The Solihull Judo Club began:
Almost forty years ago
when Peter Barnett saw the enormous potential
of what might happen in such a central position under his guidance.
He had a vision which would take the club to undreamed of supremacy
over many other regional rivals (including London).
Legends (hope they wont mind being called `legends') such as Neil Adams MBE,
Keith Cannaby, Les Hudspith, Dave Walker, Roy Muller, Peter Donnelly, Geoff Hobbs,
Ron Knight, Joyce Malley, were knocked into `shape'
by Peter Barnett and their fame spread throughout the UK and far beyond.
