Act III Scene II Blocking
Opens with Mortimer still tied up, O'Hara still center stage, Einstein in chair, Jonathan asleep on couch

Einstein goes to window at knock, after "it's cops" bends over couch shaking Jonathan, runs upstairs right before door opens

Brophy and Klein at door staring, Brophy comes between chair and couch, next to O'Hara on "what the hell is going on here"

Klein goes to untire Mortimer, takes cords to table

Mortimer stands and heads toward stairs on "get away from me"

Klein crosses in front of table to O'Hara as Mortimer moves out of the way, Brophy goes to chair, sits, and picks up the phone

O'Hara follows Mortimer after "It is?", they stop behind living room chair

Jonathan sits up on "we'll hold him right here"

Klein and Brophy run over and grab Jonathan pulling him up on "reward"

Mortimer runs up to see Teddy as in script

Choking and knocking Jonathan out as in script

Roony enters and comes between chair and couch up stage from Jonathan

Ohara moves up on the outside of chair on "I thought it all along", exits as in script

Brophy and Klein pick up Jonathan and drag him in front of  the table toward the kitchen at "take that guy someplace", stop on word "accomplice" and turn (they should be in front of the table at this point)

Teddy enters and walk up through chair and couch and stops next to Rooney at "falling for that kind of story"

Brophy, Klein, Jonathan, Teddy exit as in script, Roony sits at table when they exit

Mortimer enters as they exit, crossing to table to sit and speak with Roony, stands and goes to the door at knock to let in Elaine and Witherspoon

Elaine and Witherspoon enter past Mortimer, he closes door and turns to them before speaking

Roony stands on "Lieutenent"

Wistherspoon crosses to Roony on "you're taking him back with you today"

Elaine crosses to window seat and sits on "nuts!" and Mortimer crosses to Roony and Witherspoon.

Teddy enters as in script, backing out of the kitchen door, he stands, looking forward, next to kitchen door

Mortimer crosses to him on "just a minute", beckons to Witherspoon at "this is Mr. Witherspoon" (Witherspoon crosses to them.)

Teddy crosses to stairs after "when the safari comes, tell them to wait" , shakes aunts hands on the way out.

Martha and Abby stand to stage right of stairway when they enter.

Mortimer crosses to aunts as Teddy is shaking their hands. Witherspoon goes to sit behind the table

Abby and Martha cross to Roony when entroduced, Mortimer follows, Abby and Martha cross behind table when entroduced to Witherspoon, Abby sits, Martha stands behind her

Roony sits on "he's come to take him"

Mortimer stands between Roony and Witherspoon

Klein enters and walks up to stage right of the table

Roony stands on "I want to get this all cleaned up", and walks to kitchen saying "thirteen bodies" on the way out, Klein follows, Mortimer takes Roony's seat

Einstein enters as in script,

Mortimer stands at "oh" turning to go upstairs to find Einstein and sees him, crosses over, takes his arm and leads him to the table

Follow stage directions middle of page 89-90

Einstein exits after "you're really doing Brooklyn a service"

Mortimer crosses back to table at "Mr. Brewster" and sits

Witherspoon stands on "upstairs", exits after "turn to the left"

Martha takes Witherspoon's seat

Elaine rises and crosses to stand behind Mortimer at "darlings, that's very indefinate"

Mortimer stands slowly at "and elaine, it won't make any difference" and turns to Elaine, hugs her energetically after "i'm a bastard", Mortimer and Elaine exit as in script

Witherspoon enters and goes to couch to sit

Roony enters, stops stage left of  table to speak to aunts before going to the door

Brophy, Klein get Jonathan in front of chair and stop at "well, Jonathan, it's nice to know", turning him to look at aunts, Abby and Martha stand and come to Jonathan, Brophy and Klein drag Jonathan up between couch and chair, out door, Martha and Abby follow

Abby moves up to sit in chair and Martha moves behind the chair at "Does your family live with you"
Martha goes to sideboard and pours wine, brings it to Witherspoon, sits next to him on the couch
