but have the team you want to be on the Federation side. When the level starts, the Zeon mobile suit you had chose will be a different color. Note: This only works on Mobile Suits and not Mobile Armors.

Hint: Hijack Mobile Suits:
To hijack or steal a Mobile Suit in the story mode, you must end a mission with an enemy Mobile Suit still alive but with some damage. Chances are that if it is the only Suit besides you and your ally, you will see a message similar to "You have received a stolen GM". You can use it for ground combat." To get the hijacked Suits for arcade and the versus mode, kill one in arcade mode and survive the battle in which you killed it. When you open the versus mode or arcade mode, it will be there, ready for duty.

Hint: Defeating Big Zam:
Take out the Rick Doms by using Gundam with your Beam Saber, then get behind the Big Zam and fire your Bazooka. Beam Rifles have no effect. When you run out of ammunition, switch to Beam Saber, jump, and slash.
 In arcade mode on the mission in which you have to fight a Big Zam and some other Mobile Suit, get Gundam RX-78 and choose a Gundam Hammer for space and ground if desired. When you find the Big Zam, run up to it and hold L2. This will activate your swing hammer. The Gundam Hammer does so much damage that the Big Zam will last for only five seconds at maximum.

Hint: Defend the Big Tray:
Play as a Federation pilot in campaign mode. In the Odessa mission where you have to protect the Big Tray battle ship, use a Ground Gundam or Ground GM with the Beam Rifle. After taking care of the first enemy Mobile Suits you encounter, get on top of the Big Tray and pick off the enemies that get close to the ship. Let your partner take out the other enemy units.

Hint: Defend the Zeon Gundam:
In the New Yark mission where you must defend the Zeon Gundam, use a Project V Gundam unit. Use either the Beam Rifle or the Hyper Bazooka. The best plan is to keep moving and be fast. Use the Beam Rifle or Bazooka for long range. If you can get close, use the Beam Saber. Be careful, because the Zeon Gundam is strong and towards the end, he will get help from Zakus or Doms.

Hint: The Titans and the air and spacecraft:
To unlock jets, submarines, spacecraft , and Titan class mobile armors, locate one in versus mode, weaken it, and deliver the final blow yourself. If an ally does the final shot, you will not unlock it. Once you kill it and save, it will be available for use in versus mode. An example is the G Fighter. Mobile Suits can jump on and ride it while the other player steers. Press R2 to cut thrusters and sit there. Another example is the Byg Zam. It is a two legged ball with a lot of particle cannons and a shield that makes it invincible to beam weapons.

Hint: Recommended fighting Suits:
Some of the best Suits for arcade and versus mode are the Zaku II and the two GMs. All three of these suits have about 400 armor health points, very good weapons at their disposal, and are quite fast and good all around. Most people dismiss them as simple walking targets but they can pack a punch with some practice.

Hint: Recommended ground and sky jets:
The G-Sky in versus mode is a very good fighter to target Mobile Armors. Its best air attack are missiles (L2). The G-Fighter is a powerful ground hitter and armor killer. It cannot hit air targets easily, but can destroy ground and slow heavy armored units well.

Hint: Horn on Suit:
In campaign mode, select a Zeon soldier. Some missions may need your team to have two Mobile Suits on standby. One is yourself, and the other is controlled by the CPU. Select the Zaku I for both. You will see a "horn" (same as the one on Char's Custom) on the head of your Mobile Suit, because you become the captain on that mission. The same trick works for the Zaku II.

Gundam: Journey To Jaburo

Hint: Garma's Zaku:
When playing in story mode, mission 2, shoot down at least five of the Dopps that try to shoot down White Base. To make this easier, jump up on to White Base and shoot down the Dopps as they fly toward you. Once you have accomplished this, and the level progresses, instead of flying by in a red Dopp, Garma will be in his Zaku. Defeat him and successfully complete the rest of the mission to unlock this mobile suit in the gallery. If you have all the Zeon suits unlocked in the tactics battle mode already, then just finish a level to unlock this suit in the tactics battle mode. If not, just progress through tactics battle mode as usual.

