1986- Marriott Converts 3 Old Howard Johnson's On Mass Turnpike To Roy Rogers
1987- Marriott Converts 6 Old Howard Johnson's On the Pennsylvania Turnpike To Roy Rogers
1989- Marriott Opens Roy Rogers On I-95 In Lexington MA, And Newton, MA
1990- Roy Rogers Has 894 Locations Mainly in the Northeast & Mid-Atlantic Regions
1990- Marriott Sells Roy Rogers To Hardees for $365 Million
1990- Hardees Converts 220 Roy Rogers in the North East & Mid-Atlantic To Hardees
1992- Due to Customer Loyalty Hardees Reconverts 220 Locations Back To Roy Rogers and restores old menu except for breakfast
1992- Marriott Now a franchiser of Roy Rogers opens 7 locations along the New York State Thruway
1994- Hardees Sells 94 Philadelphia Area Roy Rogers To Boston Chicken

2000- New Roy Rogers Opened in Frederick, MD by Plamondon Corp, a Franchiser of 15 Roy Rogers
