| When Xander fell into an ancient tomb, he stirred the avenging spirits of the Chumash Indians. The Europeans inflicted such brutish atrocities on the peaceful tribe that they swore revenge on Anglo's in general. Their spirits were fittingly unleashed on Thanksgiving Day and instinctively sought the most prominent warrior in the land: Buffy.