Hint: Char's Zaku 2:
In hard mode, defeat Char's Z'Gok in four minutes or less to unlock the Zaku 2 in tactics battle mode.

Hint: Gundam Alex:
In tactics battle mode, use every mobile suit to complete every mission. You will then be able to fight the Blue Destiny. After obtaining Blue Destiny, use it to complete every tactics battle mode mission. You will then get to fight against the Alex. Use the gun cannon against Alex, since it has the best armor. Use its Beam Cannon to defeat Alex. After defeating Alex you will be able to use it in the tactics battle mode missions.
After getting the Federation suit Alex, play any of the Federation tactics battle missions with Alex then play any Zeon mission with any Zeon suit. Note: You may need a certain rank for this to work, it was tested at a Zeon Colonel level when using the Federation suits in tactics battle.

Hint: Wing Gundam (Japanese version):
Successfully complete story mode with an A+ rank or greater on each mission to unlock Wing Gundam in tactics battle mode.

Hint: Level 1 tactics battle (Zeon): Easy "S" rank:
Reach the base as fast as possible. Start from long distance, shooting the first three targets in the front. While avoiding enemy fire, use your boosters to get to the next three targets of the left side of the base. Once they are destroyed, use your boosters to jump the first hanger to your right. The Guntanks will not harm you. Watch out for GM, and use your claws, axe, etc. to hack away at the hanger until it explodes. This will take some time. Then, boost to the next hanger and repeat the process, still watching out for GM. Then, do the same to the last hanger. Once all hangers are gone, kill the target to the far right of the base. At this point, kill as many of the little tanks that do nothing. Killing them will ensure an "S" rank. Destroying about six of them should be sufficient. Then, kill the target to the far left.

To get an S+ rank with Zaku II, get to the left side of the base as fast as you can. This way, the GMs cannot get to you. Take out the four cannons on the left side (ignore the Guntank, it will not hurt you). Then, use the auxiliary attack (Cracker) on the hangers. Two Crackers should be enough to destroy a hanger. Destroy the last four cannons. This should take about two minutes to complete. Note: This can be done with anyone who uses the Cracker auxiliary attack.

Hint: Level 3: Easy completion:
Before you start this mission, make sure you have the Beam Cannon equipped. On level 3, quickly defeat the green Zakus and leave the red one alone for the moment. Make sure you get them all before continuing. After you defeat all the green Zakus, jump on one of the tallest buildings you can find that is fairly close to the white base. Two bombers will approach very close to the buildings -- close enough so that you can jump froom the building to the bomber. After jumping on the bomber, switch to your Beam Cannon and aim at the back stabilizer (the large fin on the back of the bomber) and hold Square for about two seconds. This will release a more powerful blast from the weapon. Firing this blast two times at the back fin will destroy the plane and it will start to fall. Repeat this for the second bomber. Note: This requires practice.

Hint: Level 3: Destroying bombers:
Get on the White Base's shelter, then jump on the bombers using boost and go to the tail fins. Pull out your sword and slice at it two times. The bomber's engines should turn red and it will begin to fall. jump off and repeat this on all the bombers.

Hint: Level 3 tactics battle (Earth): Easy completion:
At the start, kill the first wave of Zaku 2 in front of you. Once you get the message about enemy reinforcements, go to the northern-most part of the level. Locate the mountain in the center of the area limit wall and stand on top of it. Wait for the carrier. When the message that states that it has arrived appears, make sure you are blocking. The carrier will fire at you. Just as it crosses the area limit, jump up and land on the carrier. Take out your Beam Sword and hack away at the cockpit area. For some Suits, it ends here. For others, you have to kill the last Mobile Suits.
 Hint: Level 7: Easy completion:
On this level (with the DOMs) chose the Beam Rifle. When you start, go behind the white base and kill the DOM there. An intermission sequence will begin. After that, you will have to go back to white base and jump on it. Switch to the Beam Rifle then target (not the Zoku II) and shoot them down. They will not shoot you as much on white base. Note: If one gets too close to white base, hack them with the Beam Saber.

