| Nineth Life The first life he lost he said "no big deal", The second life he lost he said "I think I'll go have myself a meal." The third and fourth lives he lost he said "I'd better slow down", The fifth and sixth lives he lost he said "I have to stop clowning around." The seventh life he lost he said "I'm older and wiser now." The eighth life he lost he said "I just lost it somehow." And now as he slowly falls asleep, He makes no sound not a peep, And as he slowly fades away, He tells God, "I lost my nineth life today." By Roxanne Age 12 |
