| We will not place dogs in situations like those from which they have come. For this reason, we do not place outside dogs. Dogs need to be with people who can spend time with them and provide a stimulating, loving environment. Fenced yards are not always a mandatory requirement, but the adoptive family must have ideas on how their new dog will get the required exercise he or she will require. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| We are committed to each of Roxie's dogs for the rest of it's natural life. We will take a dog back at any time for any reason. We DO NOT want our dogs left at a shelter. We are also committed to reducing pet overpopulation. For this reason, all rescue dogs are altered prior to adoption. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Adoption applicants are carefully screened. This process begins with an adoption application. A personal interview, vet reference check and finally a home visit follow. Only after completing all these steps is a decision made about placing a dog in a potential home. We reserve the right to not approve an adoption if our criteria is not met. | To make every adoption a successful one, we remain available for training and behavioural advice. Included with the adoption contract is information about training and integrating the dog into its new home. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