Hint: Exam system:
In tactics battle mode with the Blue Destiny GM to activate the Exam system, let your energy bar drop into the red. You can tell that the Exam system is activated when its camera (eye) turns from green to red. His will increase your defense and attack on enemy mobile suits.

Hint: Final level:
During the final level of the game, select the mace-like weapon. The only enemies are mobile suits, and you can get past more enemies quickly by getting close, locking on, and consistently attacking. You also have the advantage of not having to reload.

Hint: Destroying of GAWs:
When you see a GAW approaching, booster climb until you are above it. Land on it and blast it from on top. This will keep the GAW's guns from shooting you and the DOPPs.

Glitch: Broken wall:

Hint: Defeating the computer:
When up against the computer drop your gun. You do not need it and you could accidentally press
R3 -- you cannot maneuver with a gun in your hand. The first set of lasers are easy. Just do a jump flip, but watch for the higher laser. When you have activated all the consoles, the second set of lasers are activated. These lasers are faster, but are easy to jump flip over. After activating the consoles a second time, the third and final set of lasers show up. This must be timed perfectly. If you were jumping over the lasers while running at them -- this time run away from the lasers and do not jump, dash and roll. It is okay if you accidentally hit a laser, as you still may have enough health to finish. If you really want to save time throughout the entire level, after activating all four consoles, then activate the one you just did, so your order would be 1-2-3-4-4-1-2-3-4.

It is easier to defeat the computer if you run counter-clockwise around the room. Just run in a circle since Konoko can move faster than the laser beams.

 

Hint: Defeating the second Deadly Brain:
On Level 13, hold onto a mercury bow that you get in the stage. Make sure to have some ammunition. When you are fighting Shinitama, go up to Griffan's force field. If he is not standing near the force field, hit one of the switches and return. After he is near the force field, shoot him. If done correctly, he will get hit and come through the force field at you. Simply hit him a few times to win. Note: You cannot get the "Didn't kill Griffan" last Boss battle if this trick is used.

Hint: Defeating Barbras:
Knock his gun out of his hands, then pick it up and shoot missiles at him. If you run out of ammunition, let him pick it up and when he charges it up, get it from him again. Note: This will not kill him the second time that you fight him.

 

Hint: Defeating the Boss after the brain computer:
The Boss after the brain computer has the Wave Motion Cannon. When you start, run at him at an angle and jump kick the gun out of his hands -- he will fall down. Once he is on the ground, run over to the gate with the two fallen guards on each side. Go to the right and pick up the Hypo. Use it, and when you are super charged go after the Boss. This should make quick work of his health. If he has any health remaining, just use combos on him. Note: Do not let him get the gun.

 

Hint: Multiple endings:
After defeating the computer (Shinatama), you are faced with a choice -- kill Commander Griffin or not. Your choice will drastically effect the ending Boss fight. Should you decide to shoot him, you just made things harder on your self. At the final battle you will face your brother after he transforms into a monster. If you do not kill him, the final battle will be slightly easier This time, your brother will approach you with two of his troops and will not transform. Do not worry about the troops, your old "friends" from the TCTF will help you, as well as Commander Griffin, leaving you to face your brother. With either choice, the ending sequence remains the same.

 

Hint: An Innocent Life: Easy robot target:
On level 8, "An Innocent Life", one save point is within a room with three or four robots, deadly green ooze below, and large sparking arcs of electricity that you must avoid to get to the other side. From the save point, run up the stairs and take care of the robot up there. Then, hop down at the outcropping to the Terminal below. You should have just avoided the first half of the first arc of electricity. After you drop down, the robot guarding the terminal to temporarily shut down the arcs of electricity will not usually "see" you, since you arrived the wrong way. He now should be an easy kill.

