Hello everyone! This page will tell you a little bit about me, Dori DeCoopman. Sindi and I have been breeding Mini Rex together for several years now, even though our love for the breed started way before then. I consider Sindi to be my best friend (next to my husband of course!) and rabbit breeding partner. We decided to go into this venture together and we have been inseperable ever since. We started with some "novice" stock, so to speak and continually strived to breed each generation better then the last. We both love all the colors (well, maybe except castor ;)........)but wanted to venture into individual colors that we each loved. I started in the chinchilla variety and Sindi the red. We bought the best stock we could and have kept them going now for all the years we have been breeding together.

My one love is Chihuahuas. I breed and show them in AKC shows. I have been activily involved in the Chihuahua breed for over 12 years now. I am also a professional groomer and love my job. My Chihuahuas have had great success in the ring. I carry my breeding ethics from the dogs over to the rabbit breeding. And the Chihuahuas think the rabbits are great too. Once, I had a baby bunny, about 3 weeks old, get out of the cage it was in. I couldn't find that baby anywhere. I tore my house apart!! I sorta gave up when low and behold there was that baby bunny sleeping in the big bed with the Chihuahuas!! They cuddled that little guy and treated him like one of their own. That little 'Chihuahua" with the funny color grew up to be my Gandalf. He can be seen on the chin page.

My other loves include my family (first and foremost), horses (I used to ride/train horses for hunter/jumpers events), wolves (although I think Sindi's love for them is a little deeper then mine!), Jesse James/West Coast Choppers/Monster Garage (my husband will like that one!), collecting anything Chihuahua/rabbit, Eeyore, and rabbit shows. I also love Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and most fantasy/sci-fi stuff.
