It's Christmas Eve and Santa's already been! Under the "Other" section on the Images page you will find a bolded italicized link for the Roxy Rocket Icons page. And evidently the jolly fellow decided to redecorate while he was at it, so now all of the subpages have the same black and red background as the main page does. You know, I once heard somewhere that a red serif on a white background is the most readable online font, but I've had it that way for over a year now and I just got to thinking how boring it made everything look. This way, with the goggle-green-colored font on the rippling background, it's kind of disorienting and dizzying to the reader, but knowing Roxy, she probably thinks it's funny to induce vertigo in her fans.
Whatever. Happy holidays to you all!

Well, one of the kind people got back to me, like, immediately, and yet I was still abysmally tardy in updating with their contributions. (*groans*) I'm sorry, I'll try making it up with the icons page that I'm uploading in the next few days. If any of you have online journals or favorite forums that enable avatars, maybe you'd like to snatch an image or two.
In the meantime, the deepest apologies and most heartfelt thanks to Ivy and to Elaine the Insane for the six images they provided me. Hit the Images page for the last one under "Non-Animated Art" and the last five under "Other." Elaine makes a great Roxy. 8)

More updating goodness. Not that this really affects any of you guys, but I finally fixed the counter. Go me!

Oh, this is so embarassing. Here I am, updating for the first time in over a year, and it is only to say--I'm so sorry! Two lovely people sent in these great images of Roxy, and not only did I not respond to their e-mails, but I forgot their names and e-mail addresses. So I have these five great Roxy images and I don't know how to credit them. If both of you could just e-mail me back...tell me what name you'd like me to credit you by, what e-mail address (if any) you want me to show for you, and which of these five images you are responsible for:
1. A drawing schemata of Roxy in four profiles
2. Three great ensemble photos of someone dressed as Roxy with other Batman characters
3. The same very photogenic Roxy look-a-like standing by herself at a tilt.
And I have the sneaky suspicion that the two of you know each other, so if one of you sees this message first, could you pass it along to the other one? I'd love to be able to thank both of you personally. Roxy fans are few and far between--there must be much praise, both for your good taste in characters and for your kind contributions.

Thought I'd mention that this site is now listed with the "Villainous Vamps of Gotham City" webring, you can go view Roxy's OtherEarths RPG stats from the bottom of the About Roxy page, I've put up another picture of the cosplay Roxy on the Images page, and we now have a guestbook. So if you do come by here, drop us a line. It would be most appreciated.

On the "About Roxy" page, under stuff other people have said, I've added a brief profile from a German site. Sneaky me. 8) Plus, on the Images page you will not find a new image, but the fifth link under Other will take you to a page on yet another fan-created Roxy action figure. It is interesting, in light of her neglect in other areas, how popular she seems to be as a figure.

We have links! The finishing touches on the About Roxy page, and we're good to go. Time to open the site to the public. Next I'm going to think about my layout on the front page, which I've pretty much ripped off of my Megavolt site. Maybe something with buttons....

This is actually effort of the past couple days, but I put together an About Roxy page (consisting of FAQ, my views on the character and some things other people have said) an Images page (which is where the gawk'n'drool comes in) and a Texts page. But seeing as there is nothing really for Roxy in terms of fanfiction, poetry, or other prose, I just threw up some quotes. Ve vait on ze links.

Yeah, so this is gonna be a Roxy Rocket website when I have the time. Which I don't at the moment. So. Yes. There shall be an abundance of pictures that I have gathered at one point or another during my endless forays on the internet for the meager resources it has to offer in the department of Roxy-related shite. Once I have dredged them up from the various sinkholes I have saved them to, they shall be here. Indeed. In the event that someone finds this site before I have had time to clean house and is desperate to communicate with me (*shrug*) email me at [email protected].
Before I go--it sucks to be me. I have seen the "Batman" episode "The Ultimate Thrill" twice. I have seen that "Superman" episode where she shows up once--and then I missed the first minute or two of the beginning, which constitutes most of her appearance in that episode. All three viewings took place over two years ago. I do not have Roxy on tape. There are no soundfiles of her that I have yet found online. I cannot remember her amusing and witty quips, which latched me onto the character in the first place, word for word. This site is not going to reflect the full barrage of her rather intense and appealing personality. With only pictures to go on, it really can't be much more than a gawk'n'drool-fest.
And yet, there are no other sites. My apologies to Roxy. Someone had to do it. 8/