 

Hint: Bio Lab: Force Shield:
On the Bio Lab level, immediately after you defeat the Boss, go to the door to the second save point. After saving the game and you have made it up to the second floor, save the scientist in the back of the left-side room. After doing so, he will give you a Force Shield which will stop all bullets that are shot at you. Note: Even with the shield active, hand to hand combat still can hurt you.

 

Hint: Dawn of the Crysilus, Syndicate Mountain Compound: Mutant Muro:
Enable the
"Character select" code and keep pressing L2 to cycle though the different characters on that level. After Konoko and Muro, a huge final form of Muro that only appears in the regular game if Griffin is killed earlier. Enable the "Tiny character" code to make the final form of Muro smaller. Enter the "Tiny character" code again and it will be average size.

 

Hint: Rooftops: Defeating the ninja:
Use the following trick to easily defeat the ninja at the end of the level. Get and keep the Screaming Cannon. While fighting the ninja, stand with your back to the elevator door that you came through. The ninja will teleport and get stuck in the elevator behind you. Walk forward, turn around, and you will be able to see him trying to run through the door. Shoot him with the Screaming Cannon and he will die instantly. Note: Sometimes he will teleport beside you. If this happens, hit him until he has to teleport and try standing in front of the door again.

 

Hint: Truth And Consequences: Walk outside:
On level 9, "Truth And Consequences" you will start in a small room with a man you can talk to. He will tell you he has a wife and kids. Leave this room and go into the front atrium. In here you will see the locked front door, dual staircases, and a lot of glass. Shoot out a full square pane of glass (not just a triangular section), then run and hop through. You are now outside on the streets. The programmers anticipated this and placed roadblocks outside, as well as invisible barriers, at the end of each street. You cannot run around too much. Note: At each roadblock are two enemies, with at least one carrying a Mercury Bow. If you are fast enough you can see them pop into existence. If you are careful and quick enough, you can grab a Mercury Bow from one of the opponents and it will still have one shot remaining. When you want to reenter the building, run up to the front door and it will open, and lock behind you. If you do not kill any of the opponents that see you while outside, they may come stalking after you throughout the building. Finally, going outside and then reentering the building sometimes causes a glitch in the game where it will stutter every second or so.

 

Hint: Skip level 13:
Enable the
"Unlimited health" code. When Griffin's desk falls at the beginning, follow it. From here, you can either go towards the door at the other side of the

room to initiate the Deadly Brain, or just start to use the control panels that deactivate the Deadly Brain (but if you do that, you may have to skip this level to exit).

Hint: Faster Mercury Bow recharge:
Instead of waiting for the Mercury Bow to recharge between shots, drop it and pick it up again and it will be ready to fire.

Hint: A Chance Meeting: Falling objects:
When you enter the main U-boat facility and start to fight your way towards the docks, you will encounter several train cars. One of these cars has a mounted MG-44. Hit the switch on the other side of the car and it will roll until the gun is pointing through a doorway leading into an open area between the dockyard buildings. Use the gun to clear out the enemy. When done, proceed forward until you find more Nazis. One of them will shoot at you with another machine gun mounted on a sandbagged position. Behind that are a truck full of torpedoes and a crane that is holding several crates aloft. Use your Springfield sniper rifle and shoot the rope. The crates will fall on the truck, causing it to explode and kill the sniper on the crane and any nearby Nazis.

 

Hint: Clipping Their Wings: Hidden chests:
On the final mission where you are required to take pictures of the blueprints, there is a sleeping area. On the side of the room where you find the spy camera, check in between the bunks to find hidden chests. You will find canteens inside.

 

Hint: Derailed: Secret passage:
As you start the mission, go to your right and you will see a dirt road. Go slow because of a Nazi that is sitting down, waiting. You see something in the mountain. Go to the door but do not open it. Get ready to shoot -- there are three Nazis inside. Mow them down and grab the MG-42. Then, wipe out the remaining Nazis below.

