| My Wedding? | ||||||||
| On June 22, 2003, I dreamed the strangest dream I've ever had. It was weird, to say the least. Apparently, it was my wedding day which should be one of the best days of my life, right? First, I had to go pick up someone to take to my wedding. As if I didn't have better, more important things to do. I have no idea why I picked her up because I never saw her again. Then, when I got to the church, my bridesmaids were still making their dresses, and the dresses were hideous too! It was some sort of organza fabric with a lining that didn't match at all. Not only that, but I was wearing ugly blue loafers that didn't fit. I had to shove paper into them to make them stay on my feet. Fortunately, I have a fairly extensive shoe collection (in real life too), so I had shoes to replace the ugly ones. Anyway, my sister was a bridesmaid, and only one of my friends was there. Nobody was there to help me get ready until it was almost time fo me to walk down the aisle. But nobody really knew exactly when that was supposed to be anyway. Throughout all of this I've only seen my husband-to-be once. I don't know his what his name was, and I've never seen anyone who looks like him in my entire life. But he was really handsome. :) Of course. It couldn't be any other way, right? After all, it is a dream -- not a nightmare. And in my dream I was __ years old. (--Come on, you didn't really think I would put my age in here did you?--) Not only that, I was wondering why I was getting married before I graduated from college. One of my life-long goals has been to get married only after I get my degree. I never walked down the aisle though. Oh no. This is where the dream turned freaky and slightly nightmarish. I was in my wedding dress, picking my way through a sodden field to get to a broken-down house where the "feast" was to be held. I don't know what was no the plate (it looked disgusting!), but one dish of food had to serve about six people. Fortunately, my dream ended before I had to eat the food. That really would've been bad. Crazy stuff, huh? I wonder what goes through my head to make me dream silly junk like this. |
