I should have told everyone this earlier, and I know you all hate me now. The dealine could not be reached because: 1.) There weren't fics found for all the catagories 2.) The Black Swan was undergoing some extensive remodeling 3.) My teacher are all on different diets and don't eat enough chocolate. Thus, they are cranky and give me too much homework. | Roxanne's Flying Heart Award The Flying Heart Award is for best romance fanfic. What I'm looking for is a fanfic that shows neither lust nor puppy love, but a realistic relationship. It doesn't matter if your fanfic is yaoi or het, all that matters it that the relationship is realistically portrayed. Avoid stereotypes like a sadistic Heero, and try not to put in unneccisary sex scenes. |
| Roxanne's ROXY Award The ROXY award is for best vidfic. I'm looking for creativity, style, and some good music. The video you describe needs to have at least something to do with the song... unless the song's lyrics make no sense. |
| Roxanne's Very Big Loser Award I felt sorry for all those poor souls who have no writing talent... so I made an award for them, because I really wouldn't want them to feel left out at THE ROXY AWARDS. Introducing the 'Very Big Loser' award. To win this, you have to write a fanfic that is confusing, senseless, dull, racist, makes fun of people of people because of their sexual orientation, is repetetive, and, overall, just plain nasty. |
| Roxanne's Roxanne Award The Roxanne award is for overall best fanfic, vidfic, or whatever concerns GW fan literature. To win, your fic neds to have a beautiful or strong style, a message or emotion that's clear, and is as original as possible. Avoid meaningless sex scenes and GW stereotypes. |
| Roxanne's Sick, Sad Life Award This award is for best angst fic. I'm looking for heart-breaking stories that are very depressive. The story needs to be discriptive about why the character is so angst-filled so anyone could get into his/her head. |
| Roxanne's Wet Towel Award It's wet. It's a towel. It's the Wet Towel Award! The Wet Towel Award is for best comedy or insane comedy. What I'm looking for is sly, or just silly laugh-out-loud-spill- cofee-on-your-pants- jokes. Avoid racist jokes, jokes about minorities or sexual orientation jokes. Sound too hard? |
| Roxanne's X-file Award This award is for the best Parallel Universe fic. What I'm looking for is originality, good writing style and plot, with some ties to the Gundam Wing series (in other words, don't change EVERYTHING). |

Simple, I read your fic randomly, or you send me an e-mail telling me that your or some other guy's fic totally rocks and should win an award. In the e-mail, tell me what ROXY Award/Awards it should win, your or the author's name, the fic's name, the basic plot (don't give too much of it away... write one to four sentences about it), and where to find the fic (links are cool, too. But don't send attatchments, I'm a paranoic who thinks people want to crash my already fickle computer). Lastly, I'll e-mail you to let you know if your fic won (or didn't). | Roxanne's X-OVER Award This award is for best crossover. Basically I'm looking for originality, style, and, above all, at least minimal knowlege on the show that's being fused with GW. In other words, don't confuse Ranma with Relena, K? Oh yeah, a Gundam Wing character has to appear at least once in the fanfic. |

| Roxanne's Cherry Rose Award This award is for best poetic fic. What I'm looking for is a poem with a beautiful or strong message, which has a smooth flow and pulls the reader into the poem. The poem can have any size, and can tell about anything. I'm also looking for originality. Try not to copy what you read in fanfic when describing something, and adding in symbolism is a plus. Songs also count as poetry. |

| Roxanne's Black Cat Award This award is for the best horror fic. Basically, what I'm looking for is a fic that's eerie, but not brainless. I don't want to see any giant monsters stomping cities or smut like that. I want a real, sophisticated, or just fun to read plot, that is suspensful, action-packed, and even a bit creepy. But it all has to make sense. Don't forget to add in a story beside the horror, or it's only horror, horror, and characters you barely know. |

| Howdy, and welcome to the first ever ROXY Awards... awards given out by me, and rated by the pitiful few friends I have... who don't know the difference between Gundam Wing and Robotech. BUT... they DO know a good story when they see one!!! All the fics they choose I get to take the last look at, before deciding if it's to be put on the map or it's just plain crap. Anyone can enter, and if you don't have a page to hold your or your friends' precious ficcie, I'll make you/them one! So, sit back an take a look at some of the Awards I made!!! |

I will not give anyone an award that they are not signed up for... provided I don't select you randomly, while browsing through the internet (in other words, if I randomely stumble upon you and you weren't nominated). But if someone nominates you, or you nominate yourself, for a certain award, I can't, for example, give you ''Roxanne's Very Big Loser Award" if you're not nominated for it. Even if you think you deserve an award, if you specifically nominate yourself for only some of the awards, only the judges have the power to nominate you for other awards. I can only choose give a certain award of my choice to you if you weren't nominated for any award. II. If you don't make it clear that you accepted the award, I can't award or post you because you're not considered a winner.