 

Hint: Nijmegen Bridge: Destroy the AA gun:
At the end of the level, you will see a red barrel with a white rag sticking out of it that must be destroyed. Use the following trick instead of shooting the barrel or tossing a grenade to detonate it. Approach the side of the barrel with the rag. You should see the message "Press Action to ignite the rag" appear at the top of the screen. Do so, and you will hear the sound of Jimmy lighting a lighter and touching it to the rag. Immediately back away and wait. After a few seconds, the barrel will explode and the anti-aircraft gun will be destroyed without wasting any ammunition.

 

Hint: Nijmegen Bridge: Suicidal Nazi:
When instructed climb up the ladder to top of bridge, do so. Note: Enable the "Invincibility" or "Bullet shield mode" codes to make this easier. When you reach the top of the ladder, a Nazi will be directly in front of you. He will aim his gun at you and begin to shake. Do not shoot him or any other Nazis. Wait for a moment, and he will stand up, grab his helmet, and jump off the top of the bridge screaming.

Hint: Nijmegen Bridge: Nazi helper:
Go up the ladder that leads to the top of the bridge. There should be two Nazis there; one directly in front of you, and one to the left. The one to the left gets scared and falls off of the bridge. The one in front of you will shake. If you walk up behind him, he will grab his rifle and start sniping the Nazis below him on the bridge. Shoot all other Nazis in the area.

 

Hint: Nijmegen Bridge: Snagged Nazis:
Proceed with the mission until you come up from under the bridge the first time. Kill the three Nazis waiting for their relief. Keep walking about 10 feet, take out your sniper rifle, and zoom in as much as you can on the upper part of the bridge. You should see some men crouching. If you are lucky, you can see their shots as they are fired, which gives them away easier. Shoot the Nazis and they will fall and get snagged on some wires on the bridge. They will try to get up, fail, and die.

 

Hint: Omaha Beach: Saving your men:
When you get out of the water, quickly get to an obstacle, then find the Higgins Boat where your lieutenant is located. Saving your men is difficult because cannot see very far. The will not wave at you unless you are close to them. Once you run up and down the beach a few times, you will hear them over the noise.

 

Hint: On Track: UFO:
When you get outdoors next to Sturmgeist's train, look up and to the right. You will see a UFO flying in the air. If you look closely, it has the Nazi markings and colors.

 

 

Hint: On Track: Jimmy Patterson poster:
When you get to the entrance to the train station, stop and look on the left side of the entrance door. There will be a wanted poster of Jimmy Patterson with a picture. It even has a reward in German.

 

Hint: On Track: Drunk Nazi:
You will find a bar just before the first trains. The first person you should see is a Nazi with a mug walking around the room. Do not shoot him. Shoot the others with guns. After you kill the ones with guns, you can see the drunk Nazi lie down and go to sleep on the floor, using his mug as a pillow.

 

Hint: Operation Repunzel: Suicidal Nazi:
There is a Nazi soldier practicing a speech in a hall where you find the map behind the painting. Instead of going around on the top, go downstairs and run up to him. He will automatically fall back and die without a single shot. The only downside is that you cannot get a gold star for this mission if this is done.

 

Hint: Operation Repunzel: Extra health:
After you kill all the waiters and the cook, look around and run to the bread. Jimmy will say that its yummy , and your health will rise more than a medical canteen.

 

Hint: Operation Repunzel: Speech practice:
You will encounter a man practicing his speech in a large hall inside the building where they are preparing to have a Nazi Rally. Instead of walking up to him, stay on the balcony and go across the walkway connecting the two sides of the room. He will see you and tell you to stop. He will then pick up the rocket launcher next to the podium and fire it at you. It will hit the walkway and blow it in half, forming a ramp from the ground floor to the upper level.

 

Hint: Operation Repunzel: Chandelier kill:
You can shoot the chandeliers that are around in some of the rooms of the Nazi building. They will kill anyone underneath, including you.

 

Hint: Rough Landing: Sniping Nazis:
After Barnes blows up the tank that is inside a barn, you will get to a mill where you will find a sniper. Kill him, then get up to the mill. Snipe the large group of Nazis that will appear in the distance, as if they were following you.

 

Hint: Seaside Stowaway: Breach wall to the docks:
You will see a red barrel with a white rag sticking out of it that must be destroyed. Use the following trick instead of shooting the barrel or tossing a grenade to detonate it. Approach the side of the barrel with the rag. You should see the message "Press Action to ignite the rag" appear at the top of the screen. Hint: Yard By Yard: Civilian backup:
In one of the alleys, you will encounter an old women just sitting in her backyard. Next door to her lives a young man with glasses, lying on his lawn next to his shed. In his yard is a ladder propped up on a couple of boxes. Use this ladder as a ramp and walk across it. In this yard is a man with a helmet standing next to his shed. Do not shoot him. Walk up closely to him and he should have his arms raised, is clearly too old to be in the military. Stare at him until he puts his arms down and reaches into his shed window for a shotgun. Still, do not shoot him. By this time a Nazi soldier will storm into the man's yard. The old man will fire at him, killing him, and leave his yard looking for more Nazis. For good measure, stand as close to him as possible while he leaves his yard. He will give you a nudge to go while he covers you.

 

Hint: Yard By Yard: Create hole:
Shoot the dirt with a Panzerschreck and the man will sink down into a hole.

 

Hint: Yard By Yard: Flush the toilet:
At the beginning of the mission in the first house you enter, go up the stairs to find a bathroom. Press Action here and Jimmy will flush the toilet.

 

Hint: Yard By Yard: Dancing Nazis:
In the second building that overlooks Checkpoint 2, shoot the Nazi on the machine gun and quickly look down. The Nazis down there will be dancing.

 

Hint: Your Finest Hour: Soldiers' names:
After your amphibious boat explodes, go to the shore where you will see a few dead men. Zoom in on there chest and you will see names such as Rus K (Risky) and others.

Hint: Your Finest Hour: Fish:
In the first mission, Your Finest Hour, walk along the beach and you will can little silver fish that have washed up on shore.

 

Hint: Restore health:
In some levels, such as Yard To Yard, you can find bread on tables that you can eat and get back a small amount of health.

Glitch: Glass ladder:
In the last level (The Horten's Nest: Stealing the Show), immediately before you steal the HO-IX, walk around to the front of the plane and face the ladder. Take out any gun and shoot the wooden part of the ladder (not between the steps). Glass shards will fly out, as if the ladder were made of glass.

 

Glitch: Glass tree:
Begin the Golden Lion level and walk straight from where you start. There should be two Nazis by a machine gun/ Kill them and the Nazis that are approaching. After you have killed all the Nazis, press Action to grab and use the machine gun. Turn the machine gun to the left, aiming at the tree that is almost directly in front of you. Shoot the tree and glass will pour out of it. It will also have glass bullet holes in it.

 

Glitch: Glass in midair:
Start The Golden Lion level and go near the garage called "Wagen Fuhrer". Near that garage is a sign with a small arrow underneath reading "Van Uchelen Meubels". Northeast of that sign is a green double door window. Shoot in between the bottom corner of the green window and the top right corner of the sign. There is invisible glass floating in midair at that position, and when shot, will leave bullet marks. Note: This trick only works at certain angles, which there are many. You have to be to the right of the sign and the window for it to work; or you can stand far away and use the sniper rifle to hit it as long as you are on the right side.

 

Glitch: Trunkless tree:
In the Nijmegen Bridge level, after you have finished crossing the bridge and begin to go down the exit ramp, kill all of the men at the bottom of the ramp. Start to head back up the ramp and you will see that one of the trees on the side of the road does not have a trunk. You can look from all different angles but it is not there.

 

Glitch: Teammate in midair:
At the start of the Nijmegen Bridge level you start being on stairs with a teammate at your side. After he is finished talking to you, shoot him or use a melee attack and he will fall backwards. Keep shooting him and he will keep falling backwards, not down the stairs, but in midair. Note: This glitch does not happen all the time. If it does not, restart the mission and try again.

 

Glitch: Dead man talking:
Play the Nijmegen Bridge level at the part where you kill all the people as you get sniped out by the people in the rafters. Enable the "Silver bullet mode" and "Bullet shield" codes and climb the ladder. Kill everyone up there. As you climb down. look at the may laying at the bottom of the ladder. He looks dead but zoom in on his face with the sniper. He blinks, moves his lips, but cannot die.

 

Glitch: Falling Nazi:
Play the Derailed level. When you ride the second train, a Nazi will be on a crane. Shoot him and when you get off, go to the alley that goes in the direction of the crane. You will see the Nazi stuck in the tree, flailing. You can shoot him, but he will not die.

 

Glitch: Disappearing buildings:
In the Arnhem Knights level, go by the Ariaantje Juweliers sign. There is a light brick wall at that location. Go through the wall and you will see that the buildings disappear. Note: You have to be on the other side of the rubble, and if you go further down the alley you will find the same glitch.

 

Glitch: Light a fire in mid-air:
Instead of lighting the rags, on the red barrels shoot them. Then walk up to where the barrel was. You should have the writing on the top that instructs you to
"Press Action to ignite the rag". Press Action and a fire will start in mid-air.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty

Alternate title screen:
Successfully complete the game. The title screen will turn blue.

To see the alternate title screen without completing the game, load your game file but do not begin game play. Instead, return to the title screen and it will alternate from Raiden's face to Solid Snake's face.

Extreme difficulty setting:
Successfully complete the game to unlock the extreme difficulty setting

Increase grip strength:
Press
L2 + R2 one hundred times when hanging on a ledge to do pull-ups.

Control intermission sequences:
Much like the Codec transmissions, you can also press
L1 or R1 to zoom in during an intermission. The harder you press, the more the zoom. You will hear a gunshot. While holding the button, use the Right Analog-stick to move the view. Also during certain parts of some intermissions are sections where it looks like you are viewing the scene through a camera or binoculars. You can use the zoom feature with these as well, and the onscreen distance or zoom indicators will increase realistically the more you zoom in. This also can be done at the beginning of the game, before pressing Start. Note: L1 and R1 are pressure sensitive. How hard you press determines the amount of zoom.

 

Control title screen:
Press L2 to hear a gunshot and see a flash at the title screen.

Use the Right Analog-stick at the title screen to change the background color.

Control Codec sequences:
Press the Left Analog-stick or Right Analog-stick to move the faces. Press
R3 or R4 to zoom in.  When using your Codec to contact Otacon or others in the game, press R1 or R2 to reveal Snake's or Raiden's thoughts about those persons, with some funny phrases. You will also hear who they really feel about their women.

Quick skip Codec calls:
Press X button to stop the talking, then hold Square until the Codec conversation is done. This is useful when advancing past long, boring intermissions, or intermissions that you have already viewed.  During Codec sequences, press
X followed by Triangle. The game will rapidly scroll through all the dialogue and close the Codec function on its own.  To fast forward Codec calls, press Triangle.

Hint: Garma's Zaku:
When playing in story mode, mission 2, shoot down at least five of the Dopps that try to shoot down White Base. To make this easier, jump up on to White Base and shoot down the Dopps as they fly toward you. Once you have accomplished this, and the level progresses, instead of flying by in a red Dopp, Garma will be in his Zaku. Defeat him and successfully complete the rest of the mission to unlock this mobile suit in the gallery. If you have all the Zeon suits unlocked in the tactics battle mode already, then just finish a level to unlock this suit in the tactics battle mode. If not, just progress through tactics battle mode as usual.

 

Hint: Char's Zaku 2:
In hard mode, defeat Char's Z'Gok in four minutes or less to unlock the Zaku 2 in tactics battle mode.

 

Hint: Gundam Alex:
In tactics battle mode, use every mobile suit to complete every mission. You will then be able to fight the Blue Destiny. After obtaining Blue Destiny, use it to complete every tactics battle mode mission. You will then get to fight against the Alex. Use the gun cannon against Alex, since it has the best armor. Use its Beam Cannon to defeat Alex. After defeating Alex you will be able to use it in the tactics battle mode missions.

 

Hint: Kampfer:
After getting the Federation suit Alex, play any of the Federation tactics battle missions with Alex then play any Zeon mission with any Zeon suit. Note: You may need a certain rank for this to work, it was tested at a Zeon Colonel level when using the Federation suits in tactics battle.

 

Hint: Wing Gundam (Japanese version):
Successfully complete story mode with an A+ rank or greater on each mission to unlock Wing Gundam in tactics battle mode.

 

Hint: Wing Gundam Custom (Japanese version):

Hint: Level 1 tactics battle (Zeon): Easy "S" rank:
Reach the base as fast as possible. Start from long distance, shooting the first three targets in the front. While avoiding enemy fire, use your boosters to get to the next three targets of the left side of the base. Once they are destroyed, use your boosters to jump the first hanger to your right. The Guntanks will not harm you. Watch out for GM, and use your claws, axe, etc. to hack away at the hanger until it explodes. This will take some time. Then, boost to the next hanger and repeat the process, still watching out for GM. Then, do the same to the last hanger. Once all hangers are gone, kill the target to the far right of the base. At this point, kill as many of the little tanks that do nothing. Killing them will ensure an "S" rank. Destroying about six of them should be sufficient. Then, kill the target to the far left.

To get an S+ rank with Zaku II, get to the left side of the base as fast as you can. This way, the GMs cannot get to you. Take out the four cannons on the left side (ignore the Guntank, it will not hurt you). Then, use the auxiliary attack (Cracker) on the hangers. Two Crackers should be enough to destroy a hanger. Destroy the last four cannons. This should take about two minutes to complete. Note: This can be done with anyone who uses the Cracker auxiliary attack.

 

Hint: Level 3: Easy completion:
Before you start this mission, make sure you have the Beam Cannon equipped. On level 3, quickly defeat the green Zakus and leave the red one alone for the moment. Make sure you get them all before continuing. After you defeat all the green Zakus, jump on one of the tallest buildings you can find that is fairly close to the white base. Two bombers will approach very close to the buildings -- close enough so that you can jump froom the building to the bomber. After jumping on the bomber, switch to your Beam Cannon and aim at the back stabilizer (the large fin on the back of the bomber) and hold Square for about two seconds. This will release a more powerful blast from the weapon. Firing this blast two times at the back fin will destroy the plane and it will start to fall. Repeat this for the second bomber. Note: This requires practice.

 

Hint: Level 3: Destroying bombers:
Get on the White Base's shelter, then jump on the bombers using boost and go to the tail fins. Pull out your sword and slice at it two times. The bomber's engines should turn red and it will begin to fall. jump off and repeat this on all the bombers.

 

Hint: Level 3 tactics battle (Earth): Easy completion:
At the start, kill the first wave of Zaku 2 in front of you. Once you get the message about enemy reinforcements, go to the northern-most part of the level. Locate the mountain in the center of the area limit wall and stand on top of it. Wait for the carrier. When the message that states that it has arrived appears, make sure you are blocking. The carrier will fire at you. Just as it crosses the area limit, jump up and land on the carrier. Take out your Beam Sword and hack away at the cockpit area. For some Suits, it ends here. For others, you have to kill the last Mobile Suits.

 

Hint: Level 7: Easy completion:
On this level (with the DOMs) chose the Beam Rifle. When you start, go behind the white base and kill the DOM there. An intermission sequence will begin. After that, you will have to go back to white base and jump on it. Switch to the Beam Rifle then target (not the Zoku II) and shoot them down. They will not shoot you as much on white base. Note: If one gets too close to white base, hack them with the Beam Saber.

 

Hint: Exam system:
In tactics battle mode with the Blue Destiny GM to activate the Exam system, let your energy bar drop into the red. You can tell that the Exam system is activated when its camera (eye) turns from green to red. His will increase your defense and attack on enemy mobile suits.

When you see a GAW approaching, booster climb until you are above it. Land on it and blast it from on top. This will keep the GAW's guns from shooting you and the DOPPs.
